ooc, I didn't know what I should say for the title...
Oak dragged the elk to the clearing. Xylas were soft, and obnoxious most of the time, but this one had been different... She had acted like an Exousia, yet, she was a Xyla! A Xyla!!! And her eyes... She looked so intelligent and.... It was probably mating season taking hold of him. He picked a leg off of the fawn he had brought and munched. He would sleep on it....... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

The alphess slowly padded into the clearing as she shook out her pelt, still waking up from her nap. But almost instantly she could smell another scent. but this scent made her smile. For she already knew the brute that it belonged to, he was none other then her beta, she thought that she was the only member left alive after that horrible winter. She took off running toward the scent her tail swaying happily in the air. she couldn't wait to talk to her beta and see what he had been up to, but as she reached the area and he came into view, she chuckled softly and rolled her eyes. He was asleep! she couldn't believe it, then again there wasn't alot to do in the packlands lately so she couldn't really blame him.
As she walked closer the alphess froze, there was another scent on the brute.. a fae's scent.. he had been with a fae?!?.. her happiness turned into anger as she padded toward the sleeping brute. She didn't feel bad about disturbing his nap now, she needed some damn answers and she needed them right now!. She lightly kicked the brute in his side in an attempt to wake him up. "Get up now!" the alphess barked as she started to growl, she would be so angry if he actually had bred with this other fae without his alphess's permission.
she wasn't going to wait for him to take his sweet time in waking up, she shoved the brute off of his kill as she scoffed in disgust. She knew that she was new to the rank of alphess but this! this was just unacceptable!, she then sat before the brute her tail wrapped around her paws as she started to speak again. " You better get the hell up right now"

"Okay, okay I'm up... I was hunting around... somewhere and there was a fae. A Xyla member... She said her name was Frost and inquired why I was so close to her border..." He was a dead brute. Lobolita would kill him if she disagreed. Or at least throw him out...

The alphess could not believe her ears, all this work to hide her pack from the others and he almost blew it!, she sighed deeply and looked at the brute . a few moments passed before either one of them spoke but Lobolita was clearly disappointed in her beta and it showed in her eyes and her facial expression.
"I told you we have to remain hidden, that is how we survive it is how we always have and that is not going to change any time soon, you are not to go anywhere near the other packs!". the fae finally said as she stared the brute down. " do i make myself clear?"

"Yes alphess. I am sorry for defying the pack rules. I will never do so again." Oak said sincerely. Oak really wished that it wasn't mating season. It kept drawing him back but he tried his best not to give in. Forever, he would be hidden.

"good now lets go". The fae said as she turned away from him and started walking toward a perfect hunting spot, she knew that now that she had found another member of her pack that she would have to catch more food, after all she wasn't just feeding herself anymore and of course it wouldn't be long before the brute was hungry again and besides she could use a snack herself and it could be a nice chance to do alil bit of scouting as well, she now knew that the other packs were indeed had survived the winter, well atleast the Xyla had survived that was for sure and if they did then there was no doubt in the alphess's head that the skyla had as well. after all with a brute like kaija how could they not?. and she was pretty sure that the skyla's numbers would be increasing due to the mating season.
She looked back at her beta to see if he had followed her, although she shouldn't really have to check, he should of known to follow her anyway. after all she was the alphess and in these lands her word was law, even to her highest pack members no one dared go against her. she was no where as cruel as the skyla but she was still abit cruel when she wanted to be. |

Oak looked at her. "good now lets go." she said. Oak made his way over to her.
"I really hate to disobey anyone who is in a higher position. Mating season has never affected me like this before.... EVER!!! Its nerve racking! I know that this will not be forgiven quickly... I just wish to stay in this pack." He said, mellencholy

The alphess then turned and snapped at the brute, her sharp canines missing his snout by mere inches. " then you will obey my rules!" the enraged fae shouted as she stared at the brute before her, her tail was whipping around about this time as she finally let her anger take over her body, he had disobeyed her!..
he had exposed himself to a member of the xyla pack!.. there was no telling what could happen now, even now she could tell that he was still thinking about that fae. " keep this in mind.. if you mate with her.. then you better not return here and i here by forbid you from going anywhere near the borders" |

Lobolita's canines nearly caught Oaks snout. "Than you will obey my rules!" she barked"Keep this in mind... if you mate with her... then you better not return here and I hereby forbid you to go anywhere near the borders."
"I understand. And apologize. You make yourself clear, Alphess." Oak said quickly. She needed to calm down.

The alphess simply nodded as she turned and walked toward the biggest tree in the area, the tree had become a symbol for the pack, it was where the pack always met and in lobolita's mind it would always stay that way, she yawned softly as she approached the tree circling it once to find the perfect spot to lay down. she then found it and proceeded to lower herself into a laying position. her tail wrapping around her legs as she did so.
She then looked over at her brute, then she looked up at the stars, she was still clearly disappointed in him but she had said all she needed to say, she had gotten her point across that something like this would not be tolerated again, if he wanted to be with an xyla fae then she would kick him out of her pack. that was all there was to it.
