He was the alpha of the Exousia, the highest rank a wolf can be within the confinements of a pack. He was now the keeper and defender of these lands and he would make sure that the wolves that made their home here were ensured the very best safety. No one that bared the Exousia scent would be forced into submission, he was the one that was sovereign over them and would simply not tolerate it from any outsider. The wolf was no longer a loner he was a member of a pack... And a newly found alpha at that. He had to push himself to the very best, he had to make sure everything the pack needed was endowed. He promised himself, that he would simply give his all. He would make sure that every bit of effort was put into it, he wouldn't allow failure, he couldn't. The brute patrolled his territories borders, sure, he had others to that very job for him, but at least when he did it he knew that it was done and done right. Signa made sure the borders were thick with the packs scent, that way anyone wandering would know that this area was claimed and if someone did intrude they better have a damn good reason to why they did so.
The wolf silently walked on the forest floor, clinging to the shadows of the wooden towers. He was vigilant and stiff with tension, Signa was in all means not scared, he just didn't like to be caught by surprise to any trespasser. His pale oatmeal orbs peered around the edges of his territory, looking around one last time for anything that looked suspicious before quietly continuing his trek. His brute size should have made the loudest of noises, crunching into the ground, but he learned with enough patience that every step he made could be as silent as a ghost dissipating through the surrounding trees. The large brute walked and his thoughts soon came to his alphess, a small smile flashed against his features, She still doesn't think I am worthy enough to hold this title. He smiled at the thought of a challenge the snow white alphess held for him, he would prove himself to her, he had to. The brute continued forward, listening to the songbirds singing beautiful tunes high in the trees as he walked.

The ashen colored fae strolled along the borders of her pack's land. All the while deep in thought about the brute who had somehow worked his way into the rank of alpha male. if he thought that it would be that simple to gain her trust then he would be in for a rude awakening. She heard that the xyla pack now had an alpha male and female that were not mates, that was not about to happen to her pack if he wanted to keep the rank of alpha male then he would somehow have to find a way to completely gain her trust and that would be alot easier said then done, the further she strolled the more the scents changed, she could see that at least some prey had come back to her lands that was a good sign at last her pack would be able to have a decent meal.
But that was not what really grabbed her attention the next scent that invaded her snout was that of the new brute which kind of struck her as odd why would he be out here alone that's when it hit the fae like a ton of bricks, He must of been out here to prove himself as the alpha male. "Okay, He's determined I'll give him that" She thought as a small grin spread across her lips slightly revealing her ivory white canines, She decided to follow the male to see exactly what his intentions were, If he truly did have her pack's best interest at heart then maybe.. just maybe he would prove useful as her alpha male but that was still yet to be seen.
The femme slowly made her way around the bend and sure enough there he was, trying his hardest not to be seen but this fae knew all the tricks in the book or at least most of them plus she knew this land's lay out better then him, she slowly slipped back into the foliage trying to stay up wind or at least camouflage her scent so she could sneak up on the male, she wouldn't spring her surprise just yet after all she wanted to see exactly how he acted when she wasn't around and if she sprung her trap now well that would just completely destroy that plan now wouldn't it?, She snuck up to a bush she figured would be along his route and hunkered down hoping that the plants around her would be enough to hide her scent from him.

His memories were lost, somewhere off in a distant land, and it ached him constantly. He couldn't help thinking about it as he patrolled the edge of the land. Sometimes he secretly wished for his life’s chronology to come flooding back to him, but perhaps it was best if he didn't know... The last thing he can remember is waking up on the shores of Kongrai. Why was he out there... if only he could remember. His brows furrowed in frustration for not being able to do something so simple as remembering his past. The arcadian brute parted his ebony lips, breathing in the crisp morning air and exhaling, he could not allow himself to worry about affairs of his past life. As if physically shaking the dreaded feeling from the figments of his mind, he focused on what lay ahead. The importance of his position and to those that called themselves Exousia. That was all that mattered now and he would not allow any screw ups from his part. He would not concern himself with unimportant musings, at least not now. He needed to focus, only thinking about the future of his regiment. And right now, he was doing so by patrolling his borders. Keeping any and all trespassers at bay from harming the residents of the territory. After all, his pack was all that mattered now.
Signa walked in a rhythmical pace, glancing around with his camel orbs for any indications of wanderers or anything displaying signs of trouble. Intruding his line of sight was an unusually large pine, lifting his head, the wolf fixated his gaze above at the branches sprawling out in different directions as the trunk ascended into the cerulean sky for what seemed like forever. It towered over it’s neighboring trees, holding some all knowing atmosphere to the air around it. A short moment of serenity filled Signa’s interior as he examined the ancient timber. Leaning on his hind quarters, Signa lifts his fore paws up to the bark of the tree, digging his claws into the elderly bark, leaving his mark for all to see. It almost pained him to obscure something that seemed so historical, but this tree is bound to go notice to any nomad and if they were to see the engraving then they would acknowledge that the land is taken and to either suck up and join or part ways. He wouldn't allow some moron to waltz in giving some piss poor excuse that the borders weren't marked very well, when Signa himself left his mark on every other land mark of the packs presence. A sigh escaped his broad chest, what exactly would he do if he spot a foreigner in his lands? As a loner, if confronted by a stranger, he would simply choose another path, avoiding them altogether. But of course if they were injured or attacked, he would run to their defense. The nagging question tugged at his mind. Would he be a harsh leader or a benevolent one? Would it be too much to want both? What kind of leader is Signa?
The brute thought about this as he moved further inland, satisfied with today's patrol, in direction of a source of water. He moved now with ease now that he was closer to the heart of the pack and approached a small stream that built up from the past rains. Bending down to the ground, a brightly pigmented pink tongue escaped from his maw, lapping up the cool translucent liquid. He drank, every so often glancing up, looking around in case something was out there, waiting for the perfect chance to strike. He seemed somewhat on edge, as if someone was lurking... even as he made his way further inland. Something was out there, that much he knew... But was to what or who it was he didn't know, instead of coming to the attention to the instinct, he stood with ease rather than spring into action. Signa looked around, ears twitching in all directions in an attempt to detect whatever lies hidden, but heard nothing of it. He couldn't even seem to pick up on a scent. Casually he made his way from the flowing water. The wolf played coy, as if he didn't have a sense of whatever lay camouflaged from his line of sight, waiting for the covert creature to make the first move. And what a mistake would it be for it to pick a fight with him, if that was it’s intentions here. He would play this little game, “Let’s just see how this will turn out”, he thought, trying to hold back the corners of his lips from lifting into a taunting smirk.
[Eh, lazy. So I guess done. ]

The femme would just watch as the brute made his way inland as he seemed to be finished with his patrol, A small playful grin formed on the alphess's lips as she started to follow after him all the while staying in the shadows in every sense of the word, Trying her best to avoid being detected by him until it was time for her to strike and scare him half to death, That is just one of the games this alpha want to be would have to get use to because when Lobolita was in the right mood she was down right playful, As playful as a yearling who had just been allowed their first taste of real freedom, As she got closer she knew it would be easyer to detect her scent but did she care? Not really she was having to much fun at the moment and besides this was a test to see what kind of alpha he would make wasn't it not? So of course she wanted to be caught but all in do time and it was not yet time to end the game but she would have to provide him with a little motivation.
She would dart out a few yards ahead of him just far enough so he wouldn't be able to recognize her quickly nor would he be able to catch her scent before she disappeared back into the foliage once more, All she would be to him is a brief figure of which was staring at him in a dominant stance as any wolf would when they went to challenge for control of the territory but then the "Figure" would dash off hopfully he would give chase in an attempt to defend the land he now called him and if he did instead of finding a intruder.. well let's just say he would be in for quite the surprise when the game finally comes to its end.
She back tracked to the source of water leaving a clear trail for him to follow if he did decide to pursue the figure, Figuring she had sometime before he would arrive she let her guard down for abit and walked over to the refreshing liquid then slowly lowered her frame before poking her pink tongue out and starting to lap up some of the transparent liquid and my did it taste good, She closed her eyes for a moment just to take in the taste before resuming to get a drink, She would then find a nice comfortable rock and decided to await the "Alpha"'s appearance.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y530/Name-Here-The-Best/MIDDLE3_zps9348b5ad.png] Hidden in the veils of the forests thick foliage was something, that he knew for sure, yet his predatory senses could not pick up as to what exactly this creature was... or who. The behemoth king's paws would dig into the soft earth, leaving evidence of his travels behind him as he walked up a dirt path. He tried his best to keep his muscles relaxed, trying to appear as if he was oblivious to the possible threat, but truth be told, he was anxious to find this person an put a stop to this trespassing. But for now he played coy with this possible threat.
The further he moved up the dirt path, the more detectable the scent of this creature became to him. He knew for a fact, that this was another of his species, a wolf. He wanted to lash out at the wolf, find he or she as soon as possible and punish them for invading his land, but he wouldn't last in a chase for long, so he had no choice, but to wait for the wolf to present them self.
He had not expected when a white figure jumped a top the hill of the dirt path a few yards in front of him, standing in an aggressive territorial stance no less and darted away. The first instinct that came to mind, was to give chase, but he knew his limitations and he could not give chase for very long, but he did follow the white figure. He went after the female, the scent of her gender clear in the scent trail she had left behind. His pace was quick and steady, but not a full out run. He tried his best to muffle the sound of his paws crunching the leaves and twig things on the forest floor as he followed.
She had led him to the same source of water where his instincts had first warned of him of another. There standing in the water getting a drink was Alphess Lobolita herself. He stayed hidden in the thicket, shaking his head back and forth as he tried to hold back a chuckle, "My my, look who it is, Alphess Lobolita" he mumbled to himself in a hushed tone.
Slowly he would try to creep up behind her, trying to stay hidden in the forest surrounding the small build up of water. He had managed to find a place behind her as she sat on a rock and lunged from his hiding place, trying to tackle her from the towering rock and into the water.
[Bleh, didnt really know what to do with this ]

The white fae remained lost in her musings unaware of the approaching male for the moment at least. Perhaps she had given him to hard of a time and he would make a good alpha?,Lobolita shook her head and scolded herself for even thinking such a thing after all she barely knew the male and he had yet to prove himself to her or their small yet growing pack. But if he could actually impress her then she would gladly honor his claim to the rank of alpha male but impressing her... that would be easier said then done and it seemed she wouldn't have as much time to think as she had assumed as her thorns perked up at a figure's approach, a small yet evil smile curved it's way onto her lips. She knew it was to late to counter his lounge but she could use his weight and momentum against him.
She awaited for the perfect moment the slightly lowered her bodice before the brute could make his impact. She could feel him passing above her only by few inches but it was enough and besides she had already spoiled his plan but she didn't need him getting wet or risking the water splashing back on her so she leaned up nudging him in mid air which would cause him to change direction. After her 'good deed' was done the alphess simply turned toward the brute watching him on his new crash course, her tail wrapping around her paws as she licked her lips softly before speaking.
"I'll give you credit, that was sneaky but not sneaky enough" She stated shaking her head once more as the thoughts from before floated back to the surface, forcing them to the back of her mind once more as she sighed playfully waiting to see how the male would respond to her comment and/or actions. After all she knew for a fact that males did not like to be shown up by their female counter-parts and that was she had just done. He had launched a perfectly surprise attack and if she wasn't as experianced as she is it might of worked but she hasn't been around as long as she has been by dropping her guard completely and letting herself be snuck up on and she clearly wouldn't be alphess of the pack either.
