The fae slowly padded out onto the beach and shook out her pelt, she sighed in relief and checked behind her to see if the brute had followed her out onto the beach, the waves crashing in the background causing mist to fly onto and around the fae. Which just caused her gray fur to sparkle in the sun light. but just then as everything was going so well, the fae let out a yelp in pain and instantly lifted her right front paw from the sand.
She refused to place any weight on that paw, as she looked down at a half buried sea urchin. it must of been washed up with the tide, Stupid!.. why wasn't she watching where she was going!.. the fae tried to pull the needle out of her paw but it only caused her more pain and caused her to yelp once more. she looked to the brute with pleading eyes, Maybe he could get it out?.. "Care to help a lady out?.."
She laid down on the sand waiting for the brute's response. though she really doubted that he would leave a fae in pain, but then again she hardly knew this male all she knew is that hes a loner and his name is Raphin. yet here they were...alone.. on the beach.. and she had been stupid enough to step on a sea urchin!..

The journey to the Beach had taken alot longer than he had expected, and Raphin found himself exhausted, and sweaty, even though it wasn't exactly what he'd call 'warm'. The Brute lagged shortly behind his companion, seeming to struggle with the constant walking alot more than she did. Whether it was because he was older, or their was some other inlying problem was unknown to him, and he tried not to think about it. Raph padded along, lost in his own musings, not paying much attention to Crystal except for which way she was walking, when he heard a startled yelp of pain from up ahead.
The Brute ran towards the femme, curious to see what was wrong, the yelp of pain startling him. 'Care to help a lady out?..' He stared at her paw for a minute, trying to work out what it was that was sticking out of her pad, before smirking, amused. She'd stepped on an Urchin. How could anybody step on an Urchin, when it was out of the water? Trying to contain the laugh that was bursting to come out, he lowedered his nose to the spine, moving around it for a second to get a good angle, and then said, "This is going to hurt, Miss." Without waiting for a response, he gripped it with his teeth carefully, and then pulled as hard as he could on the offending object.
Raph winced as the thing came out of her paw, feeling the pain she must have felt in the back of his mind. He dropped the spine, burying it over with his own paw so that it could do no more harm. "You'll want to wash that in the Sea now, to stop any infection." The male said, with a smile to his wounded friend. The journey would be a long one, and this would make it even slower.

the femme yelped softly but smiled at the brute as she then nodded and looked toward the ocean. she already knew that it was going to sting like mad. she slowly made her way over to the surf as she cringed the salt water hitting her wound, she shook her head trying to hide the pain as she bit her bottom lip. she looked down at the blood in the water and sighed abit. how could she ever be a great warrior if she couldn't even spot a damn sea urchin!.
She looked back over at the brute, a fake smile on her maw as she began to speak. "Thank you..". the fae then slowly hobbled over and rubbed against him as she then stepped back and sat down. " we should rest here for now.. i'm in no shape to continue the trip, at least for alil while that is.". the fae looked away then back at the brute, she had noticed that he was struggling and she just loved to mess with him. "you look like your about to faint, whats the matter? can't keep pace with a girl?". she playfully winked at him to let him know that it was all in good fun, that she had no in-tension of really insulting or mocking him.
The fae then laid down and looked up at him, soft smile on her maw. She couldn't help but wonder why he didn't want to be in a pack, She yawned softly before looking down then back at the brute. she started to speak again, "Raphin.. Why don't you want to be in a pack?.. not that there is anything wrong with being a loner, but out of the three of us.. you seem to be the only one against the pack idea..". she laid her head down but her auds remained alert listening for any response from the brute.

Raph felt her pain as though it was his own, and thanked the stars he had never trodden on one of these Urchins. Crystals paw looked sore and swollen, and the fae winced as she bathed it in the salty sea, turning the waters surfice crimson as she did so. It worried Raphin that the wound would bleed so much, one; because bleeding pads meant scabs, which would reopen everytime the femme walked on it, and two; the scent would attract unwanted attention. The Brute held some knowledge about these creatures, his mother would educate him on all animals of Kongrai, guiding him to show respect, and so he knew that the Urchins with long, sharp spines, such as the one Crystal had just trodden on, did inject a venom when they cause an injury. The effect of this venom varied, depending on the age, and type of Urchin she had stepped on, and at worse would cause her alot of pain once it had set in. It would not kill her, though, so Raph decided not to mention it; in order not to worry her. He'd just keep a watchful eye on her, and help her in any way he could with is limited knowledge over medicine, if the issue arose.
'Thank you.. we should rest here for now.. i'm in no shape to continue the trip, at least for alil while that is.'
"Of course, although we may want to move away from the shoreline." The dark furred Brute responded, smiling back. She would definitely need to rest, or atleast stay off of that paw for a while. Continuing their journey definitely wasn't going to happen, not now anyway. Besides, they had to wait for Satarah to come back, so they really had no excuse to move. To carry on walking would be slow, painful for the femme, and put Crystal in alot of danger, whether he was around or not. Something Raph did not want to see happen.
'You look like your about to faint, whats the matter? can't keep pace with a girl?'
Raphin snorted as she winked at him, glad to see her sence of humour was still how he remembered. A grin plastered itself upon his maw, and the Brute relaxed completely, tail wagging; a show of just how content he was feeling. "You wish, I was merely giving you the head start on our journey." He said with a sly grin; as if the whole thing was a race, responding playfully to her teasing. Crystal lay down on the sand, and Raph plodded himself down, still half sat up to keep a good eye on their surroundings, incase some unwanted visitors made an appearace.
'Raphin.. Why don't you want to be in a pack?.. not that there is anything wrong with being a loner, but out of the three of us.. you seem to be the only one against the pack idea..'
All of the humour left his body at her question, and his eyes immediately glazed over, as if he was trying to shield her from any insight into his mind. This was not something that he usually spoke about, and was completely out of his comfort zone. The Brute sat deathly still, not moving, not talking, just thinking. Millions of thoughts were rushing through his mind, thoughts he definitely did not want there. "Its something i'd rather not talk about right now, if thats Ok?" He said apologetically, before a quick, tactical change of subject, "Now, can i take another look at your paw?"

"Of course, although we may want to move away from the shoreline."
the fae just looked at him, a soft smile on her maw as she laughed softly, then suddenly stopped and looked down to the sand, she was clearly disappointed in herself she was suppose to be a great tracker. yet she allowed herself to get injured by a damn urchin!. she looked back at the brute the smile on her maw grew into a sly grin. "Atleast he is caring.." she thought to herself before looking back down at the sand.
"You wish, I was merely giving you the head start on our journey."
This made the femme burst out laughing, he really thought that he could beat her in a race?, in his dreams maybe but in the 'real' world she would beat him in a heart beat, but she didn't want to harm his pride to much by teasing him about it so she would just allow him to have this victory. but only this once, "Okay okay what ever you say killer". she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Its something i'd rather not talk about right now, if thats Ok?"
"oh...im sorry..". the femme's facial expression instantly changed, as she sighed abit before looking back up at the brute. listening to him speak once more. "Now, can i take another look at your paw?". this caught her off-guard but before she could think of a good response her mind seemingly took control of her mouth, as she spoke again. "uh...sure..". the fae then looked away and toward the ocean but for some reason she couldn't stop thinking about the brute in front of her, eh maybe it was just that it was mating season.. that had to be it!, Crystal was a lone wolf with no plans of having pups anytime soon, but this brute..something about him.. was starting to make her wonder..

Night quickly began to draw in over the chilled beach, the sun being replaced with the large, bright moon as it made its way slowly into the darkening sky. A cool breeze floated through the area, bringing a shivery ruffle to Raphins exposed paws as he sat with his new companion. The male watched Crystal, only too aware of the urges that kept attempting to make an appearance, no matter how hard he tried to lock them away. She was a beautiful creature; the sort who could really turn his life to misery if she put her mind to it, the Brute couldn't deny that. Saying that, however, it wasn't really possible to get an 'ugly' wolf, was it? All beings were beautiful in their own ways.
'Okay okay what ever you say killer.'
The young femme stuck out her tongue, and Raph quirked an eyebrow, amused at her antics. He smirked, tail thudding against the sand playfully. "You don't believe me?" He laughed, "I would prove it, but of course, that would not be at all fair, what with your paw being in such a state. You'll see eventually though." The male winked, casually intrigued over whether she would rise to his playful, almost flirtatious teasing. He liked watching her laugh, made him feel at ease, reminded him of the pleasant old days, when he had not wandered the world alone, in fear of every corner he turned. Yes, the wolf would definitely enjoy travelling with a group, even if it was only for a small amount of time.
'oh...im sorry, uh...sure..'
Raphin shook his head and smiled, to show that it was nothing to apologize about, and if anything, it was his fault. He was the one who was insecure about his past, he was the one who was too afraid to move on with his life, he was the one who found he couldn't bring himself to trust others. It was his fault, not hers. If anything; he was the one who should be apologising. Raph gently nudged her paw with his nose, investigating over whether their was any bruising, how swollen it looked' that sort of thing.

she yelped softly as he touched her paw again, she glared at him softly. as she slowly limped away from the shore, laying down on a nearby mound of sand, she looked back over at him and winked playfully again then glanced up to the sky, " you know.. joining a pack.. isn't exactly my favorite idea either, i have plenty of bad memories but.. if they will keep us safe.. then we have no choice..".she then looked back toward the sand and sighed deeply, her tail was now completely limp behind her.
"oh..i shouldn't be talking about bad times, after all if it hadn't happened then we wouldn't of met", the fae smiled softly as she glanced over at the brute, a charming look in her eye. but it was unsure if she was actually getting feelings for this brute or if it was just the mating season, her tail slowly started to sway again spreading her scent around again. she then laid her head down awaiting for him to join her

'You know.. joining a pack.. isn't exactly my favorite idea either, i have plenty of bad memories but.. if they will keep us safe.. then we have no choice..'
Raphin exhaled softly, confused as to how the conversation always seemed to be turning in odd directions. Was she really going to keep trying to pursuade him over the whole 'pack' deal? The Brute frowned, and shook his head to show just how uninterested he was over joining one the the large families. "We always have choices, Crystal. the majority just choose not to see them. You really can say what you like, miss, but nothing will convince me into joining a pack. They are selfish creatures, no better than the humans in my opinion." He left it at that, refusing to give any more explanation other than an apologetic wince for his sudden rudeness. Immediately Raphin tried to talk himself out of sounding pompous, not wanting to get himself stuck in the bad books of his new found friend. "I'm sorry, i was completely out of order then. Forgive my rudeness." His mother would've been ashamed of him.
'oh..i shouldn't be talking about bad times, after all if it hadn't happened then we wouldn't of met.'
Raph was unsure what these 'bad times' she described were, but decided against asking. Besides, he had refused to explain to her, so why should she explain to him? He followed her up the beach, trying to avoid breathing in her lovely scent; almost as though it was somse sort of poisonous gas, and then sitting down next to her. "Im glad we met though, its nice to finally have someone to talk to again." He smiled happily, "Where do you think Satarah has gotten to?"
Notes: Rubbish post, sorry 'bout that.

They are selfish creatures, no better than the humans in my opinion .. I'm sorry, i was completely out of order then. Forgive my rudeness.",
Despite his request for forgiveness the fae scoffed softly and looked away before mumbling. "I was in a pack.. not everyone is selfish..". it was clear that his words had hurt her feelings, she curled up wrapping her tail around her paws as she then laid her head down ontop of her tail. about this time a tear made its way though her soft fur and fell to the sand below. besides sniffling the femme remained silent not even looking at the brute. how could he think such things!, okay maybe he had a rough life but that gives him no right to instantly judge others!. things are always changing and besides she personally had met the alphess for the Exousia pack. in fact she had risked her own life to save crystal's life. and to her no selfish wolf would of done that and the alphess didn't even want anything in return!, she didn't even request that crystal joined her pack. no.. she just vanished one night as soon as crystal was healthy again.
"Im glad we met though, its nice to finally have someone to talk to again .. Where do you think Satarah has gotten to?"
This kind of made the femme smile as she looked over at the brute, giving him a soft lick on the cheek before she laid her head back down on her tail, as she stared at the sand ahead of her. "Satarah is a full grown fae raphin, she can handle herself .. but its sweet that you care". she looked at him once before as she spoke again. "oh.. and i know this is your least favorite subject, but.. i have actually.. met the Exousia alphess.. she saved my life..during the winter.. and last time i checked" she looked away from the brute. "shes not selfish..and most of her pack has died.. she really could use a brute like you around to help out. and there is no way i'm letting you go so i'll be there as well.. i don't know about satarah though"

'I was in a pack.. not everyone is selfish..'
Waves crashed noisely in the background as Raphin winced. Had he upset her? Gah, that was the last thing he had intended to do! She just didn't seem to understand the fact that he was never going to join one of the packs. The closer he was to the middle of the Island, the more wolves he would encounter, and the more wolves he encountered, the more chance he would have of meeting his father. And with the state of mind he was in right now, whether that was due to mating season, or some other thing, he did not know, he just really didn't think coming across his father would be a good idea. Heck, with some of the things running through his mind, he'd likely rip him apart. Something that was definitely not in his nature. Raphin sighed apologetically, wincing slightly. 'I seem to have offended you. My apologies.'
'Satarah is a full grown fae raphin, she can handle herself .. but its sweet that you care.. oh.. and i know this is your least favorite subject, but.. i have actually.. met the Exousia alphess.. she saved my life..during the winter.. and last time i checked, shes not selfish..and most of her pack has died.. she really could use a brute like you around to help out. and there is no way i'm letting you go so i'll be there as well.. i don't know about satarah though.'
Raphins tail wagged like that of a dog when she licked his cheek, but the mention of the Exousia pack again bought his mood back down to a mellow level of sulkiness. 'Are we really going to continue having this argument? I don't want to join this Exousia. I don't want anything to do with these packs. I'll accompany you there, but that is all. Lets not part on bad terms.' He told her, keeping his voice polite, even though inside he was getting irritated. He didn't even want to go near the packs right now, but for some stupid reason, he was determined to make sure this femme got there safely. Man, he hated this time of year.

[glow=white,2,300] ~*Satarah*~ [/glow] a sigh of relief came to the silver fae as her pads touched the days warmed sand. they sky was still dark but was lighting up with a blue hue, much like her orbs. the moon danced on the ocean as it calmly made its view to the world and seemingly made its decent into the sea. the star flickered so far and distant like her mind at this time. she seen them now. the skyla didnt seem that bad. she was now debating on waiting to join a pack atleast until winter. the whole journey back her mind was wandering. pehaps she was delusional from blood loss, no it was just easier not focusing on the pain. that demon really did a number on her. she had two bad wounds from her fight. both were rips one into her left shoulder and the other just above her right going onto her back. she was also cover in blood mostly from herself but also from the demon.
she continued to hobble along she didnt want to get to close to her friends without washing herself first, but the thought of the stinging salty ocean water didnt seem too pleasant. it had to be done though to avoid infection. there scents were strong in the air. they were close. makiong her way sorely so the small waves smoothing the sand she let her front pads feel the water for a minute before she actually went in. it was quite brisk this evening. satarah slowly hobble into about a foot and half of water allowing her injured side the crash of the waves.
the pain was unbearible, and she whined quietly to herself. in between each wave she could see a cloud of crimson liquid swirl about. looking ahead she saw a decent sized rock peaking out of the water so she made her way over to it. she did this though not to sheild herself from the waves but so she could rub herself against it. she began scrapping her wounds and fur to clean them better. more of her blood spilled into the sea. it would be gone by morning.
content with her cleanliness, and the fact the stinging stopped she made her way out hobbling on three legs as she held her bad one up. she couldnt shake herself dry because of the pain she was still in, and she didnt want to irritate the open wounds more. she was dripping wet in the chilly autumn, but didnt go to them yet. she didnt want to risk waking them if they were asleep. so she moved up behind some sand duns and laid between two of them. she laid there awake struggling to get comfortable.
once she did get comfortable she decided she was just going to stay away. she didnt know if that brute would show but she didnt want her friends to get hurt for what she did. she would die first so she stood again and hobbled up the tallest dun and sat keeping watch.

the fae opened her eyes as she was just in time to watch the fae hobble up the dune, she slowly got up trying not to wake the brute as she carefully made her way to the dune as a small smile formed on her maw, " You know you really shouldn't be such a stranger" crystal said as she slowly sat down beside her new found friend, but she kept looking over at the brute then back to the sky as she continued to small softly. she then licked the fae's cheek and spoke once more. "Welcome back though and see your pretty banged up, you alright?"she looked over her wounds and chuckled softly before giving her a reassuring nudge.
"Come to bed" she said softly as she then rose back to her three good pads and slowly and painfully made her way back down the dune, part of her was still hoping that the brute was still asleep as she looked up to the sky she then laid back down next to the male, gently cuddling up to him to keep warm during the night, she then looked up at the fae that was on the dune still. " Come on.. he has another side and hes really comfy.. besides we have to head out in the morning."with that said the famora slowly lowered her head to rest upon raphin's fore-paw and closed her eyes once more.

her black tipped rose buds rose to the sound of another. it was crystal. the sound of her tones entered the atmosphere
" You know you really shouldn't be such a stranger" satarah felt a smile appear on her maw the thought of her being a stranger seemed strange with her actions earlier this evening. if crystal knew why she was injured and the happenings maybe she would see why satarah was acting in such a manner. the marble fae spoke again
Welcome back though and see your pretty banged up, you alright?"
satarah smiled once again reassuringly and spoke softly yeah... i got a little to nosey she tried to make a joke out of her injuries but it seemed to make them hurt alittle more. she winced a bit as she tried to laugh at her self but also rose to her three good legs and made a comment aww we match once she reached the brute and where crystal laid satarah went to lay next to him glancing around once more before trying to get some sleep. little did she know it but her injuries would look a lot worse in the morning. the cover of night hid the intensity. she just hope raph wouldnt get angry or something.

Raphin looked up along with Crystal, watching in alarm as the bloodied up femme the pair knew as Satarh limped towards them, feeling slightly confused when she sat down a little way from themselves, asthough not wanting to come any closer. Crystal didn't hesitate to wander over, speaking both loudly and curiously. The male followed, a little more cautiously, noting just how beat up she looked. He gazed around, squinting into the far horizon to see if he could spot any other individuals here, but as far as he could tell, they were the only ones.
' You know you really shouldn't be such a stranger. Welcome back though and see your pretty banged up, you alright?'
the Brute had also noticed just how badly injured she was, and wanted desperately to inquire whether she was alright, and what on earth had happened. The dark night hid alot of the evidence, but already he could tell that her usually white fur had been ruined by blood, her shoulder looked pretty torn up, and her leg looked painful. Crystal asked whether the femme was Ok, and Raph listened intently, just as intrigued to know the answer as his other companion was. The male settled down on the sand, lying his head on his paws and watching both of his friends calmly.
'yeah... i got a little to nosey.'
Raph raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her small explanation. He wanted to know more, to understand what had happened, his curosity far too large for his own good. The male did not get a chance to ask, however, because Crystal spoke again, settling by his side, and the inviting Satarah to do exactly the same, which she did. Raphin shifted for a few seconds, uncertain with this new contact, before settling down again, finding some comfort in having these femmes so close.

~*Satarah*~
as the night went on the silver fae struggled to sleep peacefully. she didnt toss and turn just the sounds of night alerted her every minute it seemed. she didnt know if the brute who did this was the type to stalk his prey nore if he had others to help him. so she was scared not for herself but her unknowing friends.
the waves continued to whisper a short distance away as the sun slowly crept out of the sea. colors of blue pink lavender and orange painted the sky and slowly fadded into a heavenly sky blue with gold touched clouds. this was when satarah was alerted to a small grunting sound not far from them.
could this be the injured brute making his way painfully to finish the job. too on edge to pass by her curiousity she rose to her feet and limped her way around the sand dune to where the sound was coming from. at first glance everything was still for a moment. she could see a small shrub sticking out of the sand part way, and some grains of sand spinning in a small breeze. just ass she was about to go wash herself before her friends awoke she saw the shrub move. then it occured to her this moving shrub was what made the grunting sound, and it wasnt a shrub. she went to get a little closer. suddenly the shrub lept backwards. whoa! it had spikes it almost got her but she tripped over herself trying to get away.
what the heck is this? she thought to herself. as she regained her footing and backed up she heard something what the heck am i? deary just look at you i think the question is what happened and why are you bugging a porcupine in that condition she was shocked she stepped back rather quickly and winced in pain did you just talk to me? she said softly. you could hear the porcupine's grunting chuckle no i can read your mind and you can read mine. we can only hear each other. there is also no need to speak out loud satarah tilted her tiara to the side still a little shocked do all porcupines do this? the humble quilled creature replied there are others with other wolves but not all are porcupines we are just opaki. us opaki are guardians and i am yours. satarah just stared and took it in.

crystal slowly picked her head up, glancing over to see Satarah with a strange looking creature but she was to tired to really convince herself to get up and go see what was going on, the waves kept crashing against the shore, this sound made the already tired famora yawn softly and close her eyes before laying her head back down, but with her eyes closed she had no idea where anything was and her head came to rest gently on top of one of raphin's front paws, as her body gently cuddled up to his but her mind continued to race wondering about the strange creature she had seen her new found friend with but in any matter she would question her in the morning.
but it wasn't long before she started to whimper and struggle in her dreaming, it was clear to everyone around her that the fae was having a nightmare but for some reason she did not wake up no matter how much she whimpered or struggled in the real world, it was almost as if she were being attacked in her dreams, if this were true then her friends would be powerless to do anything but just wake her up and comfort her

It seemed Raphin was not the only wolf who found themselves with trouble sleeping. For what felt like hours, the male lay awake, not being able to close his eyes without seeing those dreadful pictures that seemed to enjoy playing themselves over and over again in his mind, with both femmes curled up at his sides. He couldn't tell if they were asleep or not, but didn't want to move, not even in the slightest notion, in fearof disturbing them. The Brute simply rested his head between his paws, eyes wide open, waiting for the sun to make its appearance again.
After a while, Raphin found himself waking up, being startled by movement not too far away. It seemed he had indeed managed to fall into unconsciousness, but was now fully on alert again. He lifted his head into the air quickly, squinting into the darkness to see what was going on. Satarah was gone. For a second, Raph panicked, thinking she may have gotten herself in trouble again, but as he sat quietly, listening intently to anything he could hear, it became fairly clear that she was merely talking to someone, or something. This didn't concern the Brute too much, as he was far to tired to overthink things as he usually did, and so he lowered his head back onto his paws again, content with just lying their dozily.
Or atleast he tried. Raph attempted to rest his head on his paws, only to find that something was blocking the motion! Crystal had shifted in her sleep, her head now lying against his paws! At first, the uncertain male felt slightly awkward with this situation, but he soon got used to it, noting how much she whimpered in her dreams, and so settled his head next to hers, keeping one ear open and awake, incase Satarah let out any alarming noises.

satarah's ear twitchd in the direction of her sleeping friends. she must of woken them only momentarily. she eventually shook her head in disbelief and hobbled towards the water. she didnt want anything too noticeble. sorry porcupine i think i lost too much blood and im just hearing stuff in my head. the porcupine grunted feeling a little disrespected and said im real alright. your too sane to hear things... but then i again you havent really slept either.... deary satarah continued to walk away not sure of what to think and was startled a bit when out of the corner of her eye she saw the prickly creature following her. hey no no.... she said out loud. then continued mentally not wanting to wake her friend and also remembering what the porcupine said why are you following me? the porcupine let out another grunting laugh and said im your gardian im suppose to make sure your ok. satarah paused and looked around then though well im fine go about your business as you would normally, and i guess ill just... um let you know if i need you... or something satarah then went about grooming herself then laid out in the rising sun basking, waiting for her friends to awaken so she could tell them about her journey, and thoughts. mean while the porcupine actually agreed with satarah and waddled off[/center][/sup][/color]

the fae could feel the warmth of the sun light on her pelt, this almost instantly opened her eyes and caused her to yawn softly, she then looked down at the brute who was still peacefully sleeping beside her but then she noticed that satarah still hadn't come back to bed, she then looked over and spotted the white fae by the shore line and smiled softly, as she slowly got up trying not to wake up Raphin, he seemed like he needed some more sleep anyway, she slowly padded toward satarah.
As she reached her friend, she slowly lowered her frame down toward the ground as she sat beside her and smiled softly, "So what happened to you?" crystal said as she slowly looked down at her own wounded paw, gently licking at her sore pad before returning her attention back to her friend, and awaited her response all the while listening to the waves crash along the shore, she envyed the ocean because it seemingly had no fears, no master, no reason, it was completely free.
But just then the fae's ears perked up as she was alerted to a faint sound toward the west, it was coming from the land they were traveling to but this could be trouble.. it could be a follower from zentha, heck.. for all they knew the pack they were seeking shelter from could be in league with zentha!. either way someone was coming and they were coming fast and directly at them, the fae slowly picked herself up and turned to face the on-coming wolf, her lips pulling back into a snarl as she prepared to face their would-be foe.

satarah watched as crystal came over. she wasnt sure if raphin was awake but she decided to share what happened but loud enough for him to hear if he were sightly awake. well i was in the outlands, and i came across a smell... it was wolves but only pups... i thought about just ignoring it but i just wanted to take a peak.. she pauses for a minute then continued the only reason i wanted to take a peak was because i haven't seen pups since i was a pup and the first fae i met, her scent was also mixed with the pups which meant they were skyla. when i came acrossed them, a rogue male was stalking them, and he was going to eat them. the young male of the two ran and managed to find there pack, and i jumped in and stopped the demon from killing her. when cinder the fae i already met showed up he seemed unphased, but when kaija the alpha came the demon ran for his life...
she glanced down at the faes paw and said what happened there? she began thinking she shouldnt of come back just yet if that brute decided to follow, crystal wasnt in top fighting condition, like herself. this would put raphin, and her in extreme danger.
satarah's auds also rose to the sound in the distance. she watched as crystal became uneasy and went to her feet immediately getting defensive. satarah also pulled her aching bones together and came to her feet her fur rustled up and she stared in dead silence towards the west waiting for a breakage in the foliage.

Suko trudged through the brush, berating herself for going into skyla territory. That was a stupid move especially since she had been alone with no backup. Even if her only backup choices was one warrior. She sighed, so far her life as an alpha was failing. so far only one of the wolves she approached agreed to join her and another one had almost turned into a fight. At least that was a lesson well learned. From now on she was only going to recruit in the unclaimed lands. She was heading for the beach to hopefully get some insight on how to get more members by watching the waves as it helped her think. As she neared the edge of the brush, she stopped, ears forward. Voices. Two at least. Suko scented the wind, three. One brute and two fae's... and blood. This alarmed Suko. Blood meant a fight is happening or has happened. She listened closer, there was a lack of snarling and the voices sounded relaxed. After then. The voices stopped and she could tell they where aware of her presence. Right now, showing herself was a good idea as not to alarm the trio into a defense attack.
Suko stepped out of the brush line facing the two Fae's. She could see the brute lying down a little ways away but couldn't tell if he was awake. She focused her attention on the Fae's. One was a silver and the other grey, thought she couldn't see what shades as it was still too dark. "I smelled blood and came to see if you needed help.' Suko stated calmly, "It seems you don't but do you mind if i stay, I'm a bit lonely and would like some company." it was a half truth. She was lonely but was also debating if these where loners or pack wolves out for a stroll.

The Exousia alphess strolled along the beach closest to her territory, admiring the sun set in the distance but just as she had found peace, it was broken just as quickly it was very faint but she could hear growling and another wolf speaking.. by judging from the voice it had to be a fae, no brute ever sounded that sweet and innocent not one she had ever met anyway, the somewhat young alphess decided to check it out anyway as she started running toward the direction in question, she didn't know what to expect but she was naturally curious, a trait that could usually get a wolf killed but due to her territory being so private and distanced from the other packs, Lobolita had never faced this problem before.
As she closed in on the scene she stopped just out of sight, but she was able to see everything that was going on, it seemed like three fae's were having a stand off two on the right one to the left, and there was a brute laying not to far behind the two fae's on the right, perhaps he was their protector?.. either way the way that the fae on the left held herself showed her enough, it was so clear that she had to be an alphess or atleast a high rank, so had she stumbled onto a pack meeting?.. No.. something told her that the three barely knew each other and the two faes on the right clearly did not like the other fae, but really shocked lobolita was the brute was doing nothing about this, "What? does he think this is some kind of sick game?!",she thought to herself before shaking her head, no.. he had to be asleep or something..
That left the normally cautious fae to break this up before it could turn into a blood bath, she would sigh before padding out knowing that most likely her presence would only cause the defensive faes to either lash out in defense or retreat to the brute, but as she grew closer she recognized one of the faes, it was crystal.. she had had a run with this famora before and knew she usually could be pretty hot-headed but decided to speak up anyway hoping to defuse the situation before it got any worse, "Crystal relax you know that violence is not the answer"

With his eyes half open, Raph listened to Satarahs intriguing story. He didn't recognise any of the names she spoke of, but could gather from what she was saying that the majority of the wolves who were involved belonged to a pack of some sort, although which one it was was beyond the male. He was tired though, so incredibly tired, and no matter how much he fought, no matter how much he wanted to listen to what the two femmes were saying, Raphin could feel himself drifting back off to sleep.
* * *
When the Brute awoke again, the presence in the air was completely different. Their was a sence of, what, tensness, and fear. As though something had happened. Thought of what Starah had said before he had fallen asleep lingered in his mind, and Raphin wondered with fear whether the wolf eating canine had made an appearance. Immedietly, the male rose his head, staring in the direction of where his two friends had both been. Thankfully, they were both still there, and didn't look as though they'd been hurt. They weren't alone though. As Raphin stumbled grottily onto all four paws, he spotted another two femmes, making the scent of heat in the breeze practically [/i]overwhelming[/i]. For a few seconds, his mind fogged over, and the only thing playing on his mind, was the idea that this was his lucky day. Shaking the thought away in shame, he studied the two newbies from a distance, noting the way they held themselves in contrast to the way Satarah and Crystal stood. It was as though they were subconsciously asserting their high ranks, even if they did not know they were doing it. That was when it dawned on him, by their stance, and their scent, that these were pack wolves. Alarm shot through his mind, and so the male padded towards the small gathering grumpily, not at all liking th fact that he would now have to involve himself with these packs. The closer he got, however, the more he became certain that the two nameless wolves did not belong to the same pack. They both stood as though they were an alpha, with their tails high and legs stiff, and their scents were far too different. They probably were alphas, although neither wolf looked as though they were intending to cause a threat. Either way, Raphin padded heavily towards them, aware that he would not enjoy what was sure to be coming. ooc: Again, sorry for the long wait D:[/size][/blockquote]

the marbled fae seemed to smirk as she could hear and see the brute join them out of the corner of her eye, this ensured that if there was a fight that her lil group would most likely win now even if satarah was injured they had something the other two did not, they had an actually male with them and everyone knows that in a fight nine times out of ten the male will over-power or kill a female any day, just the knowledge that he was on their side made the already bold fae even bolder then normal, she looked at the first fae then at the Exousia alphess, she was famliar with the alphess but not with the new fae, this could of meant trouble but just then the fae spoke which put any threat of a fight to rest.
"I smelled blood and came to see if you needed help ... It seems you don't but do you mind if i stay, I'm a bit lonely and would like some company."
"Fine you can stay, but" Crystal stopped mid-sentence and glanced back at raphin before looking back at the fae then at lobolita. "We're not interested in joining any pack" she stated but not even an hour ago she had been trying to convince the brute to join up with the Exousia and now she was against the idea?..this was indeed strange but she hoped that her new found friends would just ignore that fact, after all if joining a pack would make raphin feel uncomfortable then there would be no point in doing so, she wanted her little group to agree on it before joining any pack. and so far raphin was doing a damn good job at being stubborn about that idea.
"Oh..and.." crystal fully turned his attention to the alphess of exousia pack and snorted before continuing."Right now.. we're not in your territory so your 'power' is exactly what we say it is!"after saying all she felt like she needed to she turned to walk past satarah and raphin and head toward where they were laying down before but just then a grin formed onto her maw, "oh and if you think you can convince us to..then the joke is on you" she said loud enough for everyone to hear, as she laid back down in her spot waiting for her group to join her.

[glow=white,2,300]~*Satarah*~[/glow] every rose has its thorns
Satarah watch as the first and second fae came forth. satarah wondered if they were pack wolves, and if they were part of the same pack. after there scents circulated in the air for awhile it was apparent they were pack wolves but of different packs. this was told by the different scents of earth on there pelts.
the first fae who arrived stated she was conserned because of the smell of blood and that she was lonely and wished to stay. the second one seemed to know crystal. before satarah could get a word out it seemed crystal said what she felt needed to be. it surprised satarah when she stated they were not searching for a pack. her expression remained blanked and consintrated however. she understood why they would not choose a pack yet. raphin wasn't exactly on terms with it, and satarah wasnt quite feeling it anymore because she was still unsure of what she wanted.
it wasnt long before her porcupine guardian popped out nearby and came to her side. still unsure about the guardian think or if she was imagining it because of blood loss she decided to go along with it for now. it could be fun. so do you know who they are? she thought to Rose the spined creature at her feet. her eyes still focus on the two as before. the one who arrived first is the Alphess of the Liazo, Suko. And the other is the Alphess of the Exousia, Lobolita satarahs mind was silent. another thought went to rose though what are there pack numbers? rose answered not nearly as high as the Skyla or Xyla satarah began thinking. these two definately need more members but she couldnt join both and was unsure where she wanted to be. there was a part of her that just wanted to stay a loner now because she could mingle with any pack or anyone, but if she joined a pack it would limit her to one crowd other then her pack, and that would be other potential pack members.
her gaze turned softer as crystal walked away and she gave a soft smile to the two. then greeted them welcome mistresses of Liazo, and Exousia she stayed where she was not wanting to show how weak she really was. slowly she lowered her frame to the ground to continue to soak up what she could of the sun.
the porcupine was near her but not quite next to her on account she was still unsure about the wolfess she must guide, but so far she was liking her. the thorns that covered her body were puffed out just because she was surrounded by five predators and she didnt know if she could depend on satarah just yet to protect her, especially with her injuries.
satarah looked up as raphin and chuckled softly and said this must be tough for you, all these pretty ladies surrounding you at the beach none the least. she could tell he just awoken. she was please he finally got some good sleep. perhaps the company crystal and her brought helped scare the bad dreams away. it certainly helped her. her tail slid back and forth upon the sand casting some grains into the air. they sparkled as they twirled. her midnight orbs returned to the mistresses infront of her and she asked softly. so you both came all this way alone? with all the rogues this time of year?
