After leaving the cave the brute padded straight up to the lake, where he proceeded to stare directly into the refreshing liquid, all his worst memories rushing before his eyes, he did not even know how he was going to tell kishi what happened in that cave, he had basically failed everyone in there the only ones who had survived were him and kenya.., everyone else had been killed by the humans.. yes as if the blizzard was not bad enough his little group was trapped in the cave by the humans, just as the pack had been a few moments ago, but unlike this time, shade had listened to kenya and tried to strike first, tried to take them down before they could get to the faes that were in the cave, but the humans were hunkered down and prepared for them.
four brutes left that cave.. only one returned, and the sight that awaited him was nothing less then pure horror, all the faes had been killed but kenya, kenya was missing shade knew for a fact that no bullets had entered the cave so it had to be a betrayal, kenya had killed the other faes then ran off!, for the longest time all the warrior wanted was to find that fae and tear her head from her shoulders, although he knew that kishi would never approve of this kind of rash action. so he decided to keep it a secret, lost in his musing the brute failed to hear the sounds that signaled an approaching wolf, it clearly had to be a fae because a brute would not waste the time to just sneak up on a distracted male, they would just rush in and attack hoping to get the upper paw before their foe could react.
"so many things to tell her..the truth about my past..impossible she'd turn away from me.." the brute said aloud as he then slapped the surface of the lake with his right forepaw, he was just so disappointed in himself, he sighed deeply he was starting to question the whole thing that had happened with him and kishi, was he even worthy of being alpha?..he shook his head and laid down softly, not saying another word or moving an inch. the brute just stared into the unforgiving waters of the lake, an almost empty look in his eyes.
ooc: you can have kishi hear what he says or not that is up to you

Darkness was rapidily falling across the territory, bringing along with it a severe chill that was enough to send even the hardiest of creatures into hibernation. The bright moon sat high and proud in the deep sky, its light cascading onto the area, leaving it with a eerie glow that could be classed as beautiful. Birds flapped noisily, disturbing the silence as they flew south to escape the colder months. 'Kishi herself wished she could join them. Move to this warmer place, wherever it may be, and take her pack somewhere with weather that was not a threat to their lives. It was a mild wish. A dream that would never come true.
The femora padded through the undergrowth, following the scent of Shade. He had padded off in a funny mood, leaving Kishi with no idea what was going through his mind. It was fairly clear that their was something bothering him, though, and she intended to find out what. Placing one delicate paw infront of the other, the small alphess made her way towards the other section of the lake, putting distance between her and the den with every step she took. Faint smells from old journeys and meetings filled her nose, but they held no interest to the fae, her only ambition being to find the warrior Brute she was following and find out what was wrong.
'so many things to tell her..the truth about my past..impossible she'd turn away from me..'
The Alphess heard the words before she actually saw him, and with a quick glance she soon spotted the male. He looked astonishingly like Karn, the way he was sat with his back to her. They'd shared the same pelt colour, the same stance, and if Karn were still alive, it would be fairly easy to mistake one for the other. 'Kishi's ears twitched as she listened to his outloud musings, the words making little sence to her. Her first assumption was that he was talking about her, but then again, she could be wrong, as she honestly had no idea what it was that went off in that mind of his anymore. So, with the intention of finding out, Kishi padded over to him. "Can't tell who what?"

The brute remained in his sitting position by the lake's edge, but the more he stared into the lake the more his heart sank, if he hadn't of led the warriors out of the cave.. they'd all still would be alive.. it was all his fault, or so shade thought, sure he had no way of knowing about kenya's intentions but still he still blamed himself all the same, the usually very alert wolf missed the signs of another wolf's approach, he did not even notice the new scent in the area, he just kept mumbling "it was all my fault.." to himself, it was not until the wolf spoke up that he realized that he was not alone and swirled around his fangs bared but came to a halt as he saw that it was none other then his alphess.
"Kishi.." the massive brute who normally was so confident when he spoke stopped to let out a sigh then looked into his alphess's eyes before continuing to speak, "I haven't been completely honest about what happened that day in the cave..", he then turned away and sighed deeply the sorrow was clear as day in his voice, this was the warrior of the xyla pack the warrior that had bravely stepped up to the alpha of the skyla pack and was willing to die for his alphess, yet the wolf that now sat a few inches from the mexican fae was a mere shell of the massive brute.
instead of going on to tell her what had happened, the brute just went silent and it was as if the brute turned to stone because after he looked away from her he did not move another muscle not even to shoo away the insects that kept landing on his pelt, he seemed conflicted on the outside but on the inside, in his mind it was alot worse, there was a war raging within him and honestly if there was anyone to snap him out of it then it would be kishi but she had her work cut out for her, she would have to get him to tell her what happened and before that could happen.
She would have to get him talking again, a task that was easier said then done this time around, the massive male had withdrawn into himself to seek out the answers, not to her possible questions, no.. he needed the answers to why he acted the way he did on that day, he needed to reassure himself that he did everything he could.

Even though the Island, and all of its inhabitants, were in a state of despair, Kishi couldn't have felt more happy with her life. Everything had been so chaotic recently, what with news of Zenthas return getting out, and the humans making a somewhat unwanted appearance, and having Koiro just appear in the pack once more after a year on his own. Although she was more than over joyed to have her son back where she could keep a watchful eye on him, somewhere that she knew would not land him in trouble, it did throw out a whole bunch of plans for the future. Now she could expect rows over what would happen if something would cause her to revoke her rank as Alpha. Who would take charge of the pack; Helgea, or Koiro? Helgea would be the most responsible option, but she knew her son would not let that happen without kicking up a big fuss first.
Therefor, it was pleasant to be able to sit in the company of the Brute she had become so close to over these past few seasons. Basking in the last of the days sun, and watching as all colour fell from the sky to reveal a blanket of darkness , with nothing but the bright moon to provide them with light. Yet, out of all the beautiful things that the night cast upon them, the alphess had eyes only for Shade. She knew that the current situation regarding the season was probably sending her hormones on over drive, but right not, she did not care. His muscular fasique as he sat by the twinkling lake was enough to send her overboard, and even though his posture was enough to show that he was not in the best of moods, 'Kishi still could not help but fantasize over what may come of tonight. She was only female, after all, and female had certain needs too.
When she spoke, it became apparent that he had not noticed her presence, as the Brute spun round defensively, teeth bared in an aggressive manner. He soon calmed down once he saw whom it was in his presence, but the sight had already been enough to make her feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, more thoughts flinging their way up into her mind. This guy would make a seriously good mate. He'd protect her, the pack and any children they produced together. Heck, he'd produce good pups too. She knew it was wrong to be thinking like this, but in all honesty, she could not help it. It was as though the male had been sketched into her mind permanently, overruling any instincts she may have once possessed to act as a good pack leader, with the longing for his company. It was definitely wrong. She was an Alpha, and he was a warrior. Albeit, a lead warrior, but tradition still told that the two ranks did not, could not mix romantically. Yet, Kishi did not care. She knew he liked her in that way, and it had soon become clear that her feelings matched his. The atmousphere tonight was just too perfect for something not to happen tonight- atleast in her mind. Tonight, she had dumped all of her alpha responsibilities on the betan, Helgea. Tonight, she would focus on one thing only. Him.
'Kishi..I haven't been completely honest about what happened that day in the cave..'
The red alphess placed herself a few feet away from him, her ears flicking with intrigue. Her tail was still swaying slightly, proof of just how content she was feeling just now. "So go one then, tell me." She said, with an encouraging smile. It was worrying just how sorrowsome he seemed over this subject. Physically, he dwarfed her in size, but right now? He seemed so small, so vulnerable. Completely different to the aggressive wolf she had seen mere seconds ago.
[doneeeee, sorry for the long wait!]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i42.tinypic.com/1zgvmnl.png] With the shock of her arrival now gone, the male was able to take in her beauty and god was she beautiful, not only that but she was also caring and this always warmed shade's heart when ever she was around, he often struggled with the fact that he lied to her about his past, he knew that the warriors that died that day were her warriors as well but still he was the head warrior so their safety fell on his shoulders and he let them down, he did not know how his alphess would react when she heard the truth so he just told her what he thought she wanted to hear, he told her that they had been lost from each other, that he had lost sight of them, this was could be no further from the truth. he noticed the sun fading away and decided to take a chance.
The lead warrior slowly padded over and sat beside his alphess, gently wrapping his tail around her like he had seen karn do on more then one time. he knew very well that he was not her mate but he couldn't help but be near her, especially with the way that the light was reflecting off of her pelt. she was just so beautiful normally but now she was even more attractive to him, he honestly could not tell if it was the season that was making her so attractive or if it was just that they were meant to be together, he did not care either way all he cared about is that she is with him right now even though he could not be his usually romantic self he would try his best to show her a good time, the brute sort of smiled and gently nuzzled under her chin, but what came next kind of made him look to the ground.
"So go one then, tell me."
"okay.. well this isn't gonna be easy for you to hear.." after that warning, shade went on to tell her all about how the humans had cornered them in the cave, how he had been so cocky back then and full of himself, so he had decided to lead the other warriors, he named them for her then continued his story, he knew that just hearing of their deaths would depress her but she needed to know the truth instead of wondering if they were still out there somewhere, he sighed deeply signaling that there was still more to this 'story'. he just did not know how much she could take at once. he knew this was alot but he needed to tell her the rest.
He went on to tell her about the proud lead warrior whom returned to the cave after killing the last human and causing them to retreat, he expected a warm welcome only to be horrible site, all the faes he had fought so hard to protect were dead, the warrior started to tremble in both his story and next to his alphess, he went on to say that the only one missing was the one that they had seen a few days ago, kenya was the only one that was not in the cave. he did not know if she was alive still or not, he was to stuck with grief to even think about going and searching for her. he made sure that she knew that a few days ago was the first time he had seen her in a long time.
He simply leaned on his alphess as if seeking so sort of comfort from her, he did not put enough pressure on her to make her topple over but he wanted her to know that he was there for her. he then laid down with a dull thud clearly disappointed in himself, after all it was his cocky self that caused the warriors to die, warriors that could of been useiful right now, to fend off any attack from zentha and his little rouges. he looked up at her slowly."Kishi.. i know we've already been over this but.. i can't change the way i feel about you.."

'okay.. well this isn't gonna be easy for you to hear..'
The warning in his words did not prepare her for what he was about to tell her. Not in the slightest bit. Shade spoke of something that had happened a long time ago in the pack history, back when Karn had still been Alpha, back before even the Kione story had kicked off. Several winters ago, when humans had first made an appearance in her lands. She had been a young Alpha, not yet clued up on how everything in the pack business worked. Kenya had been a trusted warrior of the Xyla, always doing as she was told by Shade, and 'Kishi remembered often wondering with amusement whether the two would hit it off come mating season. The Brute told Kishi how the warrior fae had said it was a good idea for them to strike at the humans first, in an attempt to drive them away. Shade had listened, going out and attacking the humans, killing them off with lots of effort.
It wasn't until now that Kishi had realised that the male had come closer and sat next to her, his tail wrapping around her own, much like Karn used to do when the pair were alone in only eachothers company. It made her feel warm inside, and the femmora wanted nothing more than to lean into his body and forget everything that the male was trying to tell her. She couldn't, though. It was important that Kishi heard his story from the past, found out what really happened those days in the cave. She saw the pictures in her mind as though she was there, watching it all unfold herself as Shade continued to tell her the events. How he had come back feeling high and mighty, only to be met with an incredibly sad sight. All of the faes were dead. They were all dead, gone, dead. All except one. Kenya. A sudden feeling of hatred grew inside of her body, one like she had never felt before, even for Kione. That fae had ruined, ended the lives of so many wolves that had been fighting to protect the home that she had lived in. That fae did not deserve to live.
It was then that Shade said something else that shocked her, something that made her feel like she was choking. Kenya had been here, in her own lands, and she hadn't even realised! Images of the fae they had encountered sprung to her mind, and the peices began to fit together. She had looked different, but some of her features were definitely still recognisable. It had been her. That cannibalistic, crazed, wolf eating female, that had been Kenya. That had been the ex-Xyla warrior. The absolute bitch. Looking Shade in the eyes, tail no longer wagging, with a deadly look in her own auds that was very rare to see, she spoke out an order. Even though tonight was the night that he would most likely become her equal, her alpha, and the father of her children, she still felt the need to speak these one lasts words. 'If that fae comes anywhere near these lands again, she dies. All the pack must know. I want her dead.' Those were words that she had never before spoken, and that would probably never leave her maw again, but right now, she didn't care. She hated that fae, more than anything else in the world.
'Kishi.. i know we've already been over this but.. i can't change the way i feel about you..'
Shade had leaned his weight against hers, a feeling that was beautiful to her mind, but then had just as quickly dropped hiself to the floor in an ashamed manner. He looked up at her as he spoke his words, a sentence that made her heart warm and eyes sparkle with a delight that she failed to hide. Smiling shyly, she nudged his head with her nose, giving his ear a quick lick of affection. She'd left her responsibilities with Helgea for a reason; to be able to enjoy her time with Shade, without the nudging guilt of the two's different pack ranks riddling her mind. She wanted nothing more than to put her loyalty to the pack aside for one night, and focus all of her energy on him. To be able to lie with him all throughout the night, and to be able to wake up in his comforting, warm company in the morning, without having to dash off and tend to some pack-related drama half way through the evening. 'Come. Let us go somewhere that is more.. private' Kishi said with a flirtatious smile, nudging him once more and then padding off deeper into the clearing, through some bushes and into another, more enclosed clearing, one with only one hidden entrance, and one hidden exit, whilst her tail swayed behind her the entire time, spreading her scent.
[Just so you know, i am planning on pulling Kishi away from the Alpha rank, as i'd like to give somebody else a chance to take over the role, depending on who wants it. It won't be just yet though, and shade could still claim the title of Alpha and keep it. I was thinking that perhaps some of their pups could die (perhaps via Kenya?) and she can get all depressed and stuff and revoke her status as Alphaa?]

'If that fae comes anywhere near these lands again, she dies. All the pack must know. I want her dead.'
Honestly this did not take him by surprise but for some reason he disagreed with it, he decided to speak up but he knew that she was still a rank above him. "Kishi.. we need to get the answers from her first, i only arrived after what ever happened, for all we know she could be innocent". Shade knew that this statement might not go over well but his mind was clouded by her scent, at this moment all he wanted was one thing, he did not want to think about anyone or anything else but her, he wanted to focus all his energy on her.
"Come. Let us go somewhere that is more.. private"
This made the male grin from ear to ear, he knew that she now wanted him as much if not more then he wanted her, she needed him, as she padded away her tail swayed spreading that enriching scent even more, shade slowly stood up and slowly padded after her, even though he behaved himself he wanted nothing more then to just take her right then and there, to give her want her body was seemingly screaming for but he was far to nice when it came to the one he loved to ever do such a thing to her.
He whistled at her in a teasing manor, just trying to draw her attention back to him, although he had a feeling that he was all that she could think about, after all she was the only one on his mind at the moment as well, shade easyily caught up to his soon to be mate as he did he slowly ran his tongue from her hip along her side and then up the side of her neck, as he glanced into her eyes, the whole world seemed to melt away the warrior's heartbeat's pace quickened and he smiled uncontrollably, the brute spoke again. "so beautiful"
ooc: That will work, but knowing shade and how he feels for her he'd most likely do everything he can to get her to believe in herself again and retake her rightful place as alphess

She enjoyed every second of it, having the large Brute so close to her own body, showering her with the affection she now found herself craving so much. The knowledge that Shade was willing to give her what she was wanting, and stay with her to act as mate and protector afterwards left her with a beautiful feeling that had not posessed her mind for a long, long time.
'Kishi.. we need to get the answers from her first, i only arrived after what ever happened, for all we know she could be innocent.'
Sitting close to him, Kishi considered what he was saying. From the way the male had told the story, it had come across as though he had seen Kenya as the traitor, the one whom had been the death of so many Xyla wolves. But now? Now she wasn't so sure. If Shade was questioning the trials over the femoras loyalties, then perhaps she should do? After all, Shade had been there in person, whereas she herself had not. It all left the fae feeling very confused and uncertain, and so, after some silent debate with herself, she decided to ask Shade his opinion on it. "Well, do you think she's innocent?" She asked, sitting and watching him expectantly. Whatever he said, she would agree. In some ways, one could see this as a test. Testing him on whether he would take charge of the situation like an Alpha would. That only bought more fantasies into her head, though. she wished he would take charge of her.
When the Alphess realised that Shade was indeed following her to her proposed 'private place', a warm glow errupted on her insides. The Brute whistled to her teasingly, which only made the fae grin in a bashful way, but she ensured her face was hidden from his view, tongue lolling from her mouth as she padded forward happily. The male that had been padding behind her quickly caught her up, surprising Kishi as she felt his rough tongue travelling from her hip, across her body and up her neck, causing her to shiver happily. 'So beautiful,' she heard him mutter as he glanced directly into her eyes, making her feel shy once more. The fae held his gaze for a couple of seconds, a smile tugging at the edge of her lips, before bounding forward a couple of paces, stopping to throw a flirtacious look in his direction, daring him to come and get her.

The bold warrior felt the fae move over and sit beside him although he did enjoy her company, he also knew that the rules did not allow for their ranks to behave like these, to flirt with one another but tonight..tonight the rules went out the window, her resent actions had proven this, after all she had pushed her responsibilities off on to the betan known as Halgea, he was starting to realize that kishi was more of a rebel then he had first thought of her as, no wolf had ever pushed their work off on another wolf before tonight, kishi had made sure that each wolf pulled their own weight, but tonight she was acting like just another warrior instead of the alphess that she truly was.
There was no way in heck that shade was going to allow this chance slip though his paws, but it was what she asked next that really threw him for a loop, it was not bad enough that she was still next to him, her scent invading his nose every second the smell growing stronger and stronger but now she had something to ask of him?, of course he would answer her no matter what but usually she handled stuff on her own unless it required someone to be taken care or to just be taken off of the territory, he actually felt honored.
"Well, do you think she's innocent?"
The male's eyes widened, he had been given control over another wolf's life, of course there would be a fight with kenya if he decided that she was guilty on the spot, which is what his alphess wanted him to say, he could see the burning hatred that his alphess now held for her once beloved warrior kenya, sure she had shocked everyone but shade did not have enough proof to be one hundred percent sure that it had been kenya that killed the faes, the brute sighed abit as he prepared to give his alphess his answer, "Honestly.. i don't know.. but i say we get her alone just me you and kenya then we sort this thing out, if she did it then she dies if not well we'll see where she stands and if she would come bk to the pack."
Shade felt the young alphess shiver and knew that his very intention had been reached, All the doubts were gone now she was his and only his, he knew this by the way she smiled and the way she moved away from him, he could have her if he wanted but he controlled himself and just smiled softly. honestly he wanted nothing more then to please her in anyway he possibly could, sure he had been closer to her in the past few moments then he had ever been before but still that was seemingly not enough for the bold warrior brute. that is when he spotted the flirtatious look in her eye that along with the smile that was upon her maw was more then enough to cause the brute to bound after the young very attractive alphess.

She did not know what it was, but Kishi was inclined the believe that Kenya was far from innocent. She had been eating a wolf, back there! That was not the usual thing on the menu of a normal canine, and to think that an individual such as she had once been welcomed in the pack territory. It made Kishi feel sick with anger. How dare she show her face in her territory again, after everything that had happened in the past?! It was downright rude, and the Alphess wanted nothing more than to see Kenya punished for everything she had done. She wanted to see her feel the pain that she had caused on so many- something that was not very often said from the maw of the light hearted Xyla Alpha.
'Honestly.. i don't know.. but i say we get her alone just me you and kenya then we sort this thing out, if she did it then she dies if not well we'll see where she stands and if she would come bk to the pack.'
The fae nodded. It all seemed like a good idea, and it would give her a chance to know the truth of this revelation, and to deal the punishment on the girl herself. But to have her come back to the pack? Kishi wasn't sure if she wanted to allow that. Kenya was alive, for now. That meant that in the packs greatest hour of need, she had deserted them, if not more. Did a wolf like that deserve to be welcomed back into the family she betrayed? The fae kept her views quiet though, not wishing to spoilt the moment and begin another argument between her and the Brute she was sharing feelings with. She could remember a short time ago, when all the pair seemed to do was bicker with one another. Everything he had done had irritated her, and he had refused to do as he was told. Now look at them! She was asking him for his opinion on pack matters, and he? Well, he had declared his love for her. Who'd thought?
The fae grinned as the male bounded towards her, lowering her front towards the ground, her tail wagging in the air, facing him with a playful stance. Tonight, she was not the Alphess of the Xyla pack. She was not the protector of lower ranking wolves, not the mother of a pesky teenage male. Tonight, she was purely his.
[Crap reply, sorry 'bout that, im so museless for her right now]

Shade gently nipped her on her rump, all his nervous feelings fading away and finally he seemed to realize that she felt the same way he did, the ranks did not apply tonight all they were were just two wolves enjoying each others company. As he stood up from his sitting position his muscles rippled under every inch of his skin, knocking off all bit of loose debris that had been on his pelt, he did not know what effect this display would have on the young alphess, if any at all but then again he was not trying to impress her, he just enjoyed being with her and honestly his thoughts had started to drift toward perhaps having pups with her, after all they were all alone and it was mating season.
But just as the brute went to make his move, to go over and make her blush and giggle like she had never done before, he heard the one thing he did not want to hear on that night, the sound of approaching wings, Cheen had arrived on the scene causing the warrior to let a soft snarl escape from between his clenched teeth, this was meant to be his alone time with kishi and now this annoying owl had to show up?!, Shade had always been so kind when it came to his guardian never once had he shown any aggression toward the bird, "Shade thank god i found you i hav-". cheen was cut short as he was forced to jump backwards to dodge his master's powerful jaws as they snapped at him.
"What ever it is cheen we will address it tomorrow, can't you see i have company?", shade did not even bother to try and hide what he had said to his guardian from kishi, after all she was one of the rare faes that liked to see him angry, well when it was not pointed at her, without wanting to anger his master anymore cheen quickly took to the skies and soon enough he was out of sight, enabling the massive wolf to turn his attention back to the one that he loved and when he did he found her in a playful position, She wanted to play with him? as if they were mere pups?. this caused him to chuckle softly but shade was not one to back down to a challenge either in battle or in play.
he pounced down into a semiliar stance signaling to her that he was willing to play, but as he did so more of her enchanting scent filled his nose, causing more thoughts to enter his head, though he was a gentlemen when it came to the ones he cared about, he would allow her to make the first move instead of doing so himself and possibly freaking her out, she already knew how he felt about her but still he did not want to risk freaking her out and possibly losing her, shade at some points can come on abit to strong either it be in combat or when trying to court a mate, he just did not know his own strength.

Her eyes roamed over the structure of her muscular Brute as he stood, dust falling from his fur at his every move. It was quite a display, enough to cause the fae's heart to increase its beating pattern rapidly as she observed. He was strong, that much was obvious, and she was sure he would make an amazing protector to any pups that were born, but was he ready for such a commitment? Kishi was not aware of the Brutes past, and so she did not know if he had ever fathered pups before, but she was certain he was capable of doing so. He was too heart-strong to not be a good parent.
A loud noise distracted her from her thoughts, causing Kishi to look up into the skies in search of the source of this interruption. A large Owl was quickly flying towards them, one she distinctly recognised to be Shades companion creature. The bird seemed pretty ruffled up, as though something was bothering him, but his master did not seem at all too happy to see him. The owl was forced to take a flying jump back in order to avoid being snapped in half by Shades angry jaws, a display that once again showed just how powerful the usually gentle Brute could be.
'What ever it is cheen we will address it tomorrow, can't you see i have company?'
A flirty smirk spread across her maw as she watched the owl flap away, her seductive gaze falling onto Shade as she wrapped her tail around her paws. Shouldn't you have seen what he wanted? She asked, a playful grin playing at the edges of her mouth. Kishi wasn't entirely sure what it was that was making her act in this manner, things had never been this way with Karn. With her old mate, the run up to these 'actions' had always been more or less straight forward, but now? This forplay was completely new to her, and it would be a lie to say she wasn't enjoying every minute of it. Padding up to him slowly, she nudged her head under his chin gently, walking around him in a circle once before licking his ear. Well? The Alphess said with a suggestive smile.

"Shouldn't you have seen what he wanted?"
The warrior just flexed his muscles and shrugged as he padded over toward the love of his life kishi,"well" this caused him to chuckle softly as he nuzzled the under side of her muzzle, the last thing he wanted to do right now is listen to another one of his guardian's problems right now, despite how this night had started out which that annoying teenage male questioning his rank,he shook his head and gently gave her a lick on the side of her muzzle."that can wait my love.. this night is all about you"
with that said shade gently put his paw on her side, applying enough force that would cause her to fall over unless she did something to either stop or reverse it, his heart was going about a mile a minute because he had finally reached his goal, he was alone with kishi, the alphess of the xyla pack, a right that was usually only reserved for karn, sure he was dead now but shade still had his doubts about if he would ever be able to fill the paw prints of his mighty alpha. the more he thought about it the more he realized that koiro must of thought that his father is still alive, shade sighed abit but it was not loud enough to draw the attention of the beautiful fae that was close at hand.
he then smiled and looked over at her, his tail starting to sway as he looked away spotting a young buck grazing not to far from where the two wolves stood, at first he was shocked at this deer's either boldness or its stupidity after a few moments had past with no talking the brute spoke up without taking his gaze off of the deer. "perhaps we should get something to eat before things go any further" he turned toward her with a smirk forming on his maw, hinting at the one thing he was sure was on her mind as well as it was on his at the moment.

The words made her heart flutter in circles, giving the effect of butterflies moving in her chest and stomach. She was nervous, anyone could see that, yet delighted at the same time. My love. More things that she had never before been called. Shade and Karn were two completely different characters, she realised. Now that she was here, though, Kishi wasn't about to complain. It was nice to have found someone who would express their feelings in such a way that made the butterflies flutter in her stomach. A nice feeling, one that she now realised she had missed dearly.
The male gently placed his paw on her side, the reason for such action was unknown to the femme, but she enjoyed pressing her body into his touch all the same, preventing herself from toppling over from the force of the strong Brute. Her strong mate. for thats what he would be, after tonight. She'd make sure of that. Her strong Alpha. Nibbling his ear affectionately, Kishi pressed her head into his chin, pressing herself closer to him comfortably, her tail swaying with contentness.
'perhaps we should get something to eat before things go any further.'
Well, he'd finally expressed the very thing that had been playing on her mind for this entire time.. taking things further. A broad smile widened across her maw, which she hid efficiently by buying herself into his thick fur, before looking to see what this food would be. A medium sized Deer was stood not too far away, clearly not at all fazed by their presence. The creature was just beginning to grow its horns, a jourvenile by the looks of things. Not too big, but not too small, either. The fae stood up to her four legs, pacing a couple of steps away from her Brute, with a cheeky smirk on her maw. What, you gonna keep me waiting?
[Done. Sorry it took so long, and that its taken so longggg.]

As she nibbled on his ear the brute was reminded of just how it felt to be alone with the one you love, he allowed her to move closer to him, he went to wrap a paw around her but before he could she had glanced over to the deer, he knew that he would not be able to talk her out of a hunt,What, you gonna keep me waiting?, more thoughts filled his mind none that he could say out loud of course, he just checked out her frame and man was he just tempted to take her right then and there but he would not force her into anything, especially breeding because even if she could forgive him he would never ever be able to forgive himself. just then the one thing he did not want to happen happened, Cheen returned and as he did he spooked the deer.
Without giving cheen the chance to explain his actions,"Oh no you don't!" shade shouted at the deer whom had started to run away, he looked around quickly spotting a path that led the same direction that the deer was headed, he took off pushing himself faster and faster knowing that the deer would have to make a turn soon, cheen landed by the xyla alphess unable to speak with her he was forced to wait for his master to return. As he rushed through the woods he saw the turn that the deer would have to take, and just as planned as the prey went to make the turn shade came out of seemingly nowhere and took the deer down.
He was not restraining himself at all, this was most likely one of the only times that his alphess had seen him go all out, after all for most of the fights karn usually led kishi and the other faes to safety before returning to help out his warriors, not giving the deer a chance to regain its footing shade clamped his teeth down around its throat, the deer struggled for abit managing to inflect a wound to shade's hind left left with its antler before finally passing from the world, not even realising he had been injured in the struggle, shade slowly dragged the kill back to his lovely mate.
As he arrived it took cheen very little time to realize that his master had been hurt, "Shade.. your leg..", the head warrior just snorted and replied."i'm fine cheen, now why have you disturbed us yet again", shade had no reason to hide what was said to his owl, after all if he could not trust kishi the fae who was about to become his mate, then who could he trust?, the owl hooted in protest but then gave in and told his master about the loners that had invaded the pack densite a short while after they had left."Hmm.." shade said. "that is abit troublesome..do they not realize what land they are on?"

The red fae could feel him watching her, feel his eyes grazing her body, and she lavished herself in it, a suggestive smile creeping upon her lips as she flicked her tail around her front paws, watching him out of the corner of her eyes. She thought then, by the needy glint in his eye, that things were going to become more interesting, regarding him giving her what she was waiting for. Afterall, she had voiced the fact that that was what they were here, and had also made the disaproval of going hunting instead of him pleasuring her in a way that only he was capable of openly known. That didn't mean, however, that she wasn't willing to join in on his fore-play. It was all going to lead up to the big night anyway, and so long as he was near her, she felt safe. So long as she knew that they would fall asleep in eachother embrace under the stars, after committing actions that certified their love for one another, then she was happy.
It was then that Shades Owl companion flew into the equation, startling the young stag and sending it into a frenzied run. With a snarl, Shade was bounding after it using his top speed, running into the forest and out of her view. Kishi found herself thankful that the Owl could not hear nor see what she was thinking in her mind, for the explicit thoughts were much too graphic for her to want to share, not even with her own companion. The whole idea of these creatures being able to hear every single thing that went off in the minds of their wolves did not appeal to the fae in the slightest. She liked having the security of her own mind, liked knowing that the things she thought to herself were kept to only herself- otherwise it could have long ago resulted in war and argue; not something she wanted to cause.
Sitting awkwardly with the owl by her side, Kishi waited patiently for the return of her future king. After a short delay, shade came padding back, dragging the carcass of the now dead stag behind him. It was an impressive display, one that made her yearn for his company even more. Here, she was seeing proof that he could provide for her pack, and more importantly, he could provide for their offspring. The male was limping slightly, and upon closer inspection it was clear that his leg had been wounded. 'i'm fine cheen, now why have you disturbed us yet again?' Kishi was about to inquire with alarm about the injury, but it seemed the Owl had beaten her to it. 'Hmm.. that is abit troublesome..do they not realize what land they are on?' The Alphess frowned, only hearing half on the conversation. she gathered that somebody had intruded upon her lands, bringing her away from the thoughts of her Brute and back into leader-mode for a few seconds. Care to tell me whats going on? she inuired patiently, with a smile.

"It seems some loners have wandered into our lands my love" he then moved over and slowly ran his rongue over her soft neck, "But your beta has it well in paw" he chuckled softly to himself, he would be damned if he allowed kishi to get stressed out, especially tonight, this was her night, this was her night to relax and enjoy herself and he was going to make sure that she did just that, he rubbed against her trying to get her mind off of the loners.
he then gently nipped at her rump, his intentions becoming crystal clear, even a first year would know where this night was headed, Cheen shook his head and screeched before flying off clearly upset at his masters choice, shade just huffed at the owl then continued to try and get his fae back into the romantic mood, trying to get her back into the mood he had worked so hard for all night,
As he winked at her, he could not help but blush slightly, after all he had always dreamed of this but never thought it would actually happen, he was about to mate with his alphess, a right that was only for the alpha male, if they did this then he would become her mate and earn the right to call himself the Alpha male of the xyla pack, would she catch onto his hints? if so would she accept him as her mate and alpha.

'It seems some loners have wandered into our lands my love. But your beta has it well in paw.'
Although she held no doubt that Halgea was more than capable of controlling any situation that may show its ugly head, Kishi still worried. The fact that strangers were wadering her land, wolfs that she knew next to nothing about, was beyond unnerving. What if they were some sort of strange, murdering monsters, or something? Wolves that got violent for no particular reason were not uncommon around these parts, especially with rumours of Zentha rallying a little gang together. What if they were followers, and they decided to attack? No. Halgea would have the situation under control. She was a good Beta, did her job correctly. And Frost was there, and Koiro too. Nothing bad could happen. Not really. Shade didn't seem to upset over the fact, and the Owl wasn't making much of a commotion over it. She was probably just over thinking things.
Yet still, even as the strong Brute rubbed his body against her own, causing her to shiver with delight, the fae couldn't help but be nervous. Were they doing the right thing, by leaving Halgea incharge? Maybe we should- Kishi stopped mid sentence as she felt Shade shift, and then whimpered with pleasure when he nipped at her rump. The owl took off with a screech, and any doubts or worries flew from her mind, to be replaced by excitement and nervousness. She knew now that this was it. They were going to do the deed, seal the deal and all that. She did not bother try and hide the excitement that was swelling inside of her, nor did she attempt to conceal the nervousness. Her mind fogged as she struggled for something to say, aware that she was still the higher ranked wolf here, and that to make them equal, she would have to give him the go ahead.
Flicking her tail and padding in a circle around him once, then Alphess tugged at his ear gently with her teeth once, smiling nervously, and then stopping, whispering something quietly to him about being her king, before angling her body in line with his, eager to get things started, and to enjoy the night as it played out. She was his toy, for him to do with as he pleased. She would enjoy his actions and relish in his company. And when the night was over, he would be her king. He would be the Alpha.
[I'd like to get this thread wrapped up as soon as possible, so that we can focus on the others and not get muddled up about it all haha]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i42.tinypic.com/1zgvmnl.png] Shade just inhaled her scent and let her mess with him, but really caught him off-guard, is when she whispered to him about being her king, really? she wanted him as her new alpha male?, well he would gladly take the position but it was clear to him and he thought it would be to her aswell, that koiro would never accept this, not that it really mattered, after all she was the alphess and her word was law, by the time he shook his head and came out of his own little word.
He noticed that she had aligned her body with his, this made the larger male smirk but it also confirmed what he had just been thinking about, she wanted him as her mate and she wanted him right then and there, all the thoughts of having to deal with koiro and his rude attitude disappeared from his mind, as he padded a little closer to the fae before actually mounting her, he made sure that his weight would not be to much for her to bear.
~pitch blackness~
Shade dismounted the fae as he panted softly, he laid down nearby to recover from their little "meeting", he could not help but to have respect for her, even after the act that they just committed, clearly it was a big no no for wolves of his rank to mate with their alphas, but kishi was different, to him she was more then just his alpha, his commanding wolf, she was his mate now and no one besides her could convince him otherwise, not even her annoying son koiro.
{p.s: you can end it in your post, shade is about spent anyway}
