...The Way This Place Is, Take Yourself To Higher Places!" [/i] The canine lied beside the tide, as it washed up and down onto the land, splashing her paws. The sun's golden glow disappeared into the distance, bringing the heat to a halt and the scorching torture down. When one was to observe this fae, her expression was a mystery. The setting sun made her sleepy, but she had yet to fall asleep quite yet. As far as her personality went, Ladonna was considered sad and lonely. The nights brought cold and fearful nights, without someone there to comfort her she would feel abandoned. When the sunless hours went by, she would have to face hunger and heat.
Within an hour this she-wolf would fall asleep, forced to capture the cold of the night and stared at by the stars as she shivered until morn. The question in the reader's mind: "Why is she here on this beach if she hates it so bad?" To answer that, Ladonna's only friend had been here and the devastation of having no one lingered. The beach was the only friendly living environment for the young wolf, and the presence of her friend was fooling Ladonna. The fae wanted to live threw the summer, but she wanted no longer to be lonely. Her own sanity was in question; she herself had to wake herself up every now and then. It was getting late, and Eipha felt as though she was dangling on the edge of her sanity. Well, the sanity she had left. Which to be honest, wasn't all that much. But the Badger. That god damned Badger! Yes, Eipha was aware that she quite possibly owed her life to the young creature. If she had not been there, then who knew what that evil Skyla fae would have done to her? The encounter had left her fragile, nervous and untrusting. Infact, pretty much any living creature she came upon that was bigger than herself now caused her fear. Heck, she was even having nightmares. About dark, evil wolves with red eyes, chasing after her, and that nasty little dog thing she had with her. The look in her glowing auds as she made for her throut. Eipha would often wake up, near screaming. And this had never happened before now. The white femme had never endured night horrors. That had been why she'd allowed the young Badger to accompany her, as she had insisted. More for the comfort of having somebody around, especially as she felt she may faint any second. But now? Things had changed. The Badger had started saying things. Things that scared Eipha.
"Would you please just go away. Leave me be. Your talking nonescence, and i dont want to listen any more." The famora begged, for what seemed to her the tenth time today, walking in zigzags across the beach to try and get away from the Badger. She'd, thankfully, managed to put some distance between them. 'You don't need to say your words outloud, Eipha. I can hear everything you think, just as i hear everything you say. I know everything that happened in your past, and will be here to witness what happens in your future. Deal with it.' Came that same, tired voice in her mind, the same one the Badger, Delphi, she'd said her name was, had used so many times today. As if she was getting bored with Eiphas constant denial. "Look, i'm grateful for what you did, in the whole situation with Senna,' the very name seemed to strike fear deep into her mind, "but thats all. Their is no such thing as a 'Guardian', please just leave me alone." Delphi stopped walking, huffing slightly in annoyance. 'Fine, but don't forgot, no matter how far away you are, i will be able to hear you. And i will come if you need me.' The Badger said with pride, watching in irritation as her wolf padded down the beach, her leg still causing her to limp badly. "Your crazy."
Eipha limped across the beach, thankfull that the crazy badger had let her be, but suddenly all to aware of how dark it was. The loneliness and fear immedietly kicked in, but she pulled a brave face, ignoring the tight pain from her body, still trying to repair itself from the fight, mauling from the Skyla alphess, as she walked. If she was to continue to survive like this, then their was no doubt she was going to, eventually, try and join one of the packs. Being a loner was dangerous, and in her mangled condition, luck was definitely not on her side. Her time was ticking, quickly.
Slightly further on down the beach, Eipha stopped in horror as she smelt the one thing she did not want to smell. Their was another wolf in her presence. The faes heart pace picked up dramatically, and she scanned the area nervously, desperately trying to keep a hold of herself, to not allow the panick to send her fleeing. It was definite. The ordeal with Senna had left her weak, and broken. Their was no longer much hope for the white femme.
"Eiphas speach." 'Eiphas thoughts.' 'Delphis thoughts.'

Ladonna was finally losing it; No sleep, no food, no one to talk to, everyday seeming like the day before. Ladonna thought she was hearing things when she heard talking in the distance, it sounded like the same voice as if someone were talking to themselves. Ladonna hadn't recognized the voice, was she hearing the words of someone she didn't even know? The fae quietly started to whimper, she was terrified. She lifted her head and looked around, seeing nothing did she put her head on her paws again. Now she was smelling the 'voice'! It was definitely another femme, was her subconscious creating some other wolf?
So many questions.. So many questions that she had no answers for. Creeper after creeper, she felt as if she was being stalked by something or someone. Ladonna started to shout in her head over and over "Leave me alone. Leave me alone..! Leave me alone!" And then she shouted it, "Leave Me Alone!!" Not realizing that she had just shouted out her words instead of keeping it in her head, Ladonna was really questioning herself... What was she doing on a beach where she's doing nothing but starving slowly to death, dying of heat stroke and then frost bite? Mood: Scared Song: Disturbia Time: Evening Companion: Eipha

Eipha lifted her nose into the air, trying to analyse the new scent. It was a fae, definitely, and their didn't seem to be any traces of a pack on her. These facts could have put rest on the femmes frantic mind, but it didn't. Just because she wasn't a pack wolf, didn't mean she wasn't dangerous. Even though it wouldn't be wise to run into a lone male at the moment, what with mating season rapidly approaching, it did not mean that a female could do any less damage. Senna had proved that well. Still, the white wolf resisted the urge to flee, curious to atleast see who this smell was coming from.
'Leave Me Alone!!' Eiphas ears flattened to the back of her head at the sound, fear racing through her mind. However, one thing stopped her from running straight off. The shouting voice didn't sound like a threat. It sounded more like .. desperation? Fear? Definitely not the sound of somebody she should be scared of. The tone of the voice caught the femmes attention, sparking that hidden need to go and make sure whoever this wolf was, was Ok. So, with that thought in mind, she padded silently towards the sound, ears twitching at every little noise. The voices in her head whispered words in her mind, something she was very used to by now. They were warning her, saying nasty things, trying to scare her. The soft whispers told her of lone fae's being attacked by groups of rogue males, told her that that was probably what was happening now, what she was walking in to. Yet Eipha ignored them, safe with the knowledge that the only strong scents here, were that of the female.
Finally, she spotted a silouette, not to far up the beach from herself. It was a fae, larger than herself by quite abit, only without the weight, the fat, that an adult of her size should carry. She looked lost, alone, frightened, and seemed to be whimpering into her paws. "Hello?" The white wolf said softly, warily, "Are you Ok?"

"Hello? Are you Ok?" Was she imagining things again? Had she finally gone mad? She couldn't have, Ladonna had never heard that voice before. The fae got up and looked around her, the smells and sounds were to much to call fake. Ladonna's ears perked up for anything else the 'imaginary' wolf might say, and the fur on her back switched between up and then down.. Up! And then down again. Ladonna tried to relax herself, and she said "H-hello..?" The femme looked to the side and saw a white coated wolf. Either this was some REALLY strong hallucination or this was for real. Fear was twisting and turning in her head, creating even more questions. Mood: Confused Song: Mystery of You Time: Evening Companion: Eipha

Eipha,
Suddenly, the smell of pure fear filled the air, like a thick smoke. It was almost as though Eipha could see it, it was lingering that heavily. For some reason, though, it made all of her own fear disappear. Maybe because a wolf that was this scared was definitely not a threat to her. Perhaps it was a lost pup, or something? No, that couldn't be right. Mating season had arrived, she knew this because she had again come into heat, meaning her body was ready to mate, even if her physical strength would not be enough to allow her to. This meant that any pups born to summer would be far to young to be on their own. But what if the mother had died? No, again, with the temperature so high in the last season, any pups that had been left alone, even for half a day, without the protection of their mother, would have surely died.
Still, Eipha was curious, and so she started forward again. Perhaps this bigger wolf had a pup with her? Maybe they needed help? 'H-Hello?' The femme stopped at the sound, ears swivveling in the direction that it was comng from. "Who's there?" She asked softly, "I'm not going to hurt you, if thats what you scared of.." Eipha looked around the beach again. She was definitely the only individual here, except for the nervous wolf. What could she possibly be so afraid of? Their were no males, no pack wolves, no .. anything! Eipha was lost on this one.
(finished, not my best, sorry)

"Who's there? I'm not going to hurt you, if that's what you're scared of.." This wolf was clearly no figment of her imagination, she could hear, see, and smell this femme perfectly well. Ladonna started to feel less and less scared, knowing she hadn't quite lost her mind yet. She answered softly, "I'm nothing more then a wolf like you, knowing you wont hurt me is very reassuring." Yes, knowing this other wolf was not going to hurt her made her feel so much better. A lode of relief came over her, feeling less scared but not anymore safe. Ladonna hesitatingly padded towards the voice that had spoken to her. This was her final test to see if this wolf was telling the truth and was really real.
