A pack.
That was the first scent to really hit her hard when she entered the territory. It was odd, as news of a fourth pack had never reached her ears, or nose, before now. Kongrai was already beginning to fall under the pressures of sustaining three seperate packs, but a fourth? That was sure to send things over the edge. The snow had quickly taken its grip on the land, covering everything in a thick sheet of white, and it the prey animals had long since decided it was time to leave. Even now, the flakes were falling steadily from the grey sky, leaving not a single live creature in sight. All was quiet.
Yet she was so very hungry.
Perhaps that was what had driven her to intrude on this pack territory. The possibility that their may be something decent to eat here, not just measly mice. The though of something, anything- even a simple rabbit- was making her mouth water. She was so, very very hungry. It had been, what, weeks since her last decent meal? The femme had been surviving on mice and berries, the very lowest of lows. A level she was not keen to stay at. Her mind had been so set on moping after Flint during Fall that she had not even considered the idea of stocking up on foods, and now she was paying for it. That was why she was here, trespassing on another wolf's land, hoping for the gods to take pity on her, and allow her some food.
Flint.
A beautful name, for such a beautiful guy. It was true that they had not parted on the nicest of terms, and it was also true that Akila was not aware of the reason for his sudden thirst for escape. Perhaps her shameless flirting had upset him in some way? Although why that would happen she could not say, after all, he had been happily returning the gestures and expressions long before his little outburst. It was strange. So very strange. The femme had thought that her growing feelings for the Brute could be blamed on the drasted mating seasons, and that the overwhelming need to start a family that seemed to grip her year after year was to do with her hormones running riot. Alas, it seemed she had been wrong.
Akila padded confidently through the new land, her nose high in the air, ready to catch any and all scents that crossed her path as her ivory pelt blended in with the whitening background. If she was lucky, she would not come across a wolf of this pack. She would simply pick off a weakling from the Elk herd that was known to wander these parts, and be on her way. If only it were that easy.

The alphess had settled down a little bit away from the tree line so she could watch over the clearing but yet be able to retreat into the treeline for cover if the need were ever to arise, Not that it would ever arise after all she was and still is the alphess of these lands and if anyone had a problem with that then they would have to contend with her, her beta male was still no-where to been found and she was starting to lose her patience for him, after all she had other things to attend to more important then waiting up for a male that had already broken more then one of her personal rules, she had two others members to get settled but nooo she now had to wait for this stubborn brute to return, she yawned softly and soon after her eyes closed.
The next thing she knew a strange scent invaded her nose, to her she had only closed her eyes a second ago, but as she went to stand it became clear why she had gone undetected by the intruder, snow falling off of her body in clumps, it could of also concealed the wolves scent from her for awhile, but now the alphess was awake and angry, the queen of Exousia shook out her fur, glaring down at the wolf as she moved silently closer, she was not sure if the wolf knew she was there or not yet but they would know rather soon and it will not be a warm welcome, as lately all the alphess's compassion has been drained from her frame, leaving only venom and anger in its place, a dark scowl formed on the white femoras maw as she approached the wolf,
As she grew closer she realized that it was a fae and there was no strange male scent around her, so she had wondered onto her land alone?, big mistake lobolita was in need of something to take her anger out on and this fae had just given her the chance to do so, all she needed to do was say or act the wrong way, give her any reason to think that she would be a threat and the alphess would have no problem putting her down, staining the snow red with her blood, just the thought of that kind of fun caused the alphess to lick her lips, she knew all to well that she did not have the re that senna did as a killer but still this female was on her land and every wolf would kill to defend its land, especially during this time of year, but then something else accord to her, perhas this fae could join her ranks?. with that in mind, the icey scowl left her maw and was replaced with a friendly smile, "uh excuse me miss is there something i can help you with?"

So far as she knew, their was no pack currently claiming this territory. Straining the extent of her knowledge, Akila was aware of three packs ruling the Island. The Liazo, The Skyla, and the Xyla. Each one had gained themselves a seperate reputation amongst Kongrais population; the Liazo being clever and skillful, the Skyla being bloodthirsty and merciless, and the Xyla being trustworthy and kind. That was all. Three of them, going about their business and wrecking havoc between each other. So you can imagine the faes surprise when a completely new scent caught her attention, causing her to literally freeze on the spot, both cautious and intrigued at the same time.
All thoughts regarding her empty stomach were pushed to the back of her mind as she inspected this new scent with her nose. It was a strange one, containing the dinamics of a pack wolf, but without the familar scents of Kongrais three packs. Was it possible that their was a fourth pack? Surley not? Would't she have known about it if their was? It was possible that she wouldn't, actually. Lately, her mind had been so focused on that stupid Brute that she'd taken a liking to, that she seemed to have been completely ignoring anything else that had been going off in the world. It was quite possible that another pack had risen, but she just had not taken any notice of the signs, wasn't it?
That was when the female wolf appeared. A white femme, larger than herself by a long way, and walking with the stance of an Alpha. Akila only just managed to catch a glance of the icy scowl that formed on her face before it was replaced with a somewhat freindly smile. 'uh excuse me miss is there something i can help you with?' The voice of the fae startled her, her voice strong and commanding, but with a hint of kindness to it aswell. Her scent was something of a mystery as well, for it smelled very much like the scent a pack alpha would carry, except their was no one else here. She was alone, with no other pack members to back her up. How odd. Akila knew better to challenge a pack Alpha, but she also knew better than to completely submit herself. If this fae had a nasty temperament, then to submit would almost definitely be a death sentence. But to appear as a challenge would also be a death sentence. What she needed to do, was show that she was no threat, but also to show that she had no intention of being a play thing. Being a plaything was not in her nature- unless of course, their was a Brute called Flint involved. Shoving him to the back of her mind, she lowered her head in a show of respect, but raised her tail ever so slightly. I'm sorry, but I appear to be lost. You couldn't tell me where I am, could you?

Lobolita's smile grew abit but it was still warm and inviting,so this fae had just lost her way instead of invading her lands, this she could forgive, she circled the fae once before sitting before her, once again sitting in a way that a pack leader would, her head held high her chest puffed out, there was no doubt that these were her lands, no one dared to oppose her rule here, not to her knowledge atleast,
{not done}
