The brisk, salty air swept upon the sand as the ocean rolled in and out. Night had fallen over Kongrai, the moon being oddly bright around these parts of the mysterious island. The lunar rays glimmered in the waters. Tracks of wolves were imprinted on the sand in the pale moonlight. One set of tracks, were more fresh than the others. A lone timber wolf had arrived on High Waves beach, and like so many other of his kind that came her, he searched for guidance, for answers. He was not the type to do this. He usually bottled such emotions inside him. This time was different. The loner had encountered an old friend some time ago, but it was not a reunion he rather enjoyed. It gave him a pain the brute had never felt before-his heart ached for her. And there wasn't anything he could do about it.
He had roamed for days until he reached this beach. It is said that all your answers could be solved here, if you ask for guidance from the gods. He almost spat when he heard that roll out of a loners mouth. He didn't believe in such mythical tales then-but now? He had no where else to turn. He had gained feelings for Akila, a beautiful white wolfess. The organ within his rib cage felt as if it would soon crumble from such emotion. He needed to rid himself of this infatuation for her. Thus, bringing him here. He would ask the gods to take this from him, the pain and the heartache. The love her felt for her. He couldn't handle it no more.
He padded slowly towards the banks and perched himself onto a rock before pointed his head to the heavens, gazing into the moons luminous glow. He sighed before he spoke softly, as if he didn't want to say it aloud. "Take this accursed thing from me, if you existence is true," Flint began, his tail curling around his large paws. "I don't need the waste of emotion." He loathed having to come to this. The wolf was desperate though, and would do anything to keep his mind off her. He waited impatiently, shifting his paws around as if something would happen. But there was nothing. The ocean continued to push it's waves onto the sand, and the wind caressed the earth at the same pace. Nothing had happened.
He felt idiotic, foolish even for thinking of such a fairytale. He growled to himself before pushing his body off the rock to walk again. Then, a noise nearby caught his attention. Auds swiveled in alert to the noise, turning to face something coming his way. A low pitched rumble was emitted from his vocals, not in the mood for unwanted company.

the moonsilver fae was slowly making her way out of the moonlit land. at this point only quick movements ripped her wounds opened and she could travel with little limp. it had only been almost two days but she was healing quick. the moon was sparkling on the sea. dancing as it rose into the sky with the stars. her midnight blue orbs obsorbing her surroundings. her auds taking it every delicate sound, and her nose taking in the autumn air and the life it supports. her rose thorns did catch a voice as she move through the foliage near the beach, and his scent.
"Take this accursed thing from me, if you existence is true," "I don't need the waste of emotion."
poor guy he was love sick like half the wolves she met already. she sighed deeply wondering if she should offer him the advice he obviously came here searching for. while making her way to take a peak a twig snapped and she realize he now knew she was there. stepping in to clear view she spoke softly im sorry i was just passing by i was heading to another land. examining him she could see he was definately a strong looking young male about as old as her hopefully he wouldnt attack her. if he did though she was sure her friends were not too far they couldnt hear her. deciding against the better choice of trying to leave right away again her soft tones escaped into the atmosphere. if you want some advice take mine. she paused and decide to cut the chit chat and say what she wanted so he could ask what he needed. if its a lady.. dont push her away you dont need to rush into things but cherish and protect her and dont make her wait too long. you never know what could happen.. life is cruel and kind in different ways
in her mind she began thinking of all the awful things that could be. she was sure he would get it but she may have to explain more deeply however she was ready to do so.

The soft voice of a silver fea reached the timber wolfs ears, his posture easing up slightly as she posed no threat to him. It was against his nature to harm a female anyways. Yet, the encounter he had with this female, was different. He was quite the charmer when he would meet with females.. but he just couldn't bring himself to do it this time. Flint would usually be flirting with the femme, and yet, the thoughts of Akila rose back into his mind. The curse that burdened his heart had not been relieved by the so-called gods. That fire of compassion for her still burned within him. It was horrible. It felt as if nothing could vanquish the emotion from him, no matter what lengths he would go through.
'If you want some advice take mine.'
He quickly looked up at the wolf, amber pools locked onto her dark eyes. He desperatly needed advice.. but how did she know he needed it? It struck him odd, but he then reslised that she may have overheard him talking to the damned skies. He felt more foolish now, though he remained attentive of what advice she would give him.
'If its a lady.. dont push her away you dont need to rush into things, but cherish and protect her and dont make her wait too long. You never know what could happen.. life is cruel and kind in different ways.'
A deep sigh escaped the brutes jaws as his eyes glanced to the ground. If only things were so easy, so simple. This was the advice he did not want to hear. Of course he could go up to her and say 'Will you be mine, forever', but that was unlike him. In fact, he didn't want that. He didn't want to give such a perfect wolf such a burden. He could be monsterous, and she was so delicate. Besides, how could he tell her everything? He could not tell her his plans of overtaking the island. He could not tell her who his familiy was. He certainly couldn't be her mate. Though as much as he wanted to 'cherish and protect' her, he could not. His secrets would be the death of her. Yet, a contradiction roamed through his mind. He didn't want to simply be friends, either. So how the hell would he get out of this perdiciment?
Looking back at the nameless fea, he seemply gave a small, lop-sided smile, concealing the pain he felt deep inside. "You make it sound so easy," He replied chuckling, sitting back onto his lean haunches while curling his tail around his legs. "Name's Flint." He figured introducing himself to this femora wouldn't be much of a problem. She seemed polite, gentle even. He doubted she would start anything with him. Perhaps talking with her would take his mind off of what he was dealing with.

her midnight orbs took in his figure he was quite handsome he shouldnt have such love problems there must be something deeper holding him back. he also had confidence because he was unphased by a stranger fae being so near when he knew nothing about her. perhaps her injuries were still pungent with the smell of blood so he thought she wouldnt dare. he was right why would she when he was being so kind as of now.
"You make it sound so easy," "Name's Flint."
so this was flint the womenizer she heard so much about. she smiled softly and also sat but carefully so not to rip her wounds open. the movement stung a bit but she managed to hide the pain. a small soft chuckle escaped her ebony lips. everyone make is sound easy but even i know its not... but from what i hear about you it must be more tough.. ladies are you favorite past time.. so you must be afraid of not being yourself... she paused for a moment and look over to where the sky and sea meet. the sea was playing back everything the moons and stars did. it reminded her of a story. she softly began speaking you know she once loved before. she paused gesturing to the moon. many many years ago she could come and go from our world, and thats where she met one of us. our kind was young we had no songs, no enemies because there was only a few so we had only each other. we interested her with how close our families acted. soon she began taking form as one of us just so she could have what we had. it wasnt long before she and her immortal heart found love. she had all the power one could want and she was willing to give it all up to die when he died and be with him. the other spirits didnt like this. so they put a spell on her one night when she returned. when she neared earth the seas would rise. if she ever got to close the world would flood and kill the one she loved. so she never returned. every night she glowed bright for him and other wolves to see the would howl and sing to her. when he died wolves still sang. she sighed deeply and thought about what she would say next.
i guess im trying to say love her while you can... its tough for anyone to admit how they feel but if you wait to long it might be too late..everyone is moving closer this time of year not only because its mating season but someone threatens us all... it wasnt long before she realized he introduced himself and she hadnt. it semmed she always forgot to do this. im satarah by the way...

'Everyone make is sound easy but even I know its not... but from what i hear about you it must be more tough.. ladies are you favorite past time.. so you must be afraid of not being yourself..'
Flint was suprised that his name was so commonly known of. He knew he was a notorious flirt around the feas of Kongrai, but he had no idea that even ones he hasn't met knew him. He wasn't even sure if that was a good or bad thing. Either way, this stranger knew of his charming ways. What the silver femora said, was true. It was very frightening. He could charm a girl that he thought was simply beautiful in every way, only to completely forget about her when the next female came along. Now? He couldn't even stop thinking about one. For a complete stranger, she knew exactly what was wrong with him. Another sigh escaped him, that being his response to her. His ears perked forward as she began to speak again, this time, she began to speak of a tale she once heard.
Flint was attentive the entire time the wolfess spoke, intrigued by the story she told. Though he had hoped for a more positive ending, something that he hoped he could relate to someday, it just turned out to be a sad romantic legend. Is that what would become of him and Akila? For him to only be able to see her from afar? The brute shifted his weight, uncomfotable by such a thought. He wished it wouldn't come to that.
'I guess im trying to say love her while you can... its tough for anyone to admit how they feel but if you wait to long it might be too late..everyone is moving closer this time of year not only because its mating season but someone threatens us all..'
Flint knew exactly what she mean't about this time of year. It was mating season, and if he didn't take Akila soon, someone else would. He hated the thought of another male taking her away from him. It would be unbearable to see. What he didn't understand, was what she said at the end. Someone threatens us all..? Who? He was unsure what, or rather, whom she was speaking of. She had introduced herself as Satarah-a name of a female that he would hopefully not forget anytime soon. This was the first female he had encountered without actually flirting with her. Thinking of what she said earlier, he thought of asking what she was talking about. "Someone threatens us all-what do you mean?" She could of mean't others in general, but the timber wolf wasn't quite sure. It also could of mean't the bloodthirsty Skyla pack, or the aggresive males this season. Whatever it was, he was curious to know who.

her gentle gaze held its hold on the brute. his sigh was a sign he was listening and his orbs confirmed. she smiled softly in hopes it may help him feel better. its wasnt long before he asked
"Someone threatens us all-what do you mean?"
her smile disappeared as she looked down to her white paws. the moved about pushing sand over one the cool grains falling between her toes. her gaze return to the brutes and she said softly Zentha has returned her auds flattened slightly remember how bad just one of his followers was and what he tried to do and what he did to her. word is he is just north of here in the marsh lands, i dont know if he is hiding but my opaki said three other wolves approached him. no doubt they were his followers it wasnt till now she realize she would be passing them and if they went to leave she could run into them. she still wasnt in fighting condition so she would have to be careful.
her tones once again entered the atmosphere. one did this to me... he was a canibal and if not for the alpha of the skyla showing up to save his daughter who was suppose to be the victum i might be dead... she soon set her tones to rest. it wasnt long before her feet were collected underneath her. she looked to the direction she was heading then back at him. dont make her wait... a smile once again appeared on her features as she continued to speak protect and love her shes lucky to possess your heart. she then turned away from him and began walking away. she would stop if he still needed answers but she needed to hurry by the marsh before they did leave or wait till they did.

'Zentha has returned.'
At that moment, Flint felt as if his heart stopped beating, and time had grown to a stand still. His eyes widened slightly, her words coming to him as a complete shock. They echoed throughout his mind over and over again. He was in disbelief. No.. he can't be back. His father, after all this time, had returned? He just couldn't belive that. Zentha had left his mother and siblings years ago-he thought he was dead! Yet, this fea had said he has returned. Flint quickly turned away, his gaze avoiding contact with hers in fear of her noticing something. He couldn't think of the words to say, to make it sound so casual, as if nothing was wrong.
'Word is he is just north of here in the marsh lands, i dont know if he is hiding but my opaki said three other wolves approached him. No doubt they were his followers.'
Their were rumors, and he had not heard of them? How long were they going around-how long was he around? The timber brute attempted to shake the questioning thoughts that bubbled up ino his head. He couldn't believe all this. After the years of wondering where his dear father had been, he concluded that he had, somehow, tragically died. Yet, there were rumors that he lived.. Flint was beyond confused. Apparently, his own father was just up north, not too far from here. He could easily get there in a few hours, if he ran most of the way. The question was, would he still be there.
'One did this to me... he was a canibal and if not for the alpha of the skyla showing up to save his daughter who was suppose to be the victum i might be dead..'
He was so glued to his minds debates, that he had not noticed until now of the wounds this 'cannibal' inflicted upon her. There was no such thing as cannibalistic wolves-that was just insane. And the Skyla alpha himself, showing up to rescue their heir to the thrown? It all seemed like fantasies to him. Yet, their was proof of wounds upon her lithe frame. Wither her story was true or not, Flint was unsure. There were so many questions that needed answering! He couldn't even think of the words to say to Satarah with everything she just told him. It didn't seem to matter though, as the gentle wolfess rose to her delicate paws and said a few parting words.
'Don't make her wait.. Protect and love her, she's lucky to possess your heart.'
As mysterious as she came, she quickly padded off, vanishing into the darkness of night. He wanted to ask her so many things, but decided against it, for she was already long gone. He pushed himself up onto all fours, and looked to the moon, eyes glinting as their rays shined upon them. He couldn't help but think, was this the gods way of taking Akila off his mind..? It seemed to have worked a little, as the news of his fathers return clouded his mind. He would have to take the wise females advice later, and meet with Akila some time later. What was more unraveling, was that she spoke of her as if he was a threat to the entire island of Kongrai. He was uncertain why, but he needed to find out. He needed to talk with other loners, and ask of they too, have heard of the rumors. Countless thoughts fogged up his mind as the brute padded off the high waves beach, whispering one thing to the welcomed darkness. "Thank you.."
