Jagged pebbles crunched beneath her paws as she paced over the dry ground. Her breathing was slow, her chest cavity inflating to the maximum before she let the air out again. This place - this dead place - made her feel nervous. The fluttering of a bird caused her to yelp and it took several minutes to fully calm herself. The she-wolf was small and white.
