Suko drifted thought the grass, no clear destination in mind, lost in thought. She hadn't seen her pack mates around lately, the pack wasn't very big and ran the risk of being taken over, and she still hadn't found a mate to share her worries and joy with. At the rate she was going, she was going to grow old and pass away before having any pups. She breathed a heavy sigh. It was really looking down for her. Maybe she should have stayed with her father. At least with him she had a steady life, even if it was a little to controlled.
Suko stopped walking and looked at the sky. Time had passed since she left her lands and night had fallen, blanketing the sky with thousands of stars shining in the black velvet sky. She sat and watched the stars, lost in their brilliance till a rustle off to her left caught her attention. Jumping up she crouched into a defensive stance, ready to fight or flee as the situation called for it.
