"And where would we bring Halgea?" Frost asked. Zestos river was well known to be dangerous for pups or weak wolves. Then she plucked the red thing from Shade, gave him a couple licks from where it was, then went back to check out Halgea. There were humans in their territory... Unfortunately, humans were more greedy than any other creature. They took up land, land, and more land, thinking they need more houses. No, they were overpopulated, and they just keep having more and more pups, never stopping to consider to take one they didn't make. She was told a long time ago, some people abandoned their kids because they didn't like them. Disgusting! Why go through the pain of having a kid when they could skip that part? And the greedy creatures are coming back to Kongrai! Stay away from them, their scent, and we should be fine. But their instinct would take over most of Xyla territory. There would be no place left to live. And if Halgea was right, well, the humans were stuck here. Forever. Until another human plane or helicopter came and brought them up. But then this land will be discovered and taken over by humans. And should they warn other packs? Well, it would be best to warn them, at least, Liazo. Then they'lll be prepared, and they might have some allies. But Skyla might sense their weakness, and attack. And they could bring Skyla straight into the human camp. They might run, might fight, but the odds of them winning would be low. And then the humans would get any and all wolves within reach. And Skyla might survive. This situation was bad, horrible. The best they could do was try and wait it out. Maybe another pack would defeat them, but that was unlikely. Aargh! "I'm going hunting," she said quietly and left to clear her head. exits

Just then something caught the brute's eye as he seemingly ignored the shaman's words, his head craning over toward the near by woods and there upon a semi-high branch, was a Great-horned owl, which kind of struck the brute as strange seeing how owl's are mainly active at night preferring the moonlight over that of the sunlight. the brute slowly rose up from his position his eyes locked on the bird as he slowly padded away from the group and toward it, For some reason shade felt as if he were being drawn toward this creature, he felt that he already knew it somehow.. no.. the brute shook his head, that was impossible he had been with his pack over the past few days and even then when he was alone he had ever encountered a creature like the one that sat on that branch.
As the brute approached the tree he got a surpise, the owl actually spoke. "About time i found you.. Shade". this caused the brute to jump.. it knew his name!. the owl chuckled softly at the brute's shocked expression then hopped down to a lower branch. the brute tilted his head and spoke. "H-How...how do my name bird". The owl seemed to scoff at Shade's response which just annoyed the brute, causing him to growl softly but again the owl just seemed to laugh and spoke once more."Calm yourself boy, you have earned quite a name for yourself". the brute smiled softly when the owl mentioned that, "Now don't go getting all smiley about it! your a dang fool! you've made some very deadly enemies as well". the brute's smile instantly faded as he then rammed the tree with all his might, the impact causing the owl to lose his grip and fall to the ground before the massive brute.
Shade then turned and walked toward the annoying bird as he growled with pure annoyence and anger, "N-now...just hold on a minute! i can help you!.." the owl said as the brute was closing in on him. "please! my name is Cheen and i'm your guardian..". The brute froze dead in his tracks as he just stared at the owl a short time before speaking. " You mean.. your just like that annoying pet that kaija has?..". They both shared a laugh for a moment as Cheen thought of an answer, shade looked back over toward his pack to see if they had seen any of the weirdness between him and the owl then Cheen spoke up. "Yeah.. though i'm not a fighter but other then that i will aid you in anyway i can". This made the brute smile as he turned to walk back to his pack, speaking to his new found "pet". "Fine.. make yourself useful and scout the area" ooc: Just thought i'd bring in Shade's guardian instead of making shade find him later.

Ooc, sorry, what day it is or anything. Never mind. Just, it can get kind of weird with no nights or when the season changes in the middle of a conversation.

ooc: If your wondering what "time" of day it is, then you'd have to speak with kishi, seeing how she started the thread there for she sets the scene and the time of day.

ooc: Sorry this has taken so damn long, i've been busy busy busy, and have little muse.
Kishi took a startled step back when Halgea suddenly let out an outburst of words, listening with interest as she told of what the humans were doing here. The fae had never encountered these two-legged creatures before, so the matter was completely new to her, and she looked upon it with a mixture of interest and curiosity. From what her Betan was saying, the humans could fly in the air, although they did not possess any wings connected to their bodies! Amazing! The fae was not sure how they managed to do so, magic would be her best guess, but she could understand why everybody was so freaked about them. if these creatures could use magic to fly without wings, what other things could they do? Where did their limits start?
The suggestion to go and have a look around the 'airoplane' thing was a good one, and Kishi found herself intrigued, wanting to go and take a look herself. But she would tend to her pack first, make sure both Halgea and Shade were Ok, before padding off to see this human flying thing. Frost asked where they should bring Halgea, and Kishi had to think for several minutes, trying to work out where would be best, coming to the conclusion that Zestos lake would be ideal. That was where she had given birth and reared her pups, and it had proved safe enough. If she was correct, the birthing cave would still be there, somewhere. That would be the perfect place to take Halgea, where she could rest and repair herself in peace. "Zestos Lake. Theirs a cave round there somewhere, where i gave birth to pups a few years back. It should be perfect. Halgea, can you walk?"
Kishi was so focused on her fallen Betan, that she had not realised that both wolves had disappeared. She'd heard Frost mutter something, about hunting perhaps? But hadn't paid much attention to it. Looking up now, surprised to find herself alone with Halgea, the femme glanced around, spotting Shade a few metres away, stalking an owl. Gosh, that was something you didn't see very often anymore. She frowned, and then looked back to Halgea, awaiting her answer.

Frost ran back to her pack. She had gotten away to clear her head. Hadn't worked. Now, she was stuck thinking about that brute, Oak, Halgea, the humans, a pack called exousia, what do do with the humans, what to do with the wolf and other pack, why she had talked so long, ad if she hadn't talked, would these bird still be slightly warm. A loud growl rumbled in her throat. She ran faster. Stupid world. She slowed down again as she neared the clearing. Shade was with an owl. What?! Oh, stupid world. She trotted over to Halgea and dropped the birds at her feet, then walked away to lay down close enough to hear. Then she would tell them about the wolf. Then she remembered, she still more or less smelled like another wolf. She cursed herself and the world again, and started grooming herself. Still, why was the brute so close to the border? There to watch her? Highly unlikely.

"You know Frost, you would fit a lot better in Exousia. I stumbled upon them and tried to be one of them but they are REALLY secretive. I was talking about my life apparently too much and they kicked me out! Not like you but your kinda secretive- in a good way. And you don't talk or socialize much, like them! Oh, I just broke my vow to never mention it unless invigorated or asked... oops..." SMACK SMACKETY SMACK!!! Why did she say that? EEEERRRRG!!!!

As the brute left the owl to survey the land from the sky, he noticed that the shaman had returned and was laying by the injured fae, he sighed and padded toward them as his aud's perked up, heard something that kind of angered the brute as he started to walk faster toward the group, a low growl rumbling in his throat as he did so. He didn't care if she was the beta or not, when it came to the safety and well being of the pack the only one who out-ranked the brute was his alphess. he padded straight up to the betan and stared directly into her eyes as he spoke. " I'm sorry kishi but im not going to stand by while this goes down, we need all the members we can get right now the Exousia can handle themselves."
The brute sighed abit as he looked over at his alphess then back at the beta female, it was clear from the way the brute stood that he was still out-raged by what he had heard the female say, Sending a member of this pack to another pack that she knew nothing about!?. the brute shook his head from side to side slowly showing his disappointment in her judgement, As he started to speak again."Helgea i respect that you've done alot of stuff for this pack, and that you are a beta but sending a member that we need to a pack we know nothing about is just stupid and short-sighted."
Cheen made his way though the skies with easy as he mumbled under his breathe about his so-called master. Even if he didn't like it he had to obey him even though he wasn't as scary as Skyla brute Kaija, he was still pretty scary and Cheen was far from a fighter. the owl looked down and what he saw made his blood run cold. The fae was correct about the plane crash.. but that was just the beginning.. the humans already had a "pack camp" on kongrai this was seriously bad!.. Two shots rang out as the owl barely moved in time to avoid being hit as he flew back toward where he knew the pack would be.

"I never sent her anywhere. I was just telling her about the Exousia... Don't think she knew. But she should stay in this pack. She has kindness in her heart, its just she reminds me so much of THEM..." Halgea laid her head down and sighed. Her vision was blurring... She lapsed again into unconsciousness.

"I never sent her anywhere. I was just telling her about the Exousia... Don't think she knew. But she should stay in this pack. She has kindness in her heart, its just she reminds me so much of THEM..." Halgea talked on until passing out again. Frost stood up and walked over to Halgea. "We should move her soon." She started licking Halgea's wound for a couple seconds, then grabbed her by the scruff and started dragging her away. Slowly. A leaf wafted down and landed nearby. Frost blew it away. She again thought about Exousia. If it's and unknown pack, what's going to happen on Kongrai? Well, along with the fact that there are humans and that winter is coming. And an injured pack member. There was always the option of going to one of the small islands. There would be enough room for a pack of four. But that would be if there was no other choice. Oh boy, dragging a full grown wolf is hard wolf. I'm going to have a good run after this.

A cool breeze drifted through the lands, causing Kishi's fur to stand slighty on end as the sudden coldness of the air hit her skin. Night was swiftly drawing in, and she knew the temperature would plummet from the nice, warmish Autumn day, to what would feel like freezing cold. The femme listened patietly to her pack members exchange of tense words. Halgea spoke of this pack, 'Exousia' as though she knew of them well, and Kishi listened to her curiously, more interested in the fact that she knew whom they were, over what she was saying to Frost. She'd learned to be incredibly patient with her pack, not letting what they said annoy her, and allowing them to sort things out between themselves. The fae did her best to keep out of their little spats, using her time to ensure her pack was safe. So long as no harm was heading their way, Kishi was content with life.
Shade, however, didn't seem to take it so lightly. He padded angrily up to his betan, staring into her eyes, and snapping irritated words at her. 'I'm sorry kishi but im not going to stand by while this goes down, we need all the members we can get right now the Exousia can handle themselves. Helgea i respect that you've done alot of stuff for this pack, and that you are a beta but sending a member that we need to a pack we know nothing about is just stupid and short-sighted.' Kishi understood that he had good intensions at heart, but for some reason, she found that this Brute really knew how to get under he nerves recently. Whether it was destined that the pair could never get along properly, or mating season was running riots over her hormones, she was unsure, all she knew was that his comment annoyed her.
'"I never sent her anywhere. I was just telling her about the Exousia... Don't think she knew. But she should stay in this pack. She has kindness in her heart, its just she reminds me so much of THEM.' Halgea retorted, holding her ground until again passing out. Frost was quickly by her side, saying she should be moved. Kishi nodded, "We'll take her to Zestos lake, she can stay in the birthing cave for now." The femme then looked directly at Shade, "When she wakes up, I want no more pointless bickering between the two of you, understood?" Without waiting for a response, she moved to assist Frost in carrying the heavy Betan.
ooc: Shall we move this to the other board now, or did you want to carry it on here for a bit?

The brute seemed to scoff at his beta then looked to the sky, Everything he had said was the truth and either she had meant to offend him or not, honestly shade didn't care his mind and judgement were still clouded by the urge to mate. just like any other brute that called kongrai home during this season. his words may of seemed hostile but he always had the safety of the pack in mind. he would never speak up unless it put the pack or someone he cared about into mortal danger. Shade slowly stepped up pushing the two faes gently away as he moved under the fallen wolf and positioned himself so that she was fully on his back with very little chances of falling off. As he forced himself off the ground, his paw being pushed deeper into the earth due to the added weight, but other then that it didn't seem to bother him.
"When she wakes up, I want no more pointless bickering between the two of you, understood?"
This made the brute chuckle softly as he slowly started on the journey toward the cave. "Just call me.. mr. bright-side" shade said as he winked back at his alphess in a playful manor. but that would all come to a halt as the great horned owl known as Cheen flew into the area and dive-bombed the brute's head before pulling up mere seconds from impact. "What the hell cheen!" the brute yelled out in anger as he stared at the owl that landed two feet in front of him.
"I'm sorry shade but i needed to get your attention!" the owl replied almost out of breathe, he inhaled deeply before sighing, he paced back and forth for abit before looking back at the wolf known as shade then he looked away again, "the fae is right.. humans are indeed here.. but.." cheen said as he looked at his master with a very concerned look in his eyes. " they already have a nest, or a cave, or what ever you'd call it!". the bird was clearly very upset as he continued to pace back and forth shaking his head.
This news made the brute's eyes widen and made him gasp, almost knocking the fae off his back but he quickly re-positioned himself then stared at the ground. "my alphess.. our problem..is alot bigger then we first thought..". the brute fully turned to face his alphess, the look of concern was clear on his face as he stared at her. anyone could tell by the way the brute stood and from the look in his eye, that something was very bad.

The femme took a small step back as Shade moved his large body forward to pick his unconscious Betan up, saying something jokily as he did so that made the Alphess role her eyes. Behind her composed figure, however, the fae found herself panicking thoroughly. Humans had been here! Was this the end of it, or were their more? What if their were more, residing in her packlands, what would she do then? That would put the Xyla in a whole lot of danger, more danger than they have ever been in before, even when Kione had taken over the pack. Would she move them all out of the packlands, find somewhere else to live, or stay here and fight?
Fighting would put lives at great risk, and loved members were sure to die. That was definitely something she did not want to have to do. Maybe, if worse came to worse, she would have to move, even if she did not want to. These lands were her home, and she loved them, but if they became a threat to the lives of her pack; she wouldn't hesitate to leave.
Kishi was bought back to reality again when Shade let out an outraged yell, and she looked up just in time to see an Owl flapping away from his head, and the landing on the ground infront of him. The femme glanced quickly in Frosts direction, eyebrow raised, a question on her face as she watched the bird, confused, but then realised what was going on. Shade must have one of those 'Opakti' things she'd heard so much of, just like her brother, with his creepy Raven type bird! Gosh, that was exciting. She watched what seemed to be some sort of silent conversation being exchanged between the pair, intrigued, until the Brute looked up at her, a grave look on his face. 'my alphess.. our problem..is alot bigger then we first thought..'
The very words she had been dreading to hear; ones that bought fear to the centre of her heart. So her pack was in danger still. Still, she kept herself calm and composed, her eyes switching to Frost to see her reaction, and make sure she was still with them, and then back to Shade, before lowering to the Owl. "Ask him where, where are they? And how many?"
ooc: Not too many humans please.

The brute nodded and looked back at cheen, as he sighed abit before speaking. "How many and where exactly are they".the owl looked around then at the fae that stood near his master, then he glanced over at the brute a sighed abit as well. "Besides the two you killed.. there are atleast five others and there just a few miles north of here..". this was exactly what the brute did not want to hear, the enemy was alot closer then he would like and he was sure that his alphess wouldn't like it, instead of scaring the rest of the pack, the brute slowly made his way over to his alphess. as he slowly leaned over to her right ear as he whispered into it, repeating exactly what his owl had told him,
He then stepped back and looked at her, his eyes full of questions but he remained silent allowing her to absorb everything that he had just told her. either way this was very bad and they needed to move now but he knew kishi had never seen a human so she wouldn't know them if she saw them, he sighed and laid his betan down by the shaman then looked at his alphess, he then spoke softly. "come with me.. this is something you need to see to fully understand".. and with that the brute turned and walked toward the forest toward the humans. he was pretty sure that his alphess's hunger for information would cause her to follow him.
He looked over at his shaman and spoke in a calming tone, "We'll be back soon.. just watch after her". he then pushed though the plant life and disappeared into the surrounding forest. but he didn't go to far as he awaited his alphess to join him on his trip. he completely put her lovely scent out of his mind though it was a very hard thing to due especially since the shaman and the betan also were putting out an intriguing scent. but this was strictly business and there was no time for pleasure.

Kishi was a curious wolf; she enjoyed learning, exploring, seeing new things. She had many questions regarding the world, many of which would probably never be answered, and so watching Shade having a silent conversation with his Owl came as a big interest to her. But when the male enquired that she come with him in reponse to her question, the Alphess could only assume that he was going to show her these humans in person, and it excited her like nothing before. The presence of these creatures in her lands was a worry, but it also intrigued her. She'd never seen one before, only knew what they were from the stories her parents had told her and Kaija as small pups. She wanted to see them in real life, to know what they looked like, how they acted, how they smelt, and most importatly, to know why everybody seemed to be so scared of them.
The Alphes looked to her Shaman, feeling slightly guilty for leaving her by herself with the fallen Betan, but was comforted by the knowledge that Frost was a grown, powerful wolf. She knew how to look after herself, and how to look after the sick Helgea. The oportunity to see such creatures, however, was too much, and her curiosness got the better of her. "We'll head for the dens after this. See you there?" Kishi nodded goodbye to her two packmates, even though one was unconscious, and then bounded through the undergrowth after Shade, excitement running through her mind.
She wasn't afraid, for some reason. The femme found it impossible to fear something she had never faced; an opinion that had probably ensured her survival those years she had travelled alone. If she was honest, the only thing she did fear, was a certain wolf; the same wolf who still managed to haunt her dreams, and was the centre of her nightmares. He was dead now, though. She'd been there. Watched him die at the jaws of Senna. There was no way he could come back now, and she knew that. Pushing those thoughts from her mind, Kishi slowed her pace as she became level with Shade, following him eagerly to see what it was he had to show her.

The brute's concerned look finally seemed to fade, as he heard his alphess following him as he looked back. A soft smile had actually returned to his maw, for quite some time all his pack had seen from the brute was his concern and his anger. but that had seemingly all changed as he was once again alone with his alphess. even if he was smiling it was clear that he had not forgotten about the 'invaders'. "I didn't want to say anything back there, but.. between zentha and the humans..". the brute said without warning, as he looked at his alphess. " We're clearly out-numbered and i highly doubt the skyla will come to our aid.". the brute slowed down and walked beside the fae as he whispered into her ear. "Don't worry.. i'd die before anyone touches you".
he then looked forward at his opakti that had landed on a branch not to far in front of the pair, the look in the brute's eyes told the whole story,"Get out of here and watch over the others!". the brute's voice yelled inside the owl's head, and just like that the owl flew off toward the direction of the rest of the pack after muttering something under his breath, not that he'd have the guts to tell his master what he had said anyway. after all Cheen was a scout and was only meant to gather information not to fight!. especially not to fight a brute the size and experience that shade posses.
As he watched the owl fly off, the brute then turned his attention back to the femme that was walking beside him, as he gently gave her a reassuring nudge with his maw, his eyes seemed abit softer and he seemed abit less aggressive when he was around Kishi, if it was anyone else he would be in the lead and barking out orders, demanding them to keep up or to pick up the pace. but for some reason this fae seemed to get a very special treatment from the warrior. but shade couldn't tell if it was just because she was the alphess or if it was because he wanted to be considered for the positison of her mate some day, either way he would give his life to protect her no matter what, either he became alpha or not he didn't care as long as kishi was happy, he was happy.

The floor was littered with dried up, orange coloured leaves, reflecting the last of the days warm sun as it made its way out of the sky. The excitement Kishi was feeling showed in her actions, as the red furred far found herself swapping between a steady paced pad, to an occasional leap of happiness, as though she was still a mere pup. She followed her dark coloured warrior through the dense trees, ears standing to their fullest attention when he spoke. 'I didn't want to say anything back there, but.. between zentha and the humans..We're clearly out-numbered and i highly doubt the skyla will come to our aid.' The red wolf though about what he said, finally admitting to herself that he was indeed correct. They were definitely outnumbered, what with the member count of her pack being a grand total of .. four. Gosh, he needed to expand her family. The more members of pack contained, the less danger they were in. Those were the rules. She was glad her pups had left, though. If they'd been here, she would have been freaking out over their safety. No doubt, she would've got her pack, upped, and left the territory. And although they were family, Kishi couldn't trust her brother and his pack to come to their aid, if need be. They'd done it once before, had saved the lives of all of the Xyla members, and so she couldn't expect them to do it again.
'Don't worry.. i'd die before anyone touches you.' Memories of the conversation the pair had had before the rest of the pack had arrived flooded to Kishis mind. If wolves could blush, her face would've been a crimson red right now. He'd said he loved her. He'd actually said that, and for a few seconds, the femme found herself considering him as a mate. He was caring, and protective. Two things that being a good mate depended on. Plus, she definitely enjoyed being around him, and he'd most likely make a good father, too. But he was also incredibly hot headed, and she had known him not to think before running off and getting himself into danger. No. She shouldn't be thinking things like this. Especially when her pack was in such a danger. Besides, she couldn't even be sure that such feelings weren't just due to mating season taking a grip, on both their accounts.
The Alphess smiled at him, raising an eyebrow playfully. He nudged her softly, and she bounded forward a few steps. "Come on then!" She said with a grin, eager to get through these trees and see these 'humans' for herself. Issues with her pack, and with him, could wait. Right now, the main thing she wanted, was to fulfill her curious nature.

"Come on then!"
This outburst made the brute look at Kishi with a grin, he could tell that she was very excited to get her first view of the soon to be enemy. But shade knew that she would not like what he had to show her, Then again why spoil her fun?.. "Okay okay we're going". He said as they marched further into the thick woods that surounded the river, unlike himself kishi's smaller frame allowed her to duck under and swerve around the plant life alot easier then her larger warrior. not that he really cared but every once and awhile a branch or vine would smack him in the nose. which did annoy the brute as he let out a soft growl then shook his head after every impact. deep in his mind he knew that Kishi had to be loving this, being able to slip under and move quicker then her warrior and she got to witness him take a soft beating from time to time.
The hessian made his way though the forest with his lovely partner. as they neared where his guardian had informed him of, Shade seeming to grin as he spotted a crashed human transport. he quickly realized it was the same one that had carried a third human off earlier that day, he gently nudged his alphess then motioned to the totaled wreck. " We're on the right path.. it shouldn't be to long now". All the joy had left his tone and it was clear that shade had gone from enjoying her company to being protective warrior once more. A stare that usually got the brute in more trouble then he could handle but not this time, This was his chance to prove that he could be a good mate in the future. if he ever wanted to be with her this was his chance to prove that he could control himself that he could resist getting into a fight. This time wasn't about a strike this was a simple scouting mission, and even though the brute loved to kill he would have to hold off and just wait until his alphess decided it was time to strike or if they would just retreat.
The brute moved past the wreck and no soon had he done so, A new scent invaded his snout, this scent was not wolf but it was close...very close.. shade knew this could mean trouble if he was correct, the scent belonged to a dog a very close cousin of the wolf. if the dogs detected them then shade would have no choice but to convince his alphess that they had to retreat, "This is not good.." the brute said suddenly as he turned his head toward the fae. "Mask your scent..now..". he knew that she was hard-headed but hopifully she would realize that he was only trying to protect her, as he began to mask his own scent by rubbing on the ground and trees. replacing his scent with theirs.

The femme had to contain her amusement, hearing soft thumps and then growls from behind her as Shade walked through the forest, failing to dodge various objects, when she had slipped around them with ease. Kishi laughed lightly, but continued to trot forward, new scents emerging into the air, scents that intrigued her to keep going. Amongst these strange aromas was the faint smell of smoke, which worried the fae for a few seconds, before she decided it wasn't strong enough to be a problem. The plant life began to ease down gradually, until the pair came out into a small patch of land, clear of trees. And smack bang in the middle of it, was the strangest thing Kishi had ever seen.
'We're on the right path.. it shouldn't be to long now.' The Alphess glanced at the muscular Warrior, and then cautiously padded towards the large, messed up thing. Her mind buzzed as she gazed at it, questions erupting out of no where. What was it? Where had it come from? What was it for? Was it alive? It was large, and white, and looked sort of .. mangled. Was this the thing Halgea had called a .. what was the word .. a 'plane'? Well, whatever it was, it amazed Kishi. She approached it even more, sniffing at the white material, breathing in all of the strange scents that accompanied the thing. The femme was about to clamber up onto it, to take a better look at the situation, when Shades alarmed voice came loudly out of the silence.
'This is not good.. Mask your scent..now!' Curious, Kishi padded over to where the Brute stood, heart pounding in anticipation to whatever it was that was making him nervous. As he started to roll around on the ground, apparently trying to 'mask' his scent, she took a deep sniff in, focusing on all of the scents, and then singling one particular scent out. It was strange, smelt much like a wolf; except their was something odd about it.. something different. Was this the humans? No, it wasn't the same scent that both Halgea and Shade had carried when they had gotten too close to these 'demons'.
A low growl rumbled in her throat as she waited, ignoring her Warriors command, in anticipation to whatever this creature was. Suddenly, accompanied by lots of high pitched 'bark' noises, a four legged, wolf-like thing bounded out of the trees, running straight at them, teeth bared. Kishi yelped in surprise, tail rising in a show of dominance. She growled, readying herself into a defensive position, as the creature grew closer and closer.

The brute got up as soon he heard the pounding thuds of the approaching creature, sensing danger. wasting no time the brute counter-charged the would-be-foe as a show of dominance. of course if was only a mock charge, this time atleast as shade quickly sidestepped his opponent and kicked him in the side, causing the creature to loose its balance for a couple of seconds, he then pinned the creature then looked over at his alphess with a sly grin on his snout. "This is why i warned you". though the brute had gotten this advantage because the 'dog' had been focusing on his alphess and he didn't know what the dog had in mind and clearly, they were not going to get any answers from him as he looked back down at the dog who was now snarling and snapping at his face. He then looked back at his alphess as he chuckled softly. "Is that enough excitement for you? your highness?".
Shade didn't know if this was test for him by kishi or not, either way he'd be damned if he let this lesser creature harm his alphess. even if she didn't wish to be his mate it didn't matter he'd still defend her til his dieing day, even if she tried to command him to run away, to save himself he would not do it, that would be one of the only times that he would willingly disobey his alphess. if her life was at risk he would not leave her side at all. even if it meant he had to die then so be it.
"So what do we do with our lil friend here?". the brute then pressed down abit harder on the dog's side as he felt the creature trying to get up, he stared at his alphess awaiting her answer. even though they could not afford to be the ones to start the war between wolves and humans, especially if it meant spilling the blood of a relative to do so.he looked do at the dog and wondered why it had decided to attack when they clearly had out-numbered it and he was clearly faster and stronger due to the need to hunt and patrol instead of being taken care of by the humans. in his opinion this creature was a disgrace but he would not lower himself and give this creature the honor of dieing like a wolf.

Watching with interest as Shade met the wolf-things attack with a lunge to its side, pinning it down and then looking back to her with a grin, Kishi padded over to them. 'This is why i warned you. Is that enough excitement for you? your highness?' She grinned at his words, watching him for a minute before turning her attention back to the wolf-creature. "What is it?" The femme asked excitedly, sniffing its face, and then looking back to her Warrior, feeling like a learning pup again.
She breathed in again, taking in all of the scents, paying particular attention to any that seemed similar to that of this wolf-creature. But their were none, from what she could tell. She could smell strange things, mixed in with the scents of her pack, and the strongest scent that was Shade. 'So what do we do with our lil friend here?' Well, that certainly was a question she did not know the answer to. Kishi stared at the creature, watching it snap and bark, struggling to get out from under the large Brutes grip. For a moment, she pitied the creature, the way it tried so frantically. "Erm, I don't know.. Will it attack if you let it go?"

"What is it?" The brute simply chuckled softly at her question.he then glanced back down at their 'guest' as he yawned slightly, shaking his head from side to side, "This poor creature is actually very close to us, family wise anyway" the brute said as he looked back at his alphess."Only unlike us or any other wolf, he lacks the will..the drive to be free, they depend on the humans, their ability to hunt.. is gone, the humans call them dogs". shade then pushed his alphess back abit, as the dog snapped at her but thanks to the brute's push the dog was unable to make contact with the fae, instead it sunk its teeth into the brute's leg, as he snarled and countered the bite with a swift hard kick to the dog's head, which caused the creature to release.A mere two seconds later shade heard his alphess's voice ring out again.
"Erm, I don't know.. Will it attack if you let it go?"
The large male looked over once more at his smaller partner, a sly grin on his maw he now realized that kishi was like a pup learning how to hunt for the first time, and he was her teacher wow.. were the roles reversed here, normally it was kishi trying to teach her warrior to be 'less' aggressive and more open-minded. but now he had a chance to teach her something, he knew something she didn't!.. this fact just made the brute grin more even if it was in a playful manor, his grin could still creep alot of inexperinced wolves out, but surely kishi had seen him grin enough times to not be phased by it, "I hate to say it but if i let him up then the chances are he will attack, as far as he is concerned we are the enemy"
