Winter was quickly beginning to set its deathly embrace onto the Island, leaves curling up and dying, falling to the floor hopelessly to leave the resident trees cold and bare looking. A bone-reaching chill spread across the fields, slowly building up momentum until it had turned itself into a fully blown gale-force wind, forcing itself upon anyone and anything that was unfortunate enough to stand in its way. It did not take long for the rain to throw itself into the equation, causing the weather to turn into something close to unbearable.
A bulky, dark furred figure emerged onto the scene, paws falling against the earth heavily as he braced himself in the ongoing battle against the oncoming wind. A snarl ripped from his maw, and the wolf lowered his head slightly, protecting his face from the dangerous weather. So, this was his new home. He'd only been here for a week, and the male had come to the conclusion that it was a dire place. A week. A whole week since he had left his home lands. Their really wasn't much difference between the land in which his parents territory had lain, and this Kongrai. Except for the weather. The weather here was discusting. Completely not what he was used to. He would manage, though. He always managed. It was how he survived.
Keiku. A name that had spread fear and respect through the wolves he had grown up with. His younger pack mates had looked up to him, and his older pack mates had feared him. It was a situation he had been more than comfortable with, and the male had thrived in the midst of his old life. But then things had grown more difficult. Before, any pups born into the pack were immedietly presented to him, and he had quickly turned them in to his little minions. They had done everything he wished of them, and Keiku had soon gained himself a rank even higher than heir to the throne. He had control. But then, things had gone wrong. And Keiku found that that very control he was working so hard for was slipping away from him.
Something had to be done.
So, the male had left his mark. With his two siblings, Kishi an Kaija, now gone and out of the equation, he would be the one to take over the pack if something were to happen to those beloved parents of his. It was a perfect way to gain back the control that was rightfully his. So, he had done the deed. In the dark of the night, Keiku had taken the lives of both the mother and father that had cherished him so much as a pup. The wolves that had taught him everything he knew today, they were both dead. Leaving Keiku with the opening to the throne. For some reason, though, he had felt inclined not to take it, something that annoyed him a great deal now that he was here, on the Island that was supposedly home to his siblings. He wished to pay them both visits, of course, to get a few things settled between them. He looked forward to the little family reunion, looked forward to seeing the horror on the faces at his return.
These next few weeks were going to be fun.
ooc: Could somebody please come along and tell him about the whole Zentha situation? Thanks!

It was unusual for the evil monster to be about without Credo at his side. Things were rolling into motion, and it would soon be time for another gathering of his followers. Two had recently been lost, but they were of no consequence. Their insubordination would be swiftly paid for. There were plenty more where those two had come from, many that were grateful for what Zentha offered them. As he moved, slowly, thoughts swirling at a constant through his mind over the plans that were being discussed with Credo over the days, the beast hardly noticed the dark furred body of another, though the scent did not go unnoticed. Keiku was one of the newest of the swarm that had come, and he seemed to show a certain amount of promise, though the beast was currently on a trial period. One did not gain entrance amongst the ranks of his followers without proving they could be trusted. Lifting his cranium high, the obsidian demon drew nearer to the other canine, movements slow and deliberate.
Zentha would not speak first. No, if the other saw, the man would expect the proper respect be paid before words were passed. It was not unreasonable, not in the twisted mind of the male. What leader would not demand respect from his subordinates? The only one that was exempt from these actions was Credo, simply because the pallid right-hand had earned his way to such pleasures. Ceasing movement, the monstrous paladin stood, still as a statue, chilling eyes watching the form of the other from a distance. There were things that were to be discussed, yet they were to be made known at the coming meeting. Keiku would certainly gain no insight here, though Zentha hoped the other beast had some sort of information that could be beneficial. He did not send his followers out into the lands for nothing.
The past of this fellow was certainly not unbeknownst to Zentha. The murdering of one’s parents was enough to cause the demonic brute to entice you to join, even though it was still mandatory that each new follower go through the trial period. There was no room for foolish wolves here, no room for the weak of heart or the deceptive. There was very little Zentha tolerated, and this program had been implemented after the insolence of Kenya and Bruce had occurred. That was unacceptable, and it certainly could not happen again. Though they were replaceable, it was a true pain to have to waste time and effort sending wolves out to punish the traitors. There were more important things at hand, more pressing matters that needed to be tended to. However, such a crime could not go unpunished, and the faster they were tended to, the faster the tribe could move forward.
ooc; craptastic post is craptastic. sorry it took me longer than expected!

The fae made her way though the field, a grin on her maw although anyone would think that she would be depressed that her cover with a deadly pack like the skyla would have more of an effect on her and they would be correct if it were not for the fact that, sarah was not as nice and friendly has she had led everyone to believe, deep down inside her was this evil, cruel famora, it actually rivaled the fae known as senna, but sarah usually used her beauty to get what she wanted instead of trying to force her way on other wolves, but that time was over, she owed her life to zentha after all he did spare her and she was not going to give him a chance to rethink that choice, if he did then things may not of ended well for her.
Soon enough her true leader came into sight, the grin growing wider on her muzzle, she could smell the other brute but paid him little to no mind, he seemed to be a new recruit and besides she still needed to show her leader her respect before she would ever even look at another male while in his presence, sarah had learned this the hard way and she was not going to make that mistake again, the last time she did it almost cost her her rank and put her back on the trial list, a thing that sarah detested with all her might, as she neared her Superior she lowered herself so that he was clearly taller then her and gently nuzzled along the under side of his jaw before backing away.
"With all due respect sire.. i have some terrible news", she went on to inform him about how kenya failed to kill the warrior fae known as cinder and how she was there now with the alphas, how she was surely going to blow her cover so fearing for her life, after all she had heard the stories about how cruel the skyla alphas could be, she went on to say that she would of killed cinder herself but it would of blown her cover as a skyla sentry. that word..skyla...just was so foul on her tongue now. after and only after finishing her report with a respectful bow of her head, did she cast her gaze over to the new brute.
she chuckled softly and brought her rump to the ground sitting somewhat beside the one she admired, she did not wish to speak again unless granted permission to by zentha, she knew that he needed the time to absorb the information that he had been given. she took this time to move closer to him, it was no surprise to anyone well maybe besides zentha that sarah had a interest in him, she always liked strong demanding males, and honestly he had been the most demanding male in her life in a long time.

To say that the scent of the beast himself approaching did not strike fear into the very heart of a wolf would be a lie, even to a male such as Keiku. He had been through some tough times, many of which he had caused upon others, and yet, when the distinct smell of his new masters approach wafted into his nostrils, Keiku felt immedietly put in his place. Even the scent seemed to demand respect, respect that Keiku was more than willing to provide. The Brute ceased in his walking, turning his entire stature to face the master that was advancing so quickly on him, his body angled slightly to ensure that he was below eye level- the correct thing to do when in the presence of such a wolf. He wanted to be sure that none of his actions would cause the male to take offense, for that would surely be the death of him. It had become clear incredibly quickly that Zentha would easily out-do him in strength, and Keiku was not willing to test that, either.
A week. He had been here for less than a week, and the wolf that seemed to be on the minds and mouths of every single individual he had come across had been Zentha. It had intrigued him beyond belief. What was it about this Brute that everybody was so hung up about? He had soon found that one out himself. Zentha had approached him several days before now, and the pair had come to a sort of agreement. Keiku had joined his ranks, would serve his master well, even if he was on trial, and in return, he was provided with the protection of a group. It all suited him very well, in the males eyes. This could be it, the very thing he had come here to accomplish. He knew of Zenthas plans- to take his place as leader of the Skyla clan, and to do this, he would need to do the very thing Keiku had been longing to see for months now. He'd have to take down Kaija.
Their was no doubt in Keiku's mind that he could do it. After all, Zentha was a powerful male, leading a powerful group of wolves. Any individual would be foolish to try and stand in the way of such a force. One of the very reasons he had joined. To aid Zentha in his battle against the Skyla, would be to aid in the downfall of Kaija, his brother. Keiku lowered his body closer to the ground at the approach of the beast, dipping his head in a respectful greating. Master.
Another wolf approached them, padding at a quick, urgent pace that the male had become very familiar with. It became clear that it was a femme, but was nobody he recognised. Had she noticed that they were here? Surely she wouldn't be walking straight towards them in such a way if she had? To be out here in this weather, alone and without anyone for protection, and walking straight towards a beast like his master, seemed pretty dumb to him. Especially since this was a weak little fae. Perhaps he'd be allowed some fun here, at the femoras expense? As the girl continued to approached, Keiku looked to his king for some sort of reaction. Eventually though, it was made evident that this fae did know who they were- or atleast, knew who her master was, as she greeted Zentha with the expected submissive manner, before speaking outloud.
