Oak was standing. Waiting. He didn't know quite what he was waiting for... It seemed important. He spotted a rustle in the bushes and there was Lobolita. She looked him straight in the eye, and he coulds see blood around her mouth and paws. Had she been hunting? He soon saw the answer. Frost lay a few feet away. Alive, but barely. She looked betrayed, like she hated him for being so selfish. It broke his heart to see her like this. Then a gunshot echoed through the woods and Frost no longer carried betrayal. It was hatred pure hatred and it didn't go away. Even after her breath was heard no longer, she still had that look in her eyes. All because of him. Then Kinisha was standing there next to her brother looking sad, but not necisarilly regretful. Hani grinned. He had finally avenged his sister, and oh how he had made it burn.
Oak woke up and at first he even thought Hani would be there staring down at him. Next to Frost's dead body. There was a Frost there alright but she wasn't dead. She was grooming herself, a rabbit laying at her feet.
"Frost, your alive..." He said, still disoriented from the traumatic dream. He winced at the sight of rabbit blood, thinking it was Frost's for a moment, but then dismissing the thought. He grabbed th small leg and ripped it off to chew on. It was almost calming, knowing that nothing bad had happened yet. Once he got his bearings on his situation he looked up at Frost, embarrassed. Pain and anguish was visible in his eyes he was sure of it. It was exactly what he was feeling a million times over. And he couldn't shake it. It was almost like Frost's lingering stare in the dream. Even after, it didn't go away. He knew it never would if anything happened to her.

Oak seemed disturbed in his sleep. He woke up seeming slightly confused. “Frost, you’re alive...” He said. What? Of course she was. ”Yeah, I am...” Frost said. She eyed him carefully. He seemed fine. He looked sad, though, like whenever she remembered him. ”Bad dream? She didn’t remember her dream. Most of the time she did, not much she could do when she was all alone. In dreams, she could do crazy things, and sometimes, it would just feel nice to be in some action, but at the same time, feel incredible and somehow have fun too. Dreams were just a world she would escape to. But on some bad days, she would sometimes dream about her past, only ten times worse. He ripped a leg off the rabbit and began chewing away. She grabbed one too and munched away thoughtfully. He probably had a bad past, like her. So did Kishi, Shade, and probably everyone else. She looked at him, chewing away. There was an urge, pulling her towards him, but then it disappeared. Probably just mating season. She shook it off.
I was thinking he could say something like, “Yeah, Lobalita killed you and Kinisha was looking at me and so were you...” Oak realized that she had no idea what he was talking about. “Well...” then he could go into his history and stuff.
Worst post ever.

"Lobolita was angry and then hurt you and then Kinisha came.... It's most of my worst fears pulled into one." Oak said in reply to her confusion. Then he realized he had just confused her more, so he apologized. "Sorry. See, Kinisha was the human that took me in after my mother died, but her father was a hunter and saw me as a threat and almost killed me. Then Kinisha hid me with all the stuff she used to feed me and I learned to hunt and fend for myself. I may have ruined her life, which probably sent any of her close relatives off the edge, and she probably never liked her father all that much ever again. Either she thinks I'm horrible or I'm awesome. If there are humans on the island, ther e is a chance it is one of them and that poses a threat to us both. "Once I had grown sick of the island and found a deserted raft, I let it lead me where ever, anywhere off the island. It led me to Kongrai, but I didn't have much more luck here than I had previously. Other males were constantly attacking me, thinking I was arrogant and full of myself. They were mistaken. I was humbled and beaten down to submission, often going weeks on end without much food because I wasn't able. Then I found Lobolita and th e Exousia, though there weren't many others in the pack at the time. I became Beta and Lobolita and I bonded. For a time we were fairly good friends. Or at least t he closest I'd had to having one. We kept eachother alive. I collected a majority of the food, squirrels and such, and she kept the territory marked and managed who joined and who didn't. Then I met you and I think she might kill us both... Sorry... That was the only way you could understand. It's the reason I prefer to live alone, away from the cold bitter hands of the world." He had said way too much, yet he felt as if a burden had been taken halfway off his back. He felt free, and he wanted to be close to Frost. He snapped onto reality quickly though. Only mating season. Only the creepy effects of mating season. Or maybe that's what he wanted to think.

Oak continued on about his past. Wow. Humans, that’s about all she summed up. Some good interactions, some bad interactions. And her past, well, traitor, that’s what one would get from hers. That was only what some of her was thinking, the other was shocked that she was the one hurt. Not tat she was offended, just, he really cared. How... how far away from the island were you? That might man more humans might come, if they’re nearby. That would be bad. Frost looked up at the sky. She would have to go in about an hour. Not much time here. Me? I had a nice life, in a small pack, on one of the islands. Then, after a hunt, he ,she spat the world out, came in and killed everyone. I was hurt. In both ways. The pain pushed me away from everyone. She made it sound so short. She grabbed another leg and continued. I followed, and watched another pack die. And another. But before the last one, I exacted my revenge, but that took a while. I had learned how to run, to hide, and then, during the next Winter, I came here and eventually found Kongrai. That was about it. She tried to breeze over him, but not before horrible images of what happened that night ran through her mind. Salty waves crashed along the shore, like they were trying to kill the rocks. The place made her slightly uneasy. She likes, water, sure, but this, it seemed so... hostile. So dangerous. Not at all like the calm and peaceful Zestos Lake. She looked up suddenly at Oak. What was she doing?! She couldn’t stay with Oak, this would never work out. He said that he might quit Exousia, maybe he could join her, or she could join him. Lobalita, from what Oak said of her, wouldn’t accept. And bringing him into Xyla would feel wrong. It felt good just to stay with him. She could escape the problems of the real world. Both packs, the humans, the loners, Zentha, Halgea being injured, and just about anything else. Another problem that she recognized, but hadn’t dealt with. She didn’t know him! What was she doing, chatting away with a stranger from another pack? That she had been yelled at by two days ago? She was trusting him more than her alpha! More than her whole pack! But she still couldn’t bring herself to stop, first, how, and second, no. That was the argument running through her head. Well gee, this is nice. She thought, I’m stuck in a pit. Not much more to do than hope everything sorts out.

He didn't know what to say so he just stared. It was so SAD. Depressing. Very depressing. More tragic than his and more damaging. It seemed as if his life had been easy. He thought about the first question.
"A little over ten days... Thats how long I was conscious on the raft, and when I woke up, I was here." He paused for a moment and then asked, "Did he die?" It just popped out. He felt as if he had said too much, but then he said, "The reason I don't like to be around other wolves is because... I am never ever accepted. Most males fight me. Society never accepted me and never will. So, I gave up trying to get them to, and just became reclusive and somewhat aggressive at times." He moved closer to her, almost involuntarily.
What the heck was he doing? He couldn't trust her! She was a stranger practically that he had only known well since about 24 hours ago. How come he trusted her more than anyone he'd ever met before? He didn't understand any of it. He had started something that he knew was impossible to end. The consequences would be bad and he knew it, but he had brought this on and he would pay the price.

"A little over ten days... Thats how long I was conscious on the raft, and when I woke up, I was here." That would be... Probably far enough. The world has so many humans. They would be fine... Probably. Well, with those humans, the current ones were still a threat. Suddenly, she thought of something. The alphess and lead warrior left the non-fighting shaman, injured beta, and young heir, with the humans still around. Wasn't Shade being nervous with the humans? They should stay in the den, but let the best fighters to go make out? Whatever. Frost finished the leg and licked the her mouth. We should be fine. Was this... Kinisha... Do you think of her as your mother? This was awkward. Just fitting the idea. I mean, do you value her like that? She said quickly. Ugh. Her mind wandered back around to Shade and Kishi, how small the pack was, Halgea, the humans, and all the other crazy issues in her pack. She shook away the feelings. Something said that she should spend the moments with Oak thinking not about her pack's issues, but just... Well, on something else. "Did he die?" This sort of took her on by surprise, no reason, just... did. Then again, she had just asked a really off question. Yeah, he did. She said. "The reason I don't like to be around other wolves is because... I am never ever accepted. Most males fight me. Society never accepted me and never will. So, I gave up trying to get them to, and just became reclusive and somewhat aggressive at times." He moved closer to her, almost involuntarily. Life's harsh.

"No. I don't." He paused and looked to her again. "I value her like a sister." He was protective of Kinisha and she him. They protected each other and would do anything to keep the other safe.... The last night he saw her flashed through his mind. Her father had caught her feeding me and began yelling and throwing things at me. He had acted so roughly I began growling and snarling at him. I was ready to protect Kinisha at all costs. Then he had gone to get his gun and we had run for our puny little lives. We reached the cave and she brought me some supplies. That was the last time I saw her. Waving in tears as she backed away.
He whimpered and looked at the ground. He wanted to run. He wanted this to end. "Frost, this won't work out. Lobolita will kill me. I don't even know why I told you anything." He said. He knew it might sting but it was the truth. He didn't know why.

She had hoped never to have anything to do with humans, but look at this! Life just seemed to over the top lately. One second she's running around in Xyla territory, the next she's dealing with five thousand problems. She felt a bit sad for him too. He had lost his only family, well, so to speak, but at least she would still be alive. Parents don't kill their kids. Unless they're evil or nuts. her father didn't seem evil or nuts, just someone who hates wolves. Humans never seemed to like wolves, only their disgusting mutations of wolves. She looked back at him. "Frost, this won't work out. Lobolita will kill me. I don't even know why I told you anything." Oak whimpered. Frost felt another, more harder, wave of sadness. Worry was in him, devastating worry. She'd had that too, just deny it, run away, or forget. Reason through it. Rarely helped, but... Things would sort themselves out. They would. They must. He would get the brunt of Lobalita. If she attacked her, she'd have an angry pack after her. If she got Oak, well, he was in her pack. She was alphess. Nothing would happen to her. It wouldn't work, but he already reeked of Xyla fae, it was too late. Kishi would accept him, somehow. They were already doing it. They would get the same punishment as if they had been doing it forever and an hour. I know... It's just... She walked over and nuzzled him comfortingly,We've already started, can't back out. Frost backed away and looked at the rabbit. She ate the rest, which wasn't much, and dragged it away to bury. She came back and lay down. She looked up at the clouds drifting easily across the sky. Too bad my life is't so easy, so simple. So peaceful. A sigh escaped, a deep breath. Why, all her problems, she was tired, or just felt like it, was unknown to her. Sometimes it felt good just to relax. Simple peace of not thinking about her problems, not thinking about anything really. Just feeling the magic of pure silence.

After her words, he lost control. He couldn't resist. He moved closer to her. A small part of his brain told him not to do this, that this would cause too much trouble, but instinct had already taken over, and he began...
*breeds with Frost*
He climbed off, and shrunk away. WHY HAD HE BEEN SO STUPID? He looked at her apologetically. "Um.... Sorry..." this was so embarrassing. How? What? Why? Huh? This couldn't be happening. He couldn't believe himself.
OOC, Sorry it is so short.... I don't know what to say,

Suddenly, Oak went over and *mated*. Frost blinked in surprise. She was stunned, surprise flooded through her, but she didn't resist. A bit of pleasure flowed through her, though. She waited for him to get off, then watched him. Instinct was mostly guiding the first moments after that. "Um... Sorry..." Oak looked so embarrassed and guilty. Well, that was a bad idea, but she still didn't mind... Yet. The packs would be driven nuts, but it wouldn't get too bad. Xyla was merciful and more stronger in numbers, well, sorta. She didn't know what to say, so to cover the exceedingly awkward silence, she said, I'll be back. And with that she left to go relieve herself.

"I'll be back." Frost said. Probably off to relieve herself... He thought. He wanted to bolt. He wanted to bolt before Lobolita saw him... Or smelled him. He stumbled clumsily across the border absentmindedly. Then he cursed rather loudly to himself. What was wrong with him?! First he mates with Frost and then he goes and brings her scent through the border!!! Why?
He laid down where he was to think about his next move. He didn't have any idea what he was in for.

The famora was already angry with her beta male as it was and now she had to go looking for him as well?, well this was just great she thought as a snarl escaped her maw as she drew closer to the end of her own territory, she knew that the border was around here somewhere when she found oak it would not be a pleasant encounter, after all he was not there when he was suppose to be and for all she knew he could allowed the intruder to pass right by him without even trying to stop her, another snarl escaped her lips as her eyes fell appon her second in charge, her blood starting to boil as she pulled her lips back to reveal her teeth, all the passion that she had once held for him was gone, her kindness that she was known for had melted away all that was left was a bitter rage.
"Oak! where you are when you are suppose to be patrolling?!"it did not take long for the strange scent to invade her nose, so that was why he had disobeyed her... that xyla fae.. well if he wanted her so badly then he could have her for all she cared, he had broken his alphess's trust for the final time, she sighed deeply and looked away from the brute that caused her so much anger, but this was not over not by a long shot, she looked back at him a soft growl building in her throat, "oak.. you have left me no choice, you are hereby exiled from the Exousia".
"now.. its time for your punishment" as she said this a sick and twisted smirk grew onto her maw, she never dreamed that she would have to inflect pain onto one of her own pack members, but then again oak was no longer a member of her pack, it was clear that she was on the border line of just snapping and going completely insane, her anger threatening to over-whelm her and cast her down into a pit of darkness from the likes of which she would never escape from.

Lobolita's angry voice pulled him out of his trance. He had been to late. "Oak! Where you are when you are supposed to be patrolling!?" She obviously hadn't noticed yet. But when she did, her reaction startled him, but it was still exactly what was to be expected. She growled. "Oak... You have left me no choice, you are hereby exiled from the Exousia." His surprise was all too apparent. Why was he so surprised anyways? He'd seen this coming, so why was it just sinking in now?
"Now, its time for your punishment." She smirked evilly. His stomach dropped. He was going to die. He had been so foolish! Why had he done this?
"Lobolita, I'm not asking you to forgive me, but let me go in peace. I don't want too much trouble about this. I am willing to go if you'll let me. Please." He was begging and he saw insanity in Lobolita's eyes. He looked to the ground. "Please..."

"Lobolita, I'm not asking you to forgive me, but let me go in peace. I don't want too much trouble about this. I am willing to go if you'll let me. Please."
His words only seemed to enrage the already out-raged famora even more, her eyes would of bursted into flames if it were possible, a snarl ripped up her throat and flew out of her maw, her eyes narrowing more at her now former beta male, he dared to ask her to simply allow him to leave?! after all he had done?!, no... she was going to make him regret this choice for the rest of his life, she slowly circled the male repeatedly. her claws digging into the soft sand, this was an ugly side of herself that she rarely allowed to surface but this wolf had dragged it out of her, he had done everything short of out right betrayal, he disobeyed her rules more then once and now instead of accepting a warriors death hes begging for his life, how disgraceful. "Oak..i have no intention of letting you go, you betrayed me made me look like a fool"
"I gave you more then one chance to redeem yourself but clearly this xyla fae ment more to you then your own pack",then with one swift movement the alphess sent her left leg crashing against the brute's head with enough to knock him over, that is unless he some how dodged the blow but that was unlikely seeing how she had most likely caught him off guard with the attack, besides from what he had said he was most likely not in the mood to fight with his former leader. "when your punishment is over, if you ever set another paw on my territory again i will personally end your worthless life"

His words of apology had obviously not worked. In fact, they had the opposite effect than that he had been hoping for, for they made her even more enraged. She circled him, her sharp claws digging into the wispy dust, leaving heavy and firm footprints. She never once directed her flaming gaze at anything but him. He shivered.
Oak... I have no intention of letting you go, you betrayed me and made me look like a fool" She growled, and Oak had quite a few idea's on what her intentions were (killing, starving, blinding, and generally doing some life changing thing to him), and he didn't look forward to any of them. At all. "I gave you more than one chance to redeem yourself, but clearly this Xyla fae meant more to you than your own pack." Suddenly her left leg came crashing towards him and he was knocked backward. He would take this punishment, in any form, but he refused to die. He wouldn't let Frost go through that. Blood began to trickle out of the gash on his head.
"When your punishment is over, if you ever set another paw on my territory, I will personally end your worthless life." Her last word struck him as hard as her blow to his head. He wanted to growl, snarl, snap, even attempt to kill, but he held back these emotions as these would only cause more strife. His life was no longer worthless. He had Frost, he had their pups and he took these words as a threat to his family's happiness.
He said the most respectful words he could think of. "I mean no disrespect, but my life is no longer worthless. To you, maybe, but to my family-" His voice caught at this word, as he hadn't said it in so long. "I am needed. Greatly. I will not let them just go fend for themselves." His temper was rising now, and he was about to blow, "If you DARE threaten my family.... I will stay off your land if you don't harm my mate and pups." He realized his error, the mention of pups. This wasn't good. He was digging his own grave, if wolves had graves.... Huh, something to think about for sure.
Impulsively, he began to circle Lobolita, and their stares never wavered.

The alphess simply absorbed his words, not really paying them any mind even when he mentioned he now had a family, to her he was nothing but a useless tool now, he had bee ordered to stay away from the xyla lands and he went against it, the only thing that brought the white fae out of her musings was what the male dared to say next, it was more like a command then anything else, which angered lobolita even more.
"If you DARE threaten my family.... I will stay off your land if you don't harm my mate and pups."
without giving him a chance to react, the alphess tackled her former beta male, as she pinned him to the warm beach sand it became very clear that he had just pushed her past her breaking point, the look in her eyes was complete insanity, she then brought her paw up and raked the males left eye, basically robbing him of the sight in that eye. "You do not tell me what i can or can not do in my own land!!, Do i make myself clear!?"

She wandered back to the border. It hadn't taken long. She walked slowly, relaxed. Her head bobbed up and down as she trotted, watching her paw prints in the snow. Her ears twitched as she heard something ahead. With a nose now raised and pointed straight ahead, she realized that there was another wolf up ahead, but what she noticed first was the smell of blood. Oak's blood. She picked up her pace. The other wolf was a fae. She almost burst in, but managed to creep in behind a stone. A white fae was circling Oak. Oak's head of his face was bleeding. Worry touched her, but she didn't do anything. They seemed too intent on each other to notice her. "When your punishment is over, if you ever set another paw on my territory again i will personally end your worthless life." The fae, snarled. "I mean no disrespect, but my life is no longer worthless. To you, maybe, but to my family-" His voice caught at this word, as he hadn't said it in so long. "I am needed. Greatly. I will not let them just go fend for themselves." His voice was getting angrier now, as if he was about to blow, "If you DARE threaten my family.... I will stay off your land if you don't harm my mate and pups." In the worry and fear for him, Frost felt a touch of love at how much he cared. He seemed to have realized that mentioning the pups seemed like a bad idea, but he didn't back down. On the contrary, he started circling her too. The alphess then raked his left eye, robbing him of the sight in that eye. "You do not tell me what I can or can not do in my own land!!, Do I make myself clear!?" Pure anger and madness was embedded into her words, actions, and everything. Frost moved to help Oak, but stopped herself. She would only make it worse.

Oak spotted the bushy white tail before Lobolita, and he was happy to have. But his relief that Frost hadn't completely deserted him was short lived. In Lobolita's eyes, was a sort of anger and madness he had rarely seen before. If she was blaming Frost for this, he didn't have the faintest idea about how that would play out. This wasn't good. He would have to tread carefully, for this could turn into something bad between Xyla and Exousia. [bg=9e9c98][atrb=border,0,table][atrb=width,500,table] [th] [atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=HEX]

She said as she did so. And yet, lying on the ground, his right eye to the dirt, he couldn't see her, or anything else. She had blinded him. Sharp pain coursed through him, but his anger was much stronger than pain or anguish. In his eyes at the moment, Lobolita was acting irrationally and stupidly. He understood her anger, but it was mating season, and even though that was no excuse, she should stop acting like she was the only one who mattered here. He had a life. He had a mate, pups. And in his eyes shone anguish. An anguish only one living thing had ever seen on his face before, and that was Kinisha. Anguish that some would mistaken for madness or guilt or fear, but it wasn't. He knew that by what he had done, he was condemned to death. He threw an apologetic glance at Frost, very briefly, and rolled over in defeat, surrendering himself to his former alphess. It was better for Frost, it was better for everyone, if he was dead.

Ignoring the haunted thoughts that were travelling his mind, Koiro focused as the scent of the Xyla shaman finally met his nose. With his tail high and ears alert, the wolf proceeded to follow the trail, padding through the forest until he finally emerged out onto the very edges of the Xyla territory; Faumara beach. That was when he spotted the non-xyla wolves. Two of them, appatently having some sort of disagreement- a large male, and an equally large female. the Brute studied the pair for a couple of seconds, before slinking silently forward toward them, eventually spotting Frost lurking, slightly hidden at the edges of the little death ring that the pair seemed to be creating.
The white female was circling the big male, holding herself in the same way that he had often seen Kishi form when a pack member had disobeyed her as a youngster. The stance of an Alpha. A pissed Alpha. Again, he found himself confused. It wasn't Senna, and it wasn't Suko, the Liazo leader, so who the hell was she? And what were they doing causing trouble on the edges of Xyla territory? Why was Frost just stood there, hiding, not doing anything? Why hadn't she raised the alarm of these intruders? such an odd situation!
As he grew closer, the wind blowing in his favour, the scents of the area grew stronger, and Koiro was finally able to interpret what was going on. The male had obviously been here longer than the angry femme, his scent mingled with frosts in a way that was unmistakable to him, even if this was his first mating season. The idea came as a shock to him, and also irritated him to a degree, but he could not dwell on the private life of his mothers shaman. Their were more pressing issues right now, such as the two strangers that were obviously dangerous in their ways. Perhaps this big femora was an ex-mate? If she had come across Frost and this male, then that would explain her anger, plus her dominant stance. It was also put Frost in a lot of danger, if she were to be spotted.
Both wolves circled eachother, refusing to back down, and Koiro managed to catch wind of their conversation. They were aagruing, over something that he could only assume was to do with Frost. The fae referred to the area as her land, and the Brute retaliated her words with ones of his own, about needed to fend for his family, which sparked a slight feeling of respect for him, even though korio did not approve of whatever it was that had gone off down here. Then the female lashed out, sending the males already bloodied head to the ground. Why was he just taking the attack? Why was he not fending for himself? And why, koiro wondered in horror when he saw what happened next, was he submitting to defeat?!
He saw it, there and then, that this male was going to be killed. Although it was no buisiness of his, frost obviously cared for the brute, and they were practically on the borderline of xyla territory. Far too close for his liking. So, rising his head to the sky, koiro let out a long, warning howl, alerting the rest of the Xyla of the presence of these wolves. He did not wish to witness a murder. not today.

lifting herself onto her feet she carried herself to a trot. she was ever so silent though. when she came to the area where the howl came from she could make out four. she could see koiro just barely on the other side of the clearing. in the middle a male and a female. not just any female though it was the exousia alphess. she looked rather angry with this male, and she was practically almost standing on xyla territory. then the other one she could only smell was the white fae from earlier who lashed out. this wasnt about her it was about a rival pack. she had met lobolita earlier she would like to consider them friends but why would she harm someone who smelled of her own? using the fact that she knew this alphess she walked out of the tree line, head high, but tail comfortably dangling. like she usually held it. her soft tones rang out rather alarmed Lobolita, its nice to see you again but what is this about? now that she was closer she could tell this brute who was pinned to the ground was no doubt mingling with the white female. he smelled like her, the land smelled like them. had they mated? she could see why she may be mad but hadnt she said earlier it was fine for her pack members to come and go as the please and be with whom ever they want? satarah had been considering the exousia for a pack but now she saw that if her heart had become intwined with one from another pack this would have been her punishment. her midnight orbs watched lobolita carefully knowing she could attack because of the area they were in.

The alphess went to finish off her troublesome former pack member, but that is when she heard the howl, they had been discovered she stepped away from the brute abit but decided to place her paw on his throat to ensure that he stayed on the ground, as she glanced around she could not pinpoint the location of the howl, but something did make her snarl, it was the same fae from before when she had run into the other fae and the brute, she could not remember their names not that it really mattered, she was here now? where were her friends?, the alphess sniffed the air, but snapping at the fae approaching her. "Stay back!, unless you want to end up like this fool". A dark smile formed on her maw as two new scents invaded her nose, one of which was clearly the fae that her former memeber had mated with.
The other had to be the wolf that sounded the alarm, either way she had to deal with them now before the alphas of the xyla pack could show up or this could turn out alot worse then she really wanted it to, it had already taken a bad turn by these two showing up. "I can smell you two.. show yourselves!", she snapped and snarled as she held her prisoner to the ground with even more force then she had been before.

Relief touched her, but only for a moment. He would be no match for the mad alphess. She would destroy him, and make things even worse. Then, he howled to the pack. Good, someone should come along, but probably not soon enough, she worried. Another wolf strutted in-oh come on! It was one of the white faes. That loner was still wandering their territory freely? But she decided to try and ignore that. "Lobolita, its nice to see you again but what is this about?" she asked. So they'd met... Probably wouldn't help. Lobolita put her paw on Oak's throat, so he wouldn't get up. Frost's blood boiled angrily, but she still couldn't do anything... Not yet. "Stay back!, unless you want to end up like this fool," she snarled viscously. This wasn't getting any better, just worse. And now the whole island would probably know that she and Oak had mated by the time it was all over. Her teeth bared fiercely behind her hiding spot. "I can smell you two.. show yourselves!" Of course.. now she was found. But she didn't move. One was to show that this mad wolf had no control, and her instinct said no, even though it would probably make not a single difference, so she stayed rooted to the spot.
Eh, it's okay...

Another scent entered the area, one that was vaguely recognisable to Koiro. For a minute, he wondered if it was someone coming to the aid of the threatening female, but then a white figure cam into view, and he recognised it to be Satarh, the loner femme who had arrived shortly before at the den site. Even though she wasn't actually a pack member, it was still a relief to find someone else had arrived, unevening the number ratio even more. Satarah trotted towards them with surprising confidence, slightly confusing the male, since this large fae was clearly a very powerful wolf, who was more than willing to do some damage, by the looks of things. 'Lobolita, its nice to see you again but what is this about?' Her words were startling. They knew eachother? How was that so? Another worrying though came to mind. What if these two had a bond of some sort? Would Satarah take the intruder wolfs side? What would hapen then?
'Stay back!, unless you want to end up like this fool. I can smell you two.. show yourselves!'
Well, perhaps they didnt quite have the friendship he had feared. Would this wolf stoop low enough to hurt someone she knew? That question was answered with a glance at the Brute on the floor, blood pouring from his face, and a heavy paw pressed to his exposed throat. The outcome for him was not looking too good, especially since the pack Shaman was emotionally involved. Koiro flicked his eyes over to Frost, watching the older fae for a reaction to the words that had just been spoken. He could tell the Xyla female was angry, but she stayed rooted to the spot, not moving even an inch. He wondered whether he should do the same. Whether he should stay and wait for someone more experienced to come along, such as his mother, or Helgea, or Shade even. Where was that ridiculous owl thing of his? Wasn't that supposed to alert the male of anything that went off? Would staying still help, what with Satarah still padding forward, or would things only get worse?
No. The fae had to understand that she was now outnumbered. She had to know that if she caused any sort of harm now, chances were she'd be ripped to shreds afterwards. The Xyla were not a violent group of individuals, but it wasnt completely unherd of. Hell, they'd once even enlisted the work of Skyla alphess Senna to wrid them of his fathers brother, Kione- from what he'd gathered, anyway. Even if that plan hadn't exactly gone correctly. So, with his chest puffed out in an attempt to look larger, and a snarl pulling his lips away from his canines, Koiro stepped out from his hiding place.

The white faes just angered the famora even more as she stepped down on the brute's neck more, that was when a strange scent invaded her nose but she choose to ignore it for the time begining after all it was still very faint meaning the owner of the scent could not be close at hand, instead she turned her attention to the male that strutted out of the bushes, a cocky grin formed onto her maw, as she watched him he walked with so much self-steam it almost made her sick, did he not realize to whom he was facing?.
"Who are you boy?" she spoke venom dripping from her very words, her intend was clear as day now, she did not plan to release the male that was trapped below her paw, even if she had to fight the new male first, Oak would pay for disrespecting her, anger clouded her judgement and there for she failed to sense how strong the new smell had become, when she finally did it was to late, she turned her head slightly to the left after hearing an unmistakable growl, for the first time since this whole thing started, the mighty alphess actually looked worried.
the scent belonged to the xyla lead warrior, shade.., moments later a owl flew over the scene before perching on a branch off to the side, the alphess was speechless.
