The sun was shining the birds were singing. A gentle breeze made its way though the land. As the brute known as Shade slowly stood up from his resting place. Trying to shake the feeling of sleep as he looked around the area.He tenderly took his first steps forward. Crushing the dew-covered grass beneath his pads. He took in a deep breathe of the fresh crisp air. Feeling the warm sun on his back. there was no doubt in his mind that today was going to be a great day indeed.
"Such a lovely day" Shade said stepping into the shadow of a nearby oak tree. His ears perked up taking in any and every sound around him. his tail slowly swaying back and forth behind himself as he watched the small insects fly around just above the ground before him. He chuckled softly as he laid down to watch them more. Not really in a hurry to go hunt or anything else so early in the morning.
Soon enough he felt his eye lids getting heavy. As he struggled to stay awake he shook his head in an attempt to fight it off. He slowly stood up to prevent himself from falling to sleep."Dang its so peaceful i nearly fell back to sleep" He said chuckling softly to himself. He slowly padded away from the tree. Heading toward the near by lake to get a drink. As he approached the lake he saw a school of fish going crazy but thought nothing of it. He leaned down lapping up the refreshing liquid with his light pink tongue. A few moments passed before he decided to walk away.

It had been so long since she had last practiced her hunting techniques! And heck, what better way for her to do so, than stalking another wolf? She was good at it, of course, for how else was she supposed to protect and care for her pack, but it wouldn't hurt to practice, now would it? With a slight grin, Kishi padded slowly through the trees surrounding the lake, careful to keep to the shadows.
It was early, half of the Island probably still sleeping, and rather quiet. Unusually quiet, in fact. But that was to be expected, what with the recent temperatures hitting Kongrai. Still, she'd expected to see more life down by the lake, it was usually the most inhabited part of the Xyla lands.
The Alphess took a shallow breath, watching the dark wolf before her as he crouched, taking a drink from the lake side. Ohoo, the opportunities were endless! She could bound out right now and 'pounce' on him, throwing them both into the shallow lake. She didn't, though. Not yet, anyway. It would've been very unwise to waste so much energy so early in the morning, especially when she knew what to expect later on in the day, weather-wise. Kishi loved this time of year, she really did, but the temperatures were getting ridiculous! She'd never seen the Island get so hot, nor had she seen it as cold as it had been the Winter last gone. That truly had been a dreadful time.
For now, the Fae was quite content with practicing her 'stalking,' and so went on to follow the Brute quietly as he padded off.
(I'm going about this as if she already knows him, and he is part of the pack. If you wanted to start from scratch, and get him accepted into the Xyla, just drop me a PM and I'll edit it ^^)
(oh, and happy birthday!)

(Nah that's fine and Thanks) {Blue=Thought Green= speech}
The sun's heat had doubled if not tripled since the time he had awaken. He shook out his fur softly as he looked up to the sky. His ears still in attention from before. Shade had a feeling he was being watched but could not pin-point the direction it was coming from. But this did not stop him from looking around he has always hated being watched.
He followed the insects just above the ground with his eyes. They seemed to fly in a larger circle then usual around a near by tree." Who ever it is... must be there" . He then slowly turned and walked toward the aforementioned tree. But something made him stop and think.. "wait.. why approach from the front?.". He then turned and ran as fast as he could into the nearby woods trying to flank who ever was spying on him.
As he closed in on the area he thought the stalker was, He slowed down into a prowl and lowered his body to the ground.

Kishi shifted her stance uncomfortably, the heat from the intense sun glaring down on the small clearing. It was making her sweat unbearably under her fur, and the past idea of launching into the shallow lake suddenly felt very desirable. The Fae subtly shook her head, causing any similar ideas to evaporate rapidly. She locked her eyes back onto the Brute, squinting through the suns glare to try and get a better look. It was Shade. Yes, she could tell quite planely now. His pitch black fur was quite a givaway, and Kishi pondered for moment how she had not recognised him immediately. I'm going to have to start paying more attention to my pack members. She thought scoldingly to herself.
With the grin still in place, the Alphess watched as the Brute stopped walking, apparently aware of her presence. She froze as his eyes wandered her way, but turned her head away for a few seconds when a slight movement to her left caught her attention. Kishi stared into the trees for a few minor seconds, and then turned her auds back toward Shade.
He was gone.
Damn. This was why she needed practice! If she had been hunting for real, and Shade had been a nice big Deer, or Hare, or something worth eating, she'd have lost him! That would've meant no dinner for the Xyla. Which meant hugry wolves. Which meant weakened pack. Which spelled nothing but trouble. She scanned the area thoroughly, only to see nothing. Where'd he gone?! The Fae padded out from behind the trees, towards the lake, and did another survey. Nothing moved, except the odd flying insect. Kishi sat with her back to the water, watching the area suspiciously.

The brute slowly stopped running sweating unbearably under his thick fur but he was sure that he had out-smarted his would be stalker. He slowly continued on his path completely backtracking around his stalker. but as he picked up his would be stalkers scent. His eyes widened a bit as he thought "it couldn't be.. could it?.. why would she stalk me?..". He shook his head trying to shake the thought. As he continued to stalk toward his would be stalker but just then a something rustled the bushes beside him.
He glanced over to see what it was but he couldn't see anything but the plant life. He kept his body close to the ground to try and hide from his stalker as he moved toward the scent. But just as before something rustled the bushes again. This time shade choose to ignore the disturbance. The closer he got to the Strange stalker the more the bushes seemed to rustle. A familiar scent now filling the air. He paused for a moment to sniff the heated air trying to figure out the scent, Trying to put a name to the scent but creeped foward slowly but surely toward the scent.
He shook his head thinking "What am i afraid of i am a proud warrior of the Xyla pack!". And with that he dashed out of the woods. running straight toward his would be stalker his claws tearing up the ground under him. But when he spotted who the wolf was he slammed on his brakes. Sliding toward her kicking up dirt. As he ended up mere inches away from his alphess. "Uhh.. hi"

It seemed her 'target' had disappeared into nothing. Kishi sighed, poking her paw into the cool water, and watching as the fragmented surface sent ripples across the glistening lake. The water line was low, but thankfully, that wasn't a worry. The lake belonged to her and her pack, so they needn't share it with any straying wolves. Although she probably would allow it, if the situation arose. Yes, if a weakened, sunbaked wolf were to wander into the clearing right now, she'd most likely make sure they were healthy again, before asking questions about why they were here. It was in her nature to do so. The way she was. Quite a contrast to Kaija, she mused to herself with a frown.
The femme took one last look around the lake, making one last half hearted attempt at spotting Shade, before lowering her head and taking a long drink from the salty water. It was refreshing, but seemingly made no difference to the temperature. Kishi raised her head slightly, following the fish darting about beneath the water surface with her eyes. How hard would it be to catch one, right here? She was certainly fairly hungry, and it would appear that all the big pray animals had gone.. perhaps died from the heat, or something? They weren't the biggest of fish, though, and probably wouldn't serve as much of a meal. More of a waste of precious energy, really.
A sudden outburst of noise made the Alphess look up, and for a second she thought she was under attack. Another second and she'd have leaped up, teeth and claws at the ready. Thankfully, she recognized who it was, hurtling toward her. And he seemed to recognize who she was, too, for he dug his paws into the ground, attempting to slow down. He stopped, mere inches from her, sending dirt from the floor into the air as he did so. Kishi adopted a calm stance, trying to hide the laugh that was threatening from the sight of the somewhat sheepish look now on his face. "Uhh.. hi.' The Fae cocked an eyebrow, observing her pack Warrior as he stood in front of her. "Why, Shade! Were you stalking me?" She said, with a mock stern look covering her facial features.

Her question made him laugh softly before responding to his alphess. "With all do respect my alpha.. you were stalking me". He bowed down to her out of respect but a sly grin remained on his muzzle. He would slowly walk in a small circle around that of his leader. Never taking his eyes off of her.He slowly lowered himself to the ground. The sun still baking the surrounding area. But to his surprise the insects didn seem to be effected by the heat.
He chuckled to himself amazed by their surrounding by all the insect life despite the heat. they seemed completely un-phased by it in the least. He shook his head once more returning his attention back to that of his alpha. Still awaiting her response to his question. The sun was some what right over head of the area now. But shade remained in his spot looking at his alpha.
Shifting ever once and awhile from side to side trying to get comfortable while awaiting the answer. He yawned softly before glancing back up at his alpha laying his head down on the now warm ground. He was trying not to be rude and really wanted to listen to his alpha but the heat was starting to get to him.

'With all due respect my alpha .. you were stalking me.' Kishi smiled at the Brute in front of her, suddenly realising just how much she had missed having somebody around to talk too. The lands had been so quiet recently, and the once thriving pack had dwindled down into single numbers. This worried her immensly, being under the illusion that if the other two packs got wind of the situation, she'd have real trouble keeping the lands under the claim of her pack. Having to deal with both the Skyla and the Liazo was definitely not something she wanted to put the pack through. Even the pups had gone, venturing off by themselves to start their own lives elsewhere. True, they weren't really pups anymore, but still, god she hoped they were okay.
Yes, she was glad she'd found company again. With the pack so small, and the lands being so big, it had been a long time since she had last spoken to anybody, or even seen another fully grown wolf. She wasn't even sure who was still here, and who wasn't. Bringing up a litter of pups without the help of Karn had taken alot of work and energy, atleast now she would have more time to focus on doing what she did best; caring for her pack. The Alphess blinked, not allowing the sadness that was lingering in the back of her mind overlap onto her face.
The Femmes eyes followed Shade as he walked in a circle, seemingly fascinated by the pesky flies that seemed to have erupted out of nothing with the dry warmth in the air. He lay down, apparently uncomfortable with the temperature of the sun. She had to admit, it was getting unbarably hot, sat here. "And you completely messed up my hopes of hunting practice, what a shame." She answered with a toothy grin, attention shifting to the shimmering water for a second, eyes following the fish, glittering in the sunlight, before back to Shade. "Perhaps we should find somewhere slightly more covered to sit?" She asked politely, before padding slowly in the direction of a large, wide-branched tree, glancing back once to see if he was following.

"Sure". He said slowly getting up as he followed after his alpha slowly He glanced over at the lake for a bit to watch the fish . He then turned back and snorted softly shaking out his fur to shake any and all dirt from it. After they had walked for awhile he glanced up spotting the tree. They were walking toward a sly grin forming onto his muzzle kind of exsposing his pearly white canines.
He glanced down as he went to take another step but just then decided to stop mid-step. As a dragonfly seemed to fly under then around his paw. He was amazed by its free spirit and lack of fear.Shade thought for a moment "Its life could end at any moment but it does not seem to worry or even care". He shook his head and simplely moved his paw slightly to the left. As he continued to follow his alpha.
As they reached the tree he walked around the tree twice to insure that the area. Was indeed safe for him and his alpha to rest and it was was already cooler under the shade of the massive tree. He then came to a rest laying down beside his alpha. letting out a relieved sigh but one question still bugged him. It wasn't about anything that had happened that day.
He looked up at his alpha a puzzled look on his face. As if he was trying to figure out a way to phrase the question. But he then looked away from her for a moment. Glancing back at the near by lake. He then sighed again and spoke without looking at her. "If its not to much to ask what happened to the rest of the pack?.."

Kishi didn't really need to look back to make sure he was following. She knew he would, even without checking, out of respect for his Alpha. It was the way things worked, and to be honest, she was quite happy with that. They came across the large tree, and both wolves seemed to almost sink into the ground. The warrior let out a sigh of relief, and Kishi guessed he was thankful for the Shade the tree provided. As was she. That was when he asked the very same question that had been nibbling away at her mind.
'If its not to much to ask, what happened to the rest of the pack?..' She sighed, and sound of both sadness and confusion, as again she came to wonder whether she'd have done a better job of caring for her pack if she'd still had Karn by her side. The femme lowered her head to rest on her legs, gazing out across the area solumnly. "I don't know, shade. I can only assume that they all died during the Winter. It was a pretty bad one." She blinked, shifting slightly and raising her head to look at the Brute. "Your the first wolf I've seen in a long time. We can only hope the other packs don't decide to attack. Especially the Skyla." Yes, an attack from her brother and his mate, Senna, would be a very bad situation to deal with.

Oh... Shade said softly as he then looked toward the ground, letting yet another sigh escape his lips. His ears laying back against his head as he thought about his lost comrades. But just then seemingly for no reason. A dragonfly light blue in color landed on his right front paw.
He looked down at the small insect and could not help but smile his tail started to swaying a bit lightly smacking against the tree. just then the dragon fly lifted itself off of his paw using its wings to seemingly hover in mid-air for just a moment before landing on that of his alpha's nose.
Shade couldn't hold in his laughter as he rolled onto his back.Laughing as hard as he could at the thought of the insect on his leaders nose.

It was actually quite relaxing, lying there under the shade of the big Oak, in the company of another Xyla member, and 'Kishi was surprised to find herself feeling very tired. All of her energy seemed to have dissapeared into nothing, and the femme could no longer be bothered with the idea of perhaps going hunting, or scouting around the edge of her lands, making sure everything was in order. She would have to, though. It was her duty. One she normally enjoyed.
'Oh..' It appeared that Shade had no idea what had happened to the rest of the pack, either, and yet again 'Kishi found herself wishing Karn was still here. He would've known what to do, in the given situation. She couldn't, however, spend all her time dwelling over that, so instead, she distracted herslf by watching as a fairly large flying insect landed down on Shades paw. He did not seem to mind, though, as his tail began to sway softly. After a second, the Dragonfly lifted off of his paw, only to land on the end of her nose.
The Red Wolf scrunched her nose up at the tickling sensation it provided, watching the creature curiously, before sneezing, and sending the Dragonfly buzzing back into the air. She watched it hover, before turning her focus onto Shade again. "So, tell me, what happened to you, over the cold season? I don't recall seeing you around much." Kishi asked curiously, her head once again raised to attention.

He looked at her before smiling softly."Well its funny you ask. it was not easy i can tell you that much". He went on to fill his alphess in on everything that had happened to him. Though the course of the winter completely forgetting about the blistering heat for a few moment. He stared deep into her eyes but then shook his head and looked away.
As he then laid his head down on the ground. as he yawned softly slowly closing his eyes. it was clear that almost all his energy was gone as well. It had to be the calming effect that the tree seemingly had over himself and his alphess but it wasn't like shade was complaining or anything.
By all means he was alone under a beautiful tree with a very beautiful fae in his mind nothing could be better. Well besides hunting a huge elk or deer but seeing how he was so drained he couldn't be bothered to even stand up at the moment.

'Well its funny you ask. it was not easy i can tell you that much.' Sitting back on her haunches, and shifting into the most comfortable of positions, 'Kishi allowed herself to be lost into his story. He certainly had been through alot, and it seemed that, most probably like every other wolf on the Island, even the great Xyla warrior had struggled. As he spoke, she could picture the scenes he described, the snow covered fields, the frozen lake, the terrible blizzards that never seemed to end, only to well. Of course she could, she'd seen them all too. The Alphess listened to his tale curiously, the sunlight bringing out the hidden reddish tone to her fur.
When he had finished, she thought she had caught him staring. It looked as though he was in a trance, or something. But then, when she blinked, the moment was gone, and he was back to gazing across the lake. The femme scolded herself silently. She was an Alphess, and those sorts of thought would not be tolerated. Besides, she still missed Karn to much to even consider thinking about that. 'Kishi settled down next to Shade, keeping her head up so she could still see across her land, incase anything interesting happened. Her mind drifted off to the other packs. Were they still alive? Was her brother even still alive? Before Winter, the Skyla pack had been thriving. The Alphess, her brothers mate Senna, had even been pregnant! But now? The sudden cold spell would have taken its toll on the other packs, that was a given, but just how badly had it affected them? Perhaps Kaija had done a better job of caring for his family then she herself had?
"Do you think the other packs are still alive?" She asked suddenly, out of the blue. This thought that had taken over her mind scared her. Sure, the Skyla were a bloodthirsty group, and Kishi feared the day they would decide to expand their lands, but Kaija was still her brother. And no matter how cruel he was, she did not have it in her to wish death upon him, or his family. And the Liazo? Well, that was just a different topic altogether! They were no better than the Skyla, really. They were the ones who caused all the rivalry trouble. But still, that was what made Kongrai .. kongrai. The Island would not be the same without them.

The brute was unable to respond to his alphess. It was not out of disrespect or that he had ignored her question. He had just fallen to sleep almost completely drained of his energy. A soft mumble came from his snout but it was to scrambled to be understood. His tail was lightly thumping the ground. signaling that he was having a pleasant dream. as he mumbled softly again this time it was a little clearer then before. "I..i.." . His leg twitched a bit as he rolled onto his left side. A smile on his muzzle.
As he kicked abit more before laying still once more. He looked so peaceful when he was not trying to kill something. Which if anyone knew shade at all, He always loved to kill especially Rival wolves. Who have strayed onto his pack's territory. Shade started to mumble something again this time it was almost as clear as day. "I...i..like you..kishi". The sad thing is he had no idea just how close his alphess had been.
It was clear that if he had known he would never of said what he did. But then again life works in strange ways it always has on Kongrai and everything has seemed to work out so far. The sun continued to bake the surrounding area but the two wolves were safe under the tree. For the time being at least.

'Kishi yawned, waiting for her answer patiently, to which the question being still nibbling away at her mind. What if the packs had died off? Were their actually any wolves left on the Island? The scent of Canine certainly wasn't as thick as it used to be, and the soft breeze bought along nothing but the smell of woodland, and Shade. The Brute lying next to her still had not answered her question, and when the Mexican femme looked down at him, it became clear why. He'd fallen asleep! 'Kishi watched him, lying their with his eyes closed, leg twitching every now and then. Was he dreaming? Her suspisions were confirmed as he rolled to the left, legs twitching again. Yes, he was chasing something!
The Alphess watched him for a few seconds, curious as to what he would do next, before resting her head on her own front paws, ears flattened in a relaxed position. Shade had gone still next to her, and so for the next couple of minutes, she lay with her eyes closed, listening to the soft sounds of the lake, that inevitable question still running through her mind. Still worrying her. Were the other packs still alive?
Ears pricked at the gentle sound of Shades mumbling, listening to his words becoming clearer and clearer. 'I...i..like you..kishi' 'Kishis entire body froze, the sudden need to keep him asleep, to not wake the Brute up, the most important task in her head. Had she just heard correctly? What exactly had he meant by like? What sort of like?! Her eyes flew open, and glassed over, gazing out across the lake, but staring at nothing and she went over what she'd just heard. Her heart paced faster, out of confusion, panick, and pure adrenaline. But for now, she would lay on the grass, in the warmth, pretending she had heard nothing.

The brute was still unaware that the alphess could hear him clearly. As he continued to sleep and dream rolling completely onto his back now. All four of his paws in the air but folded down close to his body for protection. he seemingly started to laugh and roll around as if he were being licked. As he mumbled more "c-c-cut it out that tickles!". He rolled over again but this time he stopped laughing.
As he started to mumble softly. "Kishi will you..." .he seemingly gasped and woke up before he finished the sentance. He blinked softly looking at his alphess who looked like she had just seen a ghost. He gently nuzzled the side of her neck in an attempt to get her attention. He waited for her to look over in his direction because he wanted to know what he had missed out on.
As strange as it was five minutes ago the place was blistering hot. But now there was a warm breeze blowing past. As shade smiled slightly at the breeze. It may of been warm but at least it was blowing which kind of helped him cool down as well as the shade protected him and his alphess from the sun.
The fact that she had heard him mumbling in his sleep. Could his secret crush be found out?. Shade was completely baffled by his alphess's appearance he glanced around the clearing to try and spot what had spooked her but saw nothing. He soon gave up as he failed to notice anything or even remotely scary in the surrounding area.

Could you please change that part about the rain and thunderstorm? The Island is currently suffering from a big heat-wave, and so it wouldn't be raining in any parts of Kongrai.
Thanks.

The decision had been made. She was going to have to take a stroll across the the other packlands, just to settle her mind, and make sure their actually were some wolves left. As long as she made it clear she was no threat to them, ad was merely their to make a quick check, things would be fine. The pack wolves would have no reason to attack her, so long as she announced her presence correctly. But then their was the problem of who to take with her, and who to leave in charge of the lands. Their was of course Jewel, she was a trusted member of the pack, and had served the Xyla well. Kishi, however, had not seen the mexican Fae in a long, long time, and could only sadly assume that she had perished through the Winter. And then their was Shade. He was a skilled fighter, had the scars to prove it, and was a very strong wolf, but would he understand the concept of going there unthreateningly, with the sole purpose of not getting into any fights?
And then, of course, their was the danger aspect of the whole journey. Undoubtedly, they would be safe in the Liazo packlands. From what she'd heard, the pack had not caused trouble in a long, long time. Either their was no pack left, or they had finally settled down. But the Skyla? That was a completely different matter. Senna was a very unpredictable wolf. Kishi had seen the fae fight, and had seen the fae take life for no apparent reason. Certainly, she was not someone you wanted to mess with. And Kaija, well, he was just as demented as his mate, and even though she was his family, she could not trust him not to hurt her, or her pack. And putting her pack in danger was the last thing she wanted to do. Perhaps it be better to go alone?
'c-c-cut it out that tickles!' The outburst almost made her jump, and she found her attention back on the Brute. Without a doubt, he was sweet when he was dreaming. A complete contrast to the viscious wolf she'd seen him be on the battle ground. 'Kishi will you...' She froze, there it was again. Her name. So he was dreaming about her? Heck, that wasn't good. That was just going to put her emotions under even more confusion, asif they weren't confused enough as it is. It wasn't until she felt him nuzzle at her neck that she realised he was awake once again. She looked over at him, pulling her face into a calm trance again, and smiled, pretending nothing had happened.
He was watching her questioningly. So he had noticed her behaviour? Well, she was nothing but an expert at keeping her confusion hidden away at the back of her mind, waiting for her to ponder over them some other, less obvious time. And that is what she did. Kishi shoved the thoughts and words she had just heard to the back of her mind, not allowing them to come out again. "You never answered my question." she pointed out with a smile.

The brute simply shook his head softly as he looked at her. "To be honest with you i don't quite know myself i saw your brother once but.. yeah we didn't hit it off to well and its been weeks since i've seen him or any other wolf besides you". He sighed deeply glancing down at the ground. As he looked back up at her. "Were you just watching me sleep?". He chuckled softly as he slowly stood up to shake out his fur. covering his alphess in dust and debris before sitting back down.
Shade looked back at the fae that was sitting beside him. With all his combat experience he could tell almost exactly what she had in mind. There was no way he was going to let her travel alone into the other pack's territories even if they were weakened it was his job to protect his alphess."And i know what you are planning and with all do respect i can not allow you to go by yourself.. He gently rubbed against her to show his love for her but it was still unclear if he like liked her or just as his leader.
He padded over to the nearby lake. This time completely ignoring the blistering heat his little nap had left him thirsty and nothing would stop him. From quenching his thirst from the lake as he awaited his alphess's response once more.

So her brother was alive? Or had that been suring early Winter? Before the really bad stuff set in? Or Spring? "When was this?" And he'd fought him, too? That was another reason why taking Shade into the Skyla territory was a bad idea. If him and Kaija had met, and things had not gone down smoothly, then her brother was sure to be pissed. Not a good time to bring the very wolf who had annoyed him back into the territory. Shade didn't seem to understand just how dangerous that pack could be, and if he'd sparked bad blood between them, then taking the Brute back into the Skyla lands would put a great risk on his life. Both their lives.
'Were you just watching me sleep?' She snorted, letting out a quick, girly laugh. "You looked very peaceful, quite the contrast to when your awake." Then glared at him when he shook dust all over her. 'And i know what you are planning and with all do respect i can not allow you to go by yourself..' This made her laugh, "Well you can't exactly come with me! Not if you've crossed blood with the Skyla alpha so recently. It would be a death wish." Yes, he was a skilled fighter, but even she didn't fancy his chances against that pack.

"It seems you have misunderstood me i never said we fought.. i actually saved his life". This would be a shock to anyone who heard it seeing how shade was not the nicest wolf there was around. But even though he saved a life he didn't sound to pleased to be reminded of his good deed. As if he almost regretted saving the wolf's life. He looked up toward the heavens as he spoke a saying he had said many times before."Put your faith in what you most believe in..trust your heart.. let fate decide..
His demeanor seemed to change almost instantly. From a relaxed calming demeanor to a survival demeanor like he had during the winter. The very thing that had kept him going and helped him find shelter and food in that terrible time in his life. He turned toward his alphess a serious look shone in his eyes. As he spoke to her his words hardened and direct. "I'm coming with you". He knew who he was speaking to but at this point to him it didn't really seem to phase him in the least.
He walked straight toward her his once swaying tail lay motionless behind him. His auds perked up into attention to catch any and all sound that was around them as he stared directly into her eyes. Just waiting for her to respond he knew he was out of line but he was putting her safety before that of his own. Surely she could see that but if not he was willing to take any punishment she saw fit for his outburst.

'It seems you have misunderstood me i never said we fought.. i actually saved his life.'
The femmes eyebrows shot up, and she let out a shocked 'oh.' He actually saved Kaijas life? He didn't sound too pleased about it, though. What was their not to be proud about? He's saved another wolf's life! That was a big thing to do, and he should be happy he did so! "And why would you do a thing like that?" It struck her as slightly odd that he would save the life of a Skyla alpha. Their must be some good in him afterall, she mused thoughtfully. The fae was curious to know what had happened, but didn't ask, in respect for her brothers pride, that was undoubtedly feeling wounded right now. 'Put your faith in what you most believe in..trust your heart.. let fate decide..' 'Kishi mulled over his words in her mind, not entirely certain what he was talking about.
'I'm coming with you.' She snorted at his words, her eyes narrowing. "I don't think so, Shade. Besides, i've not even decided whether i'm going yet." She had, but he didn't need to know that. If it came to it, she'd use her influence as an Alpha to forbid him from coming with her. She was not going to risk any of her pack member in that way. Not a chance. She stared back at him with a scowl, slightly annoyed. If need be, she would reduce him to Omega. Punishment for not obeying her orders.
(Sorry its short.)

"Then you are just going to have demote me because i can not and will not allow you to enter a dangerous land unprotected".He was not trying to bluff his way out of it he just cared more for her safety then his rank. If the pack lost her then there would be no one to stop the other packs from moving in. Any and all xyla members if they were still alive out there they would be to depressed by the loss of their leader to defend their homeland. So the invading pack could take over the land without a fight. Shade personally would be deeply effected by the loss of his alphess.
He stared her down as he snorted softly. "Well whats your judgement my alpha?". Even if he were demoted she would nearly have to kill him herself to prevent him from stalking her to ensure her safety. Shade would give his life for the pack in a heart beat and would stand up to anyone. Not caring for rank if he thought for a second that their life would be in danger. But this time he was torn in two as he thought."Do i tell her?..How can i?..". How could he tell her how he really felt or why he didn't want her to go. But how could he now that she seemed annoyed as it is.
He shook his head slightly as he sighed deeply still thinking about alot of things. But he was mostly thinking about how he would tell her the truth about his feelings. But now was not the time to do so that much was clear as day. He slowly started to paw at the ground still awaiting his alphess's judgement. If he was demoted then so be it he would still stalk her into the enemy territory to protect her. Although he knew that she was a pretty skilled fighter but he did not know how many surviving members the other packs had and he was not going to take a chance to lose his alphess.

'Then you are just going to have demote me because i can not and will not allow you to enter a dangerous land unprotected.' The Alphess glared at him, not quite believing what she was hearing. She was the Alpha, she would be the one to tell what to do, and he will obey here commands. 'Else things would get sticky. Kishi certainly did not like where this conversation was going, and her frustration shone through her body language. 'So what is your judgement, my alpha?' Shade asked, and the femme narrowed her eyes, staring him down with a look to show who the dominant wolf here was. "I am the Alpha here, and you will do as I say, no questions asked, and no arguments, or their will be trouble, understood? If I decide to go and visit my brother in his territory, then I will go alone, and you will not be coming with me." She snapped at him, her eyes alight with fury, all thoughts of what she thought she had heard earlier gone, and replaced with downright rage.
Was he not understanding why she was demanding this? Yes, she knew that going into the Skyla lands and the Liazo territories would be a great risk, not only from the pack wolves, but from Rogues she may meet along the way. But that was a threat she was ready to put herself under, not her pack members. In her books, they came first. Now that her pups were gone, it was her pack members who would ensure the Xyla lived on if anything were to happen to her, and so losing the packs greatest fighter was not a good option. "You will do as I say, Shade." She snarled, padding away from him furiously.
