'This poor creature is actually very close to us, family wise anyway. Only unlike us or any other wolf, he lacks the will..the drive to be free, they depend on the humans, their ability to hunt.. is gone, the humans call them dogs.' 'Kishi sat on her hind as she listened to the male, eager to learn everything she could about these things. A dog. So it wasn't a human; and it was related to them! How exciting! She'd often heard one wolf call another wolf a 'dog' in way of an insult, but had never considered the idea that they may be a real creature! The femme looked at it now, thinking of the new knowledge she had just gained, and found herself feeling quite sorry for the 'dog'. It was snarling and struggling like their was no tomorrow, and even managed to get a grip on Shades leg with its small jaws, but was soon shaken off with a nasty kick to the head. But fancy not being free, fancy living in dependance of those 'human' creatures. It must be awful! Poor thing.
'I hate to say it but if i let him up then the chances are he will attack, as far as he is concerned we are the enemy.' Even though the Brute seemed to be finding her ignorance of such matters amusing, those were the words she had not wanted to hear. She looked down at the small creature. In sorts, it kind of resembled a wolf pup, with the way it wriggled, the way it looked, and its size. Except, it definitely did have a threatening edge to it, the way its jaws snapped shut with force, the way it snarled. It seemed Shade was probably right, it would do them damage.
The femme knew Shade would be more than willing to kill it. He was probably the most violence driven wolf of the entire pack, something that both worried her, but had saved their lives many a time before. 'Kishi looked at him, the way he was putting his whole body weight onto the 'dog', preventing it from scrabbling free. He was definitely strong, and she had to admit, would probably bear nice offspring.. God, she should not be thinking that. If he knew what was going through her mind, that would be all of her dignity out of the window. "Do what you must then." She said, meaning to wrid them of the fascinating 'dog', and looking away towards the big crashed thing so she did not have to watch.

The brute nodded and slowly lowered his head, as he pinned the dog's head down with his paw, gently taking it's neck in his mouth and with a swift jerk, he ended the canines life without to much pain, there was no scent of blood in the air, it was clear enough that the massive and intimidating brute had shown this 'dog' a form of kindness that he had never shown any of his enemies before."I'm sorry my brother..your spirit is now free.." the brute said as he laid the canines head down,he then looked over at his alphess a look of despair had filled his eyes, "he deserves a proper burial.." he looked back at the dog. "atleast we can do that much for him."
And with that the brute slowly padded over to the biggest tree he could find, and he started to dig a grave which was both long enough and wide enough for the canine to fit comfortable into. he hated the fact that he had to kill an innocent creature because of how the humans had raised it, he then made a promise then and there that he would not rest until every human had either left kongrai or had died by his teeth. the canine did not deserve to die!, but what could he of done?.. the dog would of kept attacking them if he had let it go, and as much as he hated killing it he would of hated himself more if he had allowed it to harm his alphess.he then gently pushed the canine into the gave and filled it in.
Just then the brute's horns shot up, as he heard a disstress call from the direction of the betan and the shaman, his heart sunk alil as he mumbled. "Frost...". he then turned to his alphess to see if she had heard the same thing as he did. from the way she now stood it was clear that she to was upset about the canine's death but there was something more important that had come to the brute's attention "Kishi.. we need to go... now..". he padded over and rubbed on her comfortingly but he knew it would do very little seeing how the brute was upset as well.
He then looked back toward where the distress call had come from, it was definitively from the pack but who..then it sank into his mind. it could be one of three things a skyla attack, a zentha follower or a human. the brute sighed deeply hoping beyond hope that his pack mates would be okay until they arrived to help them out. he looked at his alphess awaiting her commands, after all there was no way in hell that he was going to leave her all alone this close to the humans.

The delicate famora did not watch as Shade did what was needed. She heard him talking to the creature for a few seconds, apologizing for what he was doing. The sound of a struggle rose to a rather loud point, but then died out completely, along with the dogs life. 'Kishi breathed in slowly, to steady herself, and then looked back to Shade, eyes flicking to the lifeless body on the floor for no longer than a second before turning her full attention to the Brute. He hadn't ripped the thing up, it seemed, which was a good thing, atleast. 'he deserves a proper burial. atleast we can do that much for him.' For some reason, even though the situation was hardly appropriate, these words amused the femme, and she struggled to keep the smile from showing in her sad eyes. He'd always come across as quite a bloodthirsty individual, and she had always assumed him to have a quite large drive to kill. Maybe she had been wrong? Certainly, proposing that they bury the thing did not fit the character she had always thought she'd known. It was a nice thing to do.
Nor did the femme accompany Shade as he buried the dog. She merely watched in wonder from a distance, seeing him as if in a new light, observing in fascination as he did his job, only breaking out of her little trance when an alarmed call erupted out from where they had left Frost and Halgea, causing Kishi's ears to stand at their fullest, swivveling towards the Dens. Panick shot through her as she realised the dangers she had left them in. God, she'd been so caught up in obsessing over the male she had with her, she'd completely forgotten about the other two members of her pack! 'Kishi.. We need to go .. Now.' for once, the Alphess agreed with her Warrior, nodding just in time to race off towards the Dens, forgetting all about the Dog, forgetting all about the plane, and forgetting all about the thinsg she had been thinking. Well, almost.
