After a day and a half of travel and constant thinking about what his alphess had said. Shade found himself deep inside of what he considered to be enemy territory but there was no way he was going to leave until he proved himself to her that he could be level-headed just like any other member of the xyla pack. He had convinced himself that he was only here to speak with either Kaija or Senna, He didn't care if they attacked him out not he was not going to fight back.
He looked around the surrounding area and found himself on the Petra beach. He chuckled softly if skyla was anything like xyla and if they had any scouts left he had already been spotted and they were most likely already on their way to inform their alphas and warriors. His whole body tingled he could sense something was not right but he couldn't see or see it at all. What could have been driving his fur crazy.

Oh, would he ever escape these dark moods that seemed to constantly envelope around him? Every day, his heart hardened more and more, running up to the point where he was sure he would some day rot in hell for the bad deeds he had done. It did not bother the Brute, though. Why live life worrying about what would happen if he committed crimes, when killing was so much fun? Might aswell enjoy your time whilst you still have it, regardless of what would happen afterwards. If their even was an afterwards. Kaija snorted with irritation. God, their was nothing to do around here any more. His day-to-day routein consisted of boarder patrol, eating and sleeping, and it was downright boring.
The fact that mating season was rapidly approaching didn't help, either. He'd found his mind being fogged by a possessing, almost greedy need to keep any unknown Brutes out of his pack lands. Whether they were here for a reason or not, they were still a threat to him. And so he put an end to their threat, often via death. But a long time had passed now, since anybody had wandered unexpectantly into his hell (that he knew of, anyway), and chances were, anybody he had not caught, Senna would have taken care of them with great thrill. The Brutes mind wandered across to the femme. It was strange, she was regarded by most likely the entire Island as a bloodthirsty killer. Heck, that was even the impression he'd had of her, when he'd first joined the Skyla. But he'd seen an entirely different side to her. Especially since the pair had bought a litter of pups into the cruel world. She'd been so soft, so caring, so loving towards them. Probably best he didn't tell anybody that, though, 'else she might just kill him.
He needed more in his life, again. Needed excitement, ferocity, he needed some action. That was why he was so curious when he noticed Tamen up in the sky, flapping frantically towards him. The large bird landed on the floor beside Kaija, in an oddly unco-ordinated lump. 'Kaija .. Theirs .. a .. theirs a wolf .. on the beach .. not a pack member .. thought you should know..' Tamen reported, panting from exhaustion due to all his flying. The Brute raised his head from its cradle on his front paws, intrigued as to what his Opakti was telling him. 'Really? And what is this wolf doing, on my beach?' He inquired with a dark smile. Finally, something to do!
The alpha lifted himself heavily off the ground, his mood reaching higher at the thought of having something to take his irritation out on, as he padded across his lands towards the beach, Tamen souring through the skies above him. With his fast pace, and keeness to get this Brute off his lands, it did not take long for him to pad out onto the beach, and his eyes soon locked in on the lone wolf stood by the waters edge. Kaija inhaled deeply, taking in the scents that drifted from the Brute, trying to distinguish where he was from. So he was of his sisters pack? And with no Kishi with him .. interesting. It wasn't like his sister to send one of her pack mates into a dangerous territory without her there to lead them. Unless she did not know he was here?
Kaija smirked, trotting towards the male, with Tamen circling above them. 'Shall I go and find the Alphess and her dog?' The bird inquired loyally, flying off towards the heart of the Skyla when Kaija responded with 'If you feel thats necessary, go ahead.'
The Brute stopped walking a short distance away from where the Xyla wold stood. Strange, he did not know this one from his previous visitations from his sister. Still, their was indeed something familiar about him. Perhaps it was just his pack smell? He lowered his head slightly, tail raised and stiff in a show of dominance. "Well, well, well, he said, his voice gravelly and deep, "What do we have here?"

Everything had been so calming since he had arrived maybe he was just over reacting or maybe just maybe he was still a little mad because of his fight with kishi. Or maybe just maybe it was just the fact that he was in an enemy territory. But still he was not afraid even though he had heard a sclot of rumors about the alphas cruelty in these parts. But just then the feeling of his surrounding seemingly changed from a nice peaceful feel to a almost deadly feeling. Shade knew that had to mean only one wolf had shown up.
As he turned around a slight gin on his muzzle as he faced the wolf."well well well" the wolf's voice was gravelly and deep. "What do we have here?". Shade was determined to stand his ground but really did not want to get into a fight. "You must be the mighty alpha of skyla i've heard so much about, Kaija is it?.. The rumors were true this wolf was very scary indeed but shade was not easily scared and this wolf even though he had reached the rank of alpha. Was no better then any other wolf he had met before in shade's mind. All wolves had to prove themselves but he had to shake his selfishness and eagerness to fight.
"Look im not here to fight you or any of your pack members,".There he had showed the wolf he was no threat. But if the wolf were to attack him shade would no doubt fight back to defend himself. Shade was no where near a push over but clearly neither was his would-be foe. So if he did get into a fight here he would have to be on the top of his game at all times and not get distracted or lose his focus for even a moment.

'You must be the mighty alpha of skyla i've heard so much about, Kaija is it?'
Oah, this wolf had heard of him before! How flattering, perhaps he had a bigger reputation than he had at first presumed. "That is correct. May I inquire as to whom I have here?" Kaija said, slowly beginning to circle around the intruding Brute. He was definitely an Xyla canine, the Alpha could tell that by his scent. He smelled of Kishi. Maybe his sister did know he was here? Now why would she send the wolf in alone? No, their was something about the way this Brute held himself, an almost guilty feeling that was floating from him, that lead Kaija to believe that his sister did indeed, not know he was here.
'Look im not here to fight you or any of your pack members.'
Still circling around his intruder, Kaija looked at the Brute properly, analysing the wolf's weight against his own. He was a typical Male, with a muscular body, and a weight much the same as his own. Even better. "Really? Then what exactly is it you are here for?" He asked, his voice dripping with venom. He could tell quite clearly that this wolf was itching to attack, but for some reason, he was hesitant to do so. Unfortunately, the Brute seemed to want to keep his visit here as a calm one. But even this wolf, as calm and collected as he may be acting, must have a certain breaking point. Something that would hit him where it hurt, and lure him into the fight. 'Lets see just how strong minded you really are, shall we?' He thought to himself, revelling in the possibilities that his new found game opened up.
"Tell me, Brute, had my sister sent you here for some specific reason?" Because you are wasting my time, he added silently, "because I don't believe she would send one of her pack members into such dangerous place without coming here herself." He continues with the circling, the challenging tone clear in his voice. "Or is her precious Warrior here behind her back?" The Brute smiled maliciously, watching the wolf carefully for whatever reaction he may give.
He wanted to attack, wanted to fight, needed to taste the blood in his mouth. But for now, he was quite content with his new found form of taunt.

Okay it was true that kishi had informed him not to enter the skyla territory. But he didn't want anything to happen if she came alone it was clear that her brother was unpredictable that much was for sure. " I'm here for my own reasons, and besides we may be rivals but i am not heartless. that was a very harsh winter". He he just admited to caring for his rivals? the love for kishi was clearly starting to change the once deadly xyla warrior. He sighed deeply and looked at the male.
"I've actually come for some advice..".The brute couldn't belive his own ears but he was in need of some advice and clearly he couldn't go to kishi for advice about how to break the news to her. Now could he?. He shook his head and looked back at the wolf circling him. He scoffed softly clearly this wolf was looking for a fight but shade was not in the mood to fight.
"Can you help me or shall i just head to another pack?". He stared at the wolf. Shade was clearly getting annoyed by the wolf's circling but didn't want to say anything about it it'd most likely cause a fight. Which is exactly what he wanted.

Kaija smirked, his tail flicking slightly with anticipation. This Brute was sure to put up a good fight, if only he could entice him into battle. He continued to circle slowly, enjoying the fact that it seemed to be irritaring his enemy with every inch he covered. The male watched the Xyla Brutes slight change in facial expression as his sister was mentioned, raising an eyebrow at the sight. Was it possible the warrior had a soft spot for Kishi? Perhaps a certain .. attraction to her? It was understandable, he supposed, with it being so close to mating season now. Brutes minds would fog over, their lives being controlled by that one feeling, the overwhelming need for a femme. That was probably what caused the change in facial expression on the Wolf when Kishi was mentioned. Interesting. But his sister? Seriously?
'I'm here for my own reasons, and besides we may be rivals but i am not heartless. that was a very harsh winter.'
He had to silently agree, the past year had been a very hard one, with Winter taking its toll on the pack. It was a wonder how he and Senna had managed to keep the pups alive and safe, with so many predators around, and so little food. Best not to mention the pups to him, though. That'd most likely put them in alot of danger. "Well, I never doubted you were heartless. You did not tell me your name, Brute." He smiled maliciously, a new idea forming in his head. "So, does Kishi know your here, or not? I'd hate to think you've left her there alone. Especially with mating season so close. Just think of what could happen to that poor fae if a group of rogues were to happen upon her, with you not around for protection. Just think what could be happening to her right now." He knew the words coming from his mouth were sick and twisted, much like his mind, but they were true. Kishi was prime meat. And he knew fully well that the idea of this would ruffle a few of the males feathers.
'I've actually come for some advice.. Can you help me or shall i just head to another pack?'
Kaija chuckled roughly. This was certainly a turn in conversation! What did the Brute possibly need help with, that would require him to venture all the way out here, behind the back of his Alphess? If any of his pack were to do this, he'd kill them without question, for disobeying him! Unfortunately, his sister was too light hearted for that. That was why she'd never have done well in their parents pack. "That all depends, what exactly is it that is so important that you feel the need to ask the Alphas of your rival packs, and not your own Alpha? If Kishi knew, she would be very hurt. Possitively heart broken."

The males words had sunk in and began to anger him. But shade was an experienced warrior and he knew that the male was trying to bait him into attacking first so he could claim that he defended himself. But shade just grinned softly though the pain of his words until the male said his alphess's name. That was it.. shades heart sunk the grin slowly faded from his muzzle as he took in a deep breathe.
Listening to the male go on and on until finally he couldn't take it any longer. He had to speak up for his alphess but then again he was deep inside enemy territory who knows how many wolves the male had postioned between shade and the xyla territory. He still did not know how many wolves he was facing plus the alpha standing before him was one of the most feared alphas in the lands and rightfully so. "My name is Shade and.." .He sighed deeply before looking to the ground then back at the male.
"the reason i came here without kishi's permission is because.. the advice i need is about her..". He slowly turned his back to the male which was a very dangerous thing to do no matter who your facing and walked toward the waves before sitting down letting another sigh escape his muzzle. "Things between me and her.. have become very awkward to say the least and yes i know mating season is fast approaching but this..it feels unlike that its something more.."

'My name is Shade and the reason i came here without kishi's permission is because.. the advice i need is about her.'
Shade. A strong name, quite fitting for the Brute, given the colour of his dark coat. He had heard of this one, definitely. Xylas greatest warriors, one of Kishis most trusted pack mates. But, hell, she'd trust anybody with her life if they knew the right words to say. It didn't mean anything. He was probably a decend fighter, at most. Kaija snorted. "And so you've come to me. How very interesting." It struck him as quite odd, that the wolf would come to him when wanting advice over how to get into his own sister good books, with the intend of what? Mating with her? HA.
'Things between me and her.. have become very awkward to say the least and yes i know mating season is fast approaching but this..it feels unlike that its something more.'
The tips of his mouth peaked up in a Smirk. This wolf was practically delivering it to his paws! Kaija spent his life working out what verbal abuse would send a wolf to his breaking point, and yet this Brute was letting it all out willingly! He pulled a false serious face, keeping his tone calm and almost gentle, "Tell me, Shade, does my sister not know of your .. attraction to her? She is very good at hiding her emotions, and with everything that has gone off in the past, with that other Brute, Kione, he said the name with a mock tone of discust, "getting her to feel the same way about you will not be easy."
If he wanted to get at this wolf, then he would need to play friendly, until the opportunity rose for him. And if it caused some emotional trouble in the Xyla? Even better.

He started to laugh a grin forming onto his muzzle. As he turned and stared at the brute before him chuckling softly."You honestly think i'd tell you?. he couldn't believe that he had fooled one of the toughest alphas around. he would walk toward the xyla territory. his tail swaying from side to side as he thought about how he had fooled him over and over again inside his mind as he chuckled softly to himself.
His aud's perked up to listen for any incoming attack from any wolf. His body was already on high alert and ready to dodge then strike back. But this could be tell by the way he was walking if he was out for a causal stroll his pace would be a little faster and he'd take longer steps. But now his steps were smaller and more careiful. Almost as if he was assuming to be attacked. If he was attacked it wouldn't surprise him in the least.
He would love to rub the alphas nose in it but he needed to report back to his alphess. Hopefully kishi would understand why he did what he did. But maybe he should tell her how he truly felt before telling her that he had disobeyed her orders. he kept going over how he would tell her his true feelings over and over in his head.

Kaija glared as the opposing wolf took on a wide smirk. 'You honestly think i'd tell you?' He was slightly confused, how had the conversation turned against him so quickly? He had been ready to play his game, for gods sake, and now this wolf was padding off, thinking he had won?! That, he could not allow to happen. A mischievious smile evolved onto his maw, he would get the last say in this. If their was one thing he was good at, it was holding a Grudge against someone. And it looked as though he'd just found himself a new worst enemy.
The opportunity to attack rose when the wolf turned his back to walk away, but Kaija restrained himself, watching the dark furred dog as he padded back towards his pack lands. So, he was wanting to take Kishi as a mate? Yet he'd just made himself top of the death list of her vicious brother. Smart move. The Brute turned his back on the situation, padding moodily back into the heart of the Skyla lands.
Well, whether she accepted him or not, it did not matter to Kaija. No matter who he was, he was going to kill him. That wolf was as good as dead.
[Exit Kaija]
