~*Satarah*~
it had been about two days since she had seen other wolves. it seemed the farther she went from the pack lands the less wolves there were, and as of right now that was ok. mating season had arrive she wasnt quite two but she was almost there that didnt mean that she couldnt have pups, if something happened, nore that she was just something pretty to look at. she was just as capable as any female. so that meant this time of year could potentially be dangerous. rogue males may be on the prowl for a lone female or unguarded pack female. she had to be careful not just for them but other wolves looking to cause trouble.
this place was thick with mud and slop her silvery pelt was getting caked and moving around was difficult, but her scent was hidden well and lots of things do wander in her and get stuck enough to drown so there is lots to eat. little patches of solid ground offered resting spots. there was a farely large spot that satarah decided to stop on. the grass was very long and green. the silver fae rolled around trying to clean some of the mud off. then stopped and observed her surroundings and began wondering if she should turn back and maybe head towards the pack territories. maybe she should stop by the Xyla pack lands and maybe meet shade's alphess, possibly join. she would be safer there. sure any pack could do it but so far the Xyla was the only pack that seemed welcoming. she flicked her silver tail back and forth the color of mud stained the lower half of her body but it would come out with a swim. she would just have to find a nice clean place after she escaped this swamp. actually maybe she should just color herself so she didnt stand out. she would also mask her smell for a good amount of time. she decided in the end against it though because it would be a pain to clean, and these lands were unpredictable.
she stood on the patch of green and examined her surroundings. little patches dotted the sludge every where she didnt know why she didnt think of it before but she could have leaped from each patch instead of getting dirty. she sighed deeply her midnight orbs continued to look over the land. wolves hadnt been here ever or for a very long time. maybe this would be the best hunting or foraging grounds in winter the sludge would freeze over making everything solid and lots of seeds and grasses would be left because of how hard they were to get to so this must be were the animals go in winter. they escape predators, and have plenty to eat. within a week the silver fae would be of age for a mate, and owning land. she was already in heat but she knew no pups would be safe without a pack, but now if pups would be the case or starvation in general she knew were to check this winter. if she joined a pack there pups would be well fed.
pack life sounded good. she was tired of being alone. the skyla seemed to get offended easily, were grumpy, and had tempers. she probably wouldnt achieve much there and would be made into a mean or something for there pups because she was to gentle and kind. as for the Xyla they seemed perfect. they were kind and considerate. very family like which was exactly what satarah longed for. as for the other two she knew nothing about them.

Dance with me? His head was spinning, breaths coming out in ragged pants. Why had he agreed to this?! A wolf jumped out of the darkness, his bloodied jaws snapping at his throat. Raphin yelped, more of a cry for help then a startled noise. The wolf stepped closer and closer, his body seeming to grow in size everytime he moved a paw forward. The young Brute swept a frantic glance around the scene, looking for any means of excape, his eyes roaming over the viscious fights that were taking place, until finally stopping at his mother, lying bloody and dead by his side. Raphin whimpered, wanting more than anything to get out of here, to fly as fast as he could, any way to remove himself from this tortured mess. But he could not leave his mothers side. Not when it was his fault she was dead.
The wolf grew closer and closer, his canines snapping down, again and again, until the wolf was ready to attack. He crouched, gearing himself up for the lunge, when CRASH. Another male came carearing out of nowhere, lunging straight at the first wolf, tearing at his throat with his large jaws. He then turned to Raphin, a wicked glint shining madly in his eye. "Father?" Raphin squeaked, terrified, shrinking, somehow getting smaller and smaller, until he was no longer a fully grown wolf, but the a tiny pup, the age he had been when he had last seen his murderous parent. No! How was he supposed to kill him like this?! That was what he had come here for, to find his father, and kill him. Instead, his mother had appeared infront of him, only to be savagely mauled by another wolf.
His father stepped towards him, his eyes turning from the pale green they were, to a glowing red. "Father, please." Raphin squeaked again, but it was too late. His father laughed, and then lunged at him, jaws heading straight for his-
Raphin woke with a start from his tortured nightmare, gaining consciousness at the very same time he always did, as his father was about to kill him, intent on finishing off what he had started. This occured every single morning, ever since he could remember, ever since he'd been left in this cruel world, alone. The details of the dream were often wrong, mind. His mother hadn't died at the hands of a wolf, althought Raphin still saw her death as his fault. No, she'd starved to death, sacrificing her meals for him, and eventually giving up her life, comfortably in her sleep, snuggled up next to him. That was when Raphin had first sworn to himself that he would be the cause of his fathers death.
The Brute lifted his head, scanning the area in which he had chosen to sleep. It looked alot different than it had last night, given by the fact that he could actually see now. God, what a horrible place. The ground was sloppy, it was hard to tell what was solid, and what was not, and then smell! The smell was hideous, a rancid stench of death and rotting animals hung heavily in the air, making his eyes water slightly. Jesus, he had to get out of here, preferably without getting his pelt messy, too.
After about half a days walking, Raphin came to a conclusion. This Marsh was never ending! Was he even on Kongrai anymore, or had he died in his sleep and gone to hell or something? The Brute waded through the Sludge, careful to never stop moving to prevent himself from getting stuck. Finally, he came across a small bit of- almost- dry land, and was quick to clamber up onto it. Raphin took a second to get his strength back, before taking in a proper inspection of his new surroundings. The bad smell was still there, but there was something else too. A fae. And not just any fae, but a fae in heat. That scent announced to him that this lady was ready to mate, but Raphin shook his head, once, twice, to wrid himself of the fogging that was sure to cloud his mind, once that intoxicating scent got its grip on him. He knew what effect this season could have on wolves, both male and female. Brutes would go mad looking for some female company, and the hostility between rogues wouldn grow to a point where each male was just a walking time bomb, waiting to explode. Raphin wouldn't allow that to happen, though. His mother had taught him, trained him, even to keep his manners at all times, no matter what the situation, in a frantic attempt to prevent him turning into the younger image of his father.
Sure enough, the femme came into view, and out of curiosity more than anything, Raphin trudged in her direction. It wasn't like he wasn't interested in mating with a fae, because he was, he definitely was, he just did not want to rush into things. If he got a femme pregnant before he was ready, then who knew what would happen? It was not a risk he wanted to take, and so had told himself last year, that he was to find the right mate, one who he would care for with all his life, before diving into that sort of thing. She was pretty, though, this femme before him. Her what-looked-like-it-should-have-been-white fur was dirty, presumably from the mud that surrounded them, but he could still see her outline, what she would look like with her white fur. Pretty. "Hello?" He called out, in the gentlest voice possible.
Notes: S'my first post with him, so my muse is bursting at the seams hahaa.

~*Satarah*~ the breeze continued to blow slightly and the land was unbearibly peaceful. an ocassional crow sounded but that was it. the silver fae was just about to doze off again when the smell of another came to her muzzle. it didnt smell like a skyla or an xyla so perhaps they were from one of the other two or was also a loner. as they got closer she could smell that it was a he and he was coming straight towards her. she wonder if her heat was luring him here of if he would accidently wander opon her. soon the sounds of his feet plopping about in the sludge. he was definately getting closer. she decided not to move. he may just pass by if he didnt see or smell her.
the plopping stop and a gentle "hello" exited his maw and his handsome lyric came to her ears. this could be bad! she thought to herself what if he was one of them forcers she came out here to hide from. her ear swished to him as did her facials. her midnight blue orbs examined his dark chocolate pelt, with white under belly. he sure was striking. he also was large and muscular, but not a pure bred it looked as if he were a mix between a grey wolf like herself and a mexican wolf. he also look a few years older he was probably at his prime. she began thinking to herself again he sure is handsome.... wait no cant fall for his looks... looks dont matter...and im not ready for pups ehh what am i going to do...... after a few moment she finally stood and turned herself around and spoke softly hello.. what brings you here the brute seemed nice, but instead of standing easy and ready to accept what happened like she had been with the skyla female she stayed standing ready to run if need be. that would be difficult though with the terrain. her rose buds were erected forward she was wait for a sign to run. what if he was nice though maybe they could travel together and get to know each other. they could probably do better hunting, and possibly become mates later on. she would be fine with that.
she move a little closer. this brute looked like he hadnt gotten good sleep in awhile, and she knew what that was like. nightmares, strange sounds, needing to be alert and memories have all kept her awake finally caught up on sleep by staying out in this swamp. the smell and long grasses hid her and if anyone ever approached she could hear them easily in the silence. she thought about saying something about his sleeping problems but she didnt want to affend him nore did she know how he would react with just her hello and question. Occ:lol mine is getting better

Raphin lifted one paw off of the ground slightly, shaking it gently to rid his pads of the foul sludge that littered the ground, all the while keeping an eye on the femme he had encountered, wary that she may be one of these 'Skyla' wolves he had heard so much about. He flinched ever so slightly when she moved, but soon relaxed again, relieved to see she was merely turning to see whom it was that had joined her comapany. The Brute cursed himself silently for being so jumpy, just as he always did when in the presence of another wolf. Raphin didn't even know why he acted in this way, he was a perfectly good fighter, and had no problem keeping himself out of trouble. He was a grown adult, for god sakes, he knew how to take care of himself. Besides, this femme didn't look as though she had any intentions over causing a scene. Thankfully, he'd had years of practice at keeping his little flinches to a minimum, so had nearly perfected the act.
'Hello.. What brings you here?'
She had a nice voice; perfectly pitched, the male noticed, although he wasn't quite sure why this had come to his attention. Perhaps because of mating season? The femmes body was covered in, now he could get a better look, not white, but a silvery colour, except for black tips on her ears. And her eyes! They were a sight Raphin had never seen before, a dark, almost midnight looking blue, that shone slightly in the sun. Truly beautiful. Except he shouldn't be noticing these things, definitely not. It was healthy for him, and Raph could not take the risk of turning into his father. Never.
The Brute smiled in an attempt to be friendly. "I'm just passing through, making my way towards the shoreline, the place where the moon stays close to the waterline." There, it was out, facts that he hadn't even wanted to admit to himself, never mind to a wolf he had known for, what, a minute? He had planned to journey to that side of the Island for a long time, to try and speak with his mother, see if the rumours where actually true, and it was possible, but only just realising now that that was where he was heading today. He paused for a second, debating with himself whether or not he should send a question back to her. "What about you?"
The femme moved closer to him, and again Raphin flinched, a nervous reaction he had had since he could even remember. Possibly a result of having nobody else to look out for him, although he was fairly sure no other lone wolves had this problem. After all, this fae before him seemed pretty composed, even though this season could turn out as very dangerous for one such as her. Who knew what the Rogues of these lands were capable of? Their could be a sick minded male around every corner, her beautiful scent doing nothing but luring them closer. Well, Raphin was a gentleman. He wouldn't allow anything to happen to her, not whilst she was in his company.
ooc: made an account for him :3

the silver fae examined him closely. she notice he was a little jumpy which suggested he definately spent much time alone. she watched as the brute shook the sludge from his paw. it was amusing. she eased a bit knowing he was just as nervous of her as she was of him. her black tip rose buds flicked a bit as a fly began pestering her. as it flew around her face she got it with one nip at the air. she felt bad but she only got it wet with her tongue so it couldnt bug her. it was long before she relize how messy she was and so unconcerned compaired to him speaking gently again in a some what embarassed tone he..he.. im usually not so messy i thought this was a good place to hide while in heat. the rotting smell masks mine pretty well, and well... my pelt is so bright so i thought getting it dirty would help me hide, but that didnt work she pushed out a bit of a smile. and flattened her ears a bit in an almost bashful way. as her tail flicked back and forth small piece of sludge and dirt flung off. she really needed to clean up she didnt like being dirty. when this stuff dried it would harden her fur and that wouldnt be pleasent.
so he was just passing through... and he is heading towards the beach where i just came from i could perhaps join him. it wont be so bad with company, and we both could clean up. a few moments passed andshe spoke up again still gentle for it was very rare for the fae to sound cruel infact she has never had too yet. i just came from there, it was beautiful. as of right now before you showed up i was thinking of maybe entering pack territory, and maybe trying to join one... satarah saw him flinch once more. a soft smiled came to her elbony lips. this guy must have as rough as i do maybe more she crouched down a little and scooted closer to him. her black tip rose buds flattened almost submissively. if he did something impulsive she would spring up in the other direction and be on the run. your a loner correct? she concentrated her midnight pools on him im guessing because of how uneasy you are, or you live through a tramatic experience?once she was maybe two feet away she rose to her feet and sat. a small smirk still laid itself against her elbony lips. her midnight pools still swirled about his figure. dispite his flinchiness he was definately stong, and handsome. she was noticebly smaller and more petite. that didnt mean if he out of no where tried something she wouldnt defend herself. he could probably kill her but she was at a good spot to get his face or neck. so hopefully he would keep being a nice guy, andthere would be no need for her fangs to fix him.

'he..he.. im usually not so messy i thought this was a good place to hide while in heat. the rotting smell masks mine pretty well, and well... my pelt is so bright so i thought getting it dirty would help me hide, but that didnt work.'
Raph chuckled at her tone, it sounded almost as though she was embarassed. He could understand where she was coming from, well, as much as a male could. If he were to be a fae, then he would have definitely understood .. anyway, what he was trying to get his head through was the fact that he knew what she was saying. "Well, perhaps I should tell you that I could smell your scent before i could actually see you." The mexican cross told her with a smile, feeling much more relaxed now that she wasn't so tensed up. Her ears flattened to the back of her head, and Raph couldn't help but laugh slightly, not understanding why she was so embarassed .She was a beautiful creature, he could see that, even though the mud she was covered in to unsuccessfully hide her shining pelt.
' i just came from there, it was beautiful. as of right now before you showed up i was thinking of maybe entering pack territory, and maybe trying to join one..'
The Brutes ears flicked in surprise at what she had just said. Entering pack territory? Gosh, that was very brave of her. Raphin had heard alot about the packs.. well, the three that he knew of, anyway; he wasn't sure if their were more than that. The Skyla, the Xyla, and the Liazo; although as far as he was aware, the Liazo no longer existed? He'd been told that they spent all of their time arguing amongst themselves, fighting over territory and food, and, if he was honest with himself; Raphin didn't see the appeal to that. But she knew the way to the shoreline! That was a good thing, because he had absolutely no idea where she was right now. This Marsh all seemed to look the same, in his eyes, and the wolf was certain he would only end up travelling in circles. "Then perhaps I could ask for you to accompany me there, if its not too rude? I have no idea where i'm going, if i'm honest."
'You are a loner, correct? im guessing because of how uneasy you are, or you live through a tramatic experience?'
Raphin shifted uneasily, suddenly feeling nervous over the way the conversation had changed. She was right, of course, he was a loner. Had nobody who would look after him, and nobody for him to look after himself. But she was also right on the second part. He concidered his past to be pretty traumatic, growing up with only his mother, learning of what his father did, and then having his mother die, right next to him. "Your right on both points, unfortunately." He answered, wanting to make it clear that he did not wish to go into the subject, not when he had only just met this wolf, but all the while keeping his manners in tact. "You are a loner aswell? Which pack would you choose to serve under?" Raphin asked politely, in a shy attempt to make some conversation.

~*Satarah*~ Satarah tiltled her head slightly when he pointed out he could smell her before he could see her. that was just her luck she might aswell keep herself clean then if not even rotting sludge couldnt hide it. well then i guess covering myself in this was a waste of time she giggled a bit thinking of all the trouble she went through over this. she watched his reaction to the other thing she said. i guess even he knows how risky it is she sighed deeply. and continued to watch him
"Then perhaps I could ask for you to accompany me there, if its not too rude? I have no idea where i'm going, if i'm honest."
she was partially estatic. she was going to head back anyway but now she wouldnt be alone. this meant any males would think twice and other females who were just cruel and unusual wouldnt bother. if anything did happen though she didnt expect him to risk his own life for her they just met, and well that would be very lucky for her if he did because he would be the second male who did so in the last week. she just wasn't the type to be so lucky. usually she had the worse end of things. maybe this place meant real change for her. once again she parted her elbony lips and her soft tones entered the atmosphere sure i was going back that way, i need to remove my mud mask... she smiled again, she didnt want to seem so eager to travel with him. she was scared he would think of her as a little pup considering the age difference. she admitted to herself she probably had growing up to do. she saw how uneasy he got with her question and she felt bad. she continued to watch him and tilted her tiara at the next question. it was a good one.
"You are a loner aswell? Which pack would you choose to serve under?" i met a skyla female... when i was at the beach she was very threatning. i believe her name was cinder.. and a brute from Xyla came and basically presented me with there fued, and informed me on what they may do to me. ofcoarse i dont know if my confrontation would have continued if i would have been injured its possiible the brute exagerated, but once the vixen had left and he and i were alone he seemed nice. he was a warrior in the xyla and his name was shade. he said if i was ever in the packlands to stop by the xyla and say hello and maybe meet his alphess. so i was thinking of going there because they were so welcoming. the fae waited amoment before speaking again if you want i can travel with you for awhile and perhaps we can find a pack to join i still want to explore my options anyways

'Well then i guess covering myself in this was a waste of time.'
Raphin chuckled heartily, the fact that she felt comfortable enough to make minor jokes causing him to relax completely. Indeed, covering herself like that would have been a waste of time, the fact that he had still smelt her providing proof of this. Still, it didn't hurt to try, and it had been a good attempt. After all, this sludge really did smell quite foul, and Raphin couldn't help but think she must be quite brave, to have the guts to cover herself in the stinking mess.
'Sure i was going back that way, i need to remove my mud mask...'
Raphin smiled, hiding the joy he felt inside at the sound of her words. At heart, he was still only a pup, and wandering these lands alone for the past two years really had taken its toll on the male. He missed the company, so the opportunity to be travelling with somebody, even if only for a small while, excited him deeply. The Brute studied his new companion, trying to place an age to her face. She had the size of a fully grown wolf, maybe slightly smaller, though not by much, but their was something about her, something that led Raphin to believe she was still a fairly young wolf. The thought triggered something in his mind, a hidden desire to protect those younger than himself, just as his mother had taught him to.
'i met a skyla female... when i was at the beach she was very threatning. i believe her name was cinder.. and a brute from Xyla came and basically presented me with there fued, and informed me on what they may do to me. ofcoarse i dont know if my confrontation would have continued if i would have been injured its possiible the brute exagerated, but once the vixen had left and he and i were alone he seemed nice. he was a warrior in the xyla and his name was shade. he said if i was ever in the packlands to stop by the xyla and say hello and maybe meet his alphess. so i was thinking of going there because they were so welcoming. if you want i can travel with you for awhile and perhaps we can find a pack to join; i still want to explore my options anyways.'
The Brute listened to her story, intrigued but at the same time wary of what she was saying. Skyla and Xyla, yes, those were the two packs he knew still existed, and what she had to say tied in well with what he knew of them. Skyla were a hostile group, infamous for their cruel ways, and bloodthirsty leaders, whereas the Xyla, who from what he had learned was lead by a sibling of one of the Skyla alphas, were peaceful, a friendly family who wouldn't hesitate to bring help, if it was needed. However, his mother had always made sure to keep a distance between the pair, and the pack territories, so as a result, after she had died, Raphin had been careful to avoid getting too close to their lands, but now, for this young fae, he was going to walk straight into them! "I have no desire to join one of the big families, but I will acompany you on your journey anyway, to make sure you get there safely." Raph said with a smile, knowing his mother would of been proud of what he had decided to do.

The femme slowly padded into the marsh, making sure to step in the right places to avoid falling into the muck, As she made her way though the land the stench of death filled the air but she shook her head and continued to pad though the area repatedly thinking to herself. "it will be over soon..it will be over soon..". but just as she thought it would go on and on forever, a couple of new scents broke though the stench and invaded her nose. The first scent she knew very well it was a brute by the name of Raphin, she had run into this brute a couple times before but he always seemed alil weird in her mind.
But the second scent was new to her, but it was definitely a fae. Raphin was meeting with a fae?!.. this for some reason had upset the femme to the point that she didn't even want to talk to him anymore, let alone talk to his "friend" but she would have to pass by them to get to the shore and she was going to do just that. if he wanted to talk she didn't and she would keep walking. if that hurt his lil feelings then fine by her, Crystal was not a wolf to scorn but she had no idea why him meeting with another fae would bother her.
As she moved into the same area as them, she could see them across the way and they were chatting about something. but she didn't even stop to see what it was about as she continued on her path. slowly walking right on past them heading toward the shore. she really wanted to get out and wash the stench from her pelt before it could do anything to change her beautiful scent. she sneezed abit and shook her head, she couldn't stand the scent that was in the land.

[glow=white,2,300]~*Satarah*~[/glow] "I have no desire to join one of the big families, but I will acompany you on your journey anyway, to make sure you get there safely."
she thought a moment as he said this. it seemed the same drama between the two packs she didnt want to be involved with was what was keeping him from joining a pack. it seemed maybe joining another would be best, but what others were there?
she heard of the skyla and xyla. There were tails of two others one was the liazo which where typically thought of as assasins so while she was good at precision she didnt like to kill. the liazo was pretty much a middle man for the main enemies so they're always involved. the last pack she had heard of was, well she forgot the name, but not much is known about them except what they do, and thats not get involved. Thats It! maybe we could find the fourth pack, not much is known about them though and thats because they dont get involved in what other packs are doing she thought a bit more then added the problem there though is that because not much is known, we dont know there personality, or numbers, or how welcoming they are. then it struck her they still didnt know each others names. it seemed all her meetings start with out introductions. she laughed a bit and said i believe we've forgotten to introduce ourselves, Im satarah
the silver fae shook her pelt again. much of the larger clumps flew and splattered. wait. that sound wasnt her mud clumps. it was someone else. satarah was so busy talking the handsome dark chocolate brute infront of her she didnt realize the scent of the newwolf nearing them. her blue pools swished to the side and she cocked her head ever so slightly. thats when she saw the grey marble fae as she passed by. it was obvious she was in a rush to get to the beach. no doubt she had seen them, but seemed to be trying to not catch attention. she was pretty. satarah love how the shades a grey mixed in her pelt. she let out a small growl not a threatning one, but one to get her attention. she then spoke out loud enough for the fae to here but still gently hello there miss, would you like company to the beach?
satarah tensed up a bit again. it was possible this fae wasn't nice, she smelled like a loner but you never know here with the stench. she could be skyla or maybe once was. even if she wasnt she still could be threatning. she could also be scared of the brute afterall it is mating season. just by wandering by one could not tell his intentions. satarah stood a little unesy. why did she open her mouth. that was unlike her to do something without thinking. usually life was like a game of chess thinking of out comes before they happen. i was just being friendly... so i guess its not too impulsive she thought to herself.
even if that fae wasnt pleasent. she probably wouldnt do anything especially with a brute standing by satarah. unless this was planned... and they knew each other. now im just over thinking and getting my nerves jumpy she tensed a bit more, and made sure she could see the brute out of the corner of her eye, even if she wasnt directly looking at him.

'maybe we could find the fourth pack, not much is known about them though and thats because they dont get involved in what other packs are doing, the problem there though is that because not much is known, we dont know there personality, or numbers, or how welcoming they are. '
Raphin considered what she was saying. A fourth pack? Well, that was certaily a surprise, one he had in no way expected to hear, if he was honest with himself. He had heard stories of the three packs, but never of a fourth one. When he had spoken to other one wolves, when his mother had told him stories when he was little, it had always been 'the three packs'. But a fourth? It was definitely intriguing. "Excuse my rudeness, but, theirs a fourth pack? Really?"
'I believe we've forgotten to introduce ourselves, Im satarah.'
The Brute laughed, realising she was correct. Here they were, having a nive, friendly conversation, agreeing to accompany one another on their little journeys, when all the time, they didn't even know eachothers names! Satarah .. It was a pretty name, and seemed to somehow suit the femme, in an odd way. Now that he knew what to call her, it felt as though he had known her all his life, not just for the past 15 or so minutes, a fact that both relaxed and excited him. "Lovely name you have there," Raphin said politely, smiling, "I am Raphin."
'hello there miss, would you like company to the beach?'
It wasn't until Satarahs ears perked and her head swiveled that Raphin even realised they were no longer alone. He directed his auds to where she was looking, only then spotting another wolf, walking at a brisk pace no too far from where the pair stood. He sniffed the air, breathing in the scent, which seemed to trigger some sort of memory, somewhere in the back of his mind. He knew this wolf, only from where he could not place, all the male knew was that that scent was definitely familiar.
Ooc: I'm assuming you want to play this out as if the two already know eachother, Crystal?

The femme stopped in her tracks as she realized that she had of indeed been spotted. she knew the brute and decided to glance over at the fae, she didn't seem like much but crystal had assumed that about another wolf before. in fact it was alil bit before she had met the brute that now stood less then two feet away. she smiled softly and looked at the brute as she began to speak her voice so sweet and friendly " Ah.. Raphin its nice to see you again... but whos your friend?..". the fae continued to scan the other female's body checking out and trying to see if she had any skills.
hello there miss, would you like company to the beach?'
As she shook out her seemingly perfect pelt she glanced over at the fae once more. before smiling softly once more as she wanted to make sure that the fae would indeed be her friend after all she did like the idea of moving in a group instead of alone even through she was a loner and she had over heard the fae's lil plan to actually join one of the packs. something that crystal herself had been considering to do.she started to speak once more " Uh... Sure my name is Crystal by the way". She smiled and winked playfully at the brute in a friendly manner.
As she looked away and then back at the ground a shy grin on her maw now. As she started to speak again "Uh.. i couldn't help but over hear that you two were thinking of the fourth pack, the question is Exousia pack the one you speak of?..". she shook out her pelt once more before walking over to the group but for some reason she didn't take her eyes off the brute for a few seconds as she then looked at the fae and whispered "It seems im not the only one who thought of hiding here.. but it doesn't seem to help..".
ooc: Yeah.. if that is okay with you of course after all he is your wolf.

"Excuse my rudeness, but, theirs a fourth pack? Really?"
the silver fae was surprised he hadnt heard of it yet a nodded and said yes there are rumors hopefully there true the name has sort of slipped my mind though she smiled a bit as she watched him also absorb the fact that they hadnt introduced themselves
"Lovely name you have there"
what was really lovely was his smile. if he kept it up he could melt her heart. or was that just her heat and the type of season talking. his politness wasnt bad either. she continued to smile maybe her thoughts were making her or she was just in a smiley mood, but when his name came out she didnt quite know what to say "I am Raphin." your name is handsome it suits you is that what she wanted to say? perhaps not quite like that, but what could she do now that she already said it. she flicked her tail back and forth a bit more. she was happy she found a friend maybe two, but she didnt quite realize she was wagging her tail.
oh yes thats right the fae of marble greys. it seems satarah indeed had grabbed her attention. " Ah.. Raphin its nice to see you again... but whos your friend?.." so she knew raphin? maybe this was a trap. there i go over thinking again... she thought to herself. the fae seemed to be staring each other down. satarah watched the marble fae and no doubt the marble fae was looking at the silver on across the way. the return smile melted the bit of ice. this fae was friendly. satarah smiled back her tail which slowed a bit in wagging began to do so a little more rapidly. she still didnt realize it though. the fae did ask whom satarah was just as she decided to answer though the fae introduced herself, along with agreeing to travel with them. " Uh... Sure my name is Crystal by the way" the wink added pazazz. satarah spoke softly im satarah sorry i didnt answer sooner satarah was really excited she began working on calming herself down. it wasnt hard she just had to think. thinking usually brought her back to thinking about her family she barely knew. which capped her excitement, her tail slowed. then the other fae said something that raise it a bit more again "Uh.. i couldn't help but over hear that you two were thinking of the fourth pack, the question is Exousia pack the one you speak of?..". satarah added calmly though yes thats it! thats the name that slipped my mind.
satarah watch as the fae called crystal approached them now and almost flinched when the fae whispered "It seems im not the only one who thought of hiding here.. but it doesn't seem to help.." satarah wasnt expecting it but she laughed a bit and agree yes great minds think alike but the all powerful nose beats all during mating season... the silver fae continued to smile some more. no longer would she feel lonely, nore lose sleep. she may not even need to join a pack if this possy sticks together.

So there was a fourth pack, according to what Satarah was saying. It seemed strange to the Brute that he had never heard of this new group of wolves, but didn't really come as that much of a surprise anymore. Afterall, he had spent his life avoiding the hectic lives of the packs at all casts, why shouldn't he have missed out on this peice of information? Especially if they were a relatively new pack. Infact, come to think of it in that way, it all made perfect sence. But to venture into the pack territories, trying to find this mystery group? That was a completely different thing. They didn't know anything about this pack! For all the pair knew, they could be worse than the Skyla. It could be made up of a completely new breed of 'viscious.' He would go though, Raphin knew this well. He had promised to accompany her, and one thing the Brute did not do, was break a promise. Absolutely not.
'Your name is handsome it suits you'
Raphin smiled, heat rising in his cheeks, suddenly feeling very embarassed after her complimentary remark, not quite knowing what to do with the attention. He opened his mouth to thank her, but another voice caught his attention, his head swiveling around to see whom it belonged to. It was a femme, presumably the one who had been the source of the scent that filled the pungeant air. He recognised her from somewhere .. he just couldn't place it.
'Ah.. Raphin its nice to see you again... but whos your friend?'
Raphs eyes widened for a moment, his ears standing to attention, startled that she knew his name. Then he remembered. Of course! How could he have forgotten? He'd met this grey furred femme several times before, although it had been a long time ago. The very first year that he'd been alone, in fact, and she had been incredibly young at the time. The Brute eyed her, taking in how much she had changed. Sure, she had grown, her body was alot bigger, and she looked a hell of alot more grown up now, but she still carried the same shade of fur, one he remembered well now. Crystal her name was. He winced as a breif moment of tention passed between the two fae, unsure of why this was happening, but it left as quickly as it had appeared, and they both resumed friendly, smiling faces again. "Nice to see you again, too." He said politely, nodding a friendly greeting.
The dark coloured Brute listened as the two femmes in his company exchanged words, giving their names, and then quickly turning the conversation onto the pack him and Satarah had been discussing only seconds ago. Exousia. Nope, he definitely had not heard that one before. Still, Crystal claimed taht it existed, as did Satarah, and so Raphin was inclined to believe them, again being forced to push that delightful scent of heat out of his mind, making himself keep his focus, even though it was pretty overpowering, now that their were two females. Satarahs tail was wagging with excitement over the conversation, apparently joyful that she had confirmation on the pack, a feeling Raphin did not share. The thoughts of the packs did nothing but make him nervous, something in the back of his mind telling him that if he went towards the centre of the Island, where the pack territories lay, he'd have more of a chance of meeting his father. And although this was the one thing he wanted desperately, to see him suffer for what he did to Raphs mother, it also scared the hell out of him.

The femme sighed abit as she then realized that both the fae and brute were staring at her, she smiled softly trying her best not to alarm them but her mind started to race.she had encountered a wolf that had mentioned that he was a follower of Zentha but the vixen didn't really believe it, but the way things were happening now something big was going to do down. that much she knew for sure but she didn't know when or what it was or even why. All she could gather from what the wolf had told her is that Zentha is a very deadly and untrusting wolf. Crystal would stay with this group but she had to somehow convince the brute that joining a pack would be in his best interest, After all she didn't want someone that cute to be caught up in the middle of a fight that he had no need being in. She glanced over at the brute as she stepped over now standing beside the fae as she started to speak. "Satarah is right Raphin we'd be alot safer with a pack rather then us risking it out here alone, We may stick together but with wolves the likes of Kaija.. and his pack of evil wolves.. we wouldn't stand a chance"
She let out a deep sigh looking to the ground then brought her attention back to the brute as she continued. "I know your a fighter but.. it wouldn't be right for you to risk your life over two faes you hardly know". Crystal didn't need to say anything to Satarah, because she almost already knew that the femme would agree with her anyway because she had over heard the femme talking about joining a pack anyway. but this brute clearly didn't like a big pack and honestly crystal could relate to this but the way this world was right now, you just have to suck it up and do things that you wouldn't normally do to survive, Well they were already doing this already seeing how normally loners especially brutes would rather kill each other then group up. Maybe it was the fact that Raphin was the only brute in the area which gave him the feeling that he needed to protect them. but this was not the case she didn't know about the vixen that stood beside her but crystal could defend herself in a fight.
"Anyway...We should get moving i think the Exousia is our best bet.. i hear there is only a lone alphess so i'm pretty sure she'd welcome help to her pack..". And with that said the grayish fae started making her way toward the beach, once again watching her step to ensure she didn't fall into the muck again, after all it would be hard enough to clean her fur as it was. there was no need to add to the disgusting muck that already clung to her pelt, she looked back at her lil group as she lifted an eyebrow. "Are you two coming?.."

satarah was excited to finally have friends. she stepped forward to follow the fae ready to head to the beach which was south from here. a sudden want came over her. it told her to go north. she did want to abandon her group though. she looked to raphin then crystal then spoak kind of nervous and anxiously would it be ok if i meet you too there? she paused for minute think of the benefit of doing so instead of the dangers the spoke again im going to see exactly how far it is to the pack lands, and examine the terrain, and i would like to go alone so not as much atention is attracted, but ill be back as the beach by day break i believe.. little did she know what was waiting for her but decided before one or the other could disagree she would leave. so with that she bolted and said ill see you guys in the morning or around noon she would get as much info she could remember, and definately come back alive. satarah exits
occ: she is gonna go rescue some pups from skyla, and may have some injuries, but will come to the post at the beach after.

'Satarah is right Raphin we'd be alot safer with a pack rather then us risking it out here alone, We may stick together but with wolves the likes of Kaija.. and his pack of evil wolves.. we wouldn't stand a chance.'
The Brute cocked his head, listening with a slight feeling of impatience to what the femme was saying. He knew who this wolf Kaija was, and his pack of 'evil' canines, but Raph was fairly sure that alot of the things individuals saif about that Alpha, his Alphess, and his pack were very exaggerated. Their was no such thing as a 'pure' evil wolf; they just did not exist. Every being, no matter how much they think they should bow for satan, had a little bit of good in them. They just had trouble finding it. The idea of actually setting out to join one of these packs, however, was something he would never, ever contemplate, for his own decent reasons. Infact, just thinking about it seemed to make him feel physically sick inside. Never, ever, would he agree to join one.
'I know your a fighter but.. it wouldn't be right for you to risk your life over two faes you hardly know.'
Raph had to hold back his snort, making sure to keep his manners in check when in the presence of another. A fighter? Him? Really? The Brute considered himself far from a fighter, infact, getting into one of those viscious exchanges was the last thing he intended to do. He much preffered to use the beauty of words in order to get him out of a sticky situation. Yes, he felt like he needed to protect them, it was in his nature to do so, something he even himself could not help, but that had little to do with his determination regarding the packs, and Raphin found himself struggling to undertsand where she was coming from. "You can say all you like, Miss, I will never join one of those packs. It would go against everything I have been bought up to know and understand." He said to Crystal, smiling to ease the slight tension that his words held.
Crystal spoke again, announcing that they should start off on their journey towards this 'Exousia,' a pack they did not even know existed. Raphin agreed, though, just for the sake of it. One; he wanted to get away from this stinking muck below them, and two; he hoped the new action would deter Crystal from trying to pursuade him towards pack life any more. The Brute glanced to Satarah, awaiting for her answer to the opposite fae's question. The femme seemed to consider something for a minute, her midnight blue eyes unfocusing, ad then focusing again as she looked up at her two companions.
'Would it be ok if i meet you too there? I'm going to see exactly how far it is to the pack lands, and examine the terrain, and i would like to go alone so not as much atention is attracted, but i'll be back as the beach by day break i believe.. I'll see you guys in the morning or around noon .'
Quirking an eyebrow, Raphin was about to inquire as to what exactly she was aiming to achieve by doing such a quest, but didn't get the chance. The femme was off, as quick as a bullet, leaving him alone with his old acquaintance Crystal. The Brute looked at her, giving her an awkward smile, totally lost on what to say next, before motioning with his head the question; 'shall we go?'
ooc: Okays. Crystal, did you want to start the beach thread, or shall I?
