Akila rushed onto the beach, the thrill of being away from the dreaded clumps of trees, and yet still in the reach of the large cliff's shade ran through her, taking away any bothers of the suns heat that had before plagued her mind. She pawed the ground curiosly, watching with discust as the sand stuck to her black pads. Well, as long as it did not get into her fur, she could manage. Just.
She hadn't been here before, but had heard alot about it. The land was seen as sacred by all wolves of Kongrai, whether that ranged from the deadly myth Zentha, to a lowly pack omega. All looked upon this beach with great respect. And in Akilas eyes, it certainly did seem sacred! It was like a paradise, the breeze coming off of the waves, providing releif from the ever present heat of the sun, the pleasant feeling of being near the water running through her mind, the chance to just dive into the shallows, if the need be. And, when the sun finally surrendered to the nights sky, the moon would be large, and low, providing perfect communication with the gods.
This, was heaven.

Ladonna Ladonna was eager to smell that salty sea air! The sun was hotter here but there was an infinite body of water just waiting for the two wolves to jump in! It wouldn't be of common wolf behavior for wolves to burst into playful activity, but Ladonna was simply overjoyed with excitement!
Ladonna's pads left clear indentations in the hot sand; The waves seem to go on forever and the winds where so much cooler and refreshing then the simple gusts of heat that were blowing up in Ladonna's face that were previously in The Rocky Outback. The fae looked over at Akila and smiled. She said, Well, what are we waiting for? Mood: Overjoyed Song: Welcome To This Day Time: Afternoon Companion: Akila

The rolling, blue waves against the sunny, cloudless sky really was a beautiful sight. Especially when the heat of the sun was no longer a problem. Akila forgot about thr hunger in her stomach, forgot about how thirsty she was, and forgot about her tiredness.
'well, what are we waiting for?' Ladonna said, the sheer excitement she seemed to be feeling radiating from her voice, and Akila found the grin on her face incredibly contagious. She grinned like a mad-man back at her, the sudden burst of happy adrenaline making her body shiver, even though it was by no means anywhere near cold. The fae laughed joyfully, and bounded over to where the waters edge was.
Normally, she was incredibly conscious of getting her lovely white fur dirty. Akila was a proud wolf, she took pride in the sheer whiteness of her coat. But not today. She pressed her paws into the wet sand firmly, and then plodded backwards in a rush as the tide came in, and out again quickly, watching it wash away her pawprints. Then she leapt straight into the shallows, water flying everywhere.

Ladonna As Akila leaped into the water Ladonna followed and the water was so refreshing, it wasn't at all cold but it was much much better than baking in the hot summer sun! As the tide washed up and down on the shore Ladonna rolled around and panted in the water. She couldn't remember the last time she had this much fun!
Or any fun for that matter. Ladonna realized this was the only sensation she felt in 6 months, in winter she met up with her sister for the first time in 2 years. But sadly it was only for a few quick moments, Ladonna felt like Akila was a friend more than her own sister was. The thought of meeting someone new only made splashing around more fun. The white femme watched as Ladonna raced past her into the shallows. She grinned as the darker wolf seemed to be feeling the exact same excitement that was currently washing through her body like a cold drink, creating sudden sparks of energy.
Now, Akila was a fairly good swimmer. And this ability to swim had saved her life on more than one occasion. Memories of being trapped on an Island with the Brute Flint, stuck between the great open ocean, and the vile pack of two-leggeds flashed through her mind, but she quickly shook them out, erasing them from her thoughts as the appeal of the cool water overwhelmed her obsessive need to keep her coat clean.
She bolted further into the water, tongue lolling, big grin on her maw, purposely allowing her legs to give way so her body fell into the cool sea, rolling around, revelling in the sudden relief from the heat. She was careful not to go in to deep, as she knew what the water was like here. The surface might look calm from above, but beneath, the currents were violent, and life threatening.
The sun was beginning to fall, soon allowing the moon to take place in the never-ending sky. The white femme looked forward to the moment. She'd be able to howl at the large moon, in the company of her new friend.

Ladonna As the sun began to set, Ladonna looked up and panted in excitement. All Ladonna was thinking about as she glanced at the tired sun was how eventful today was, meeting her new friend and finding a way to escape the summer heat. Could today get any better? Ladonna wished today would never end...
If Ladonna could just finished the day with the greatest howl that she had ever taken, that would end the day perfectly... It would be even better if it was a full moon, full moons are the light of night. The light of the stars just started to show directly in the south of the sunset, but you could just nearly see them. And there it was. The very thing some wolves waited their entire lives to see. The very same thing many canines had travelled miles and miles at see. And here it was, infront of them. Akila beamed up at the moon, sitting on the sand just out of reach of the water.
The moons light made the beach glow, a sudden magical but eerie look taking over. The sea calmed, any sounds evaporating into nothing. The time was now.
Akila suddenly felt incredibly nervous. This was something she'd waited for all her life. Something her mother had told her about just before she'd fall asleep as a pup. But what if it wasn't what she'd always imagined it to be? What if it really didn't live up to her expectations? No, she decided silently, looking over to the other wolf, she'd let Ladonna howl first.
