Another unforgiving winter has gone and past, bringing forth a gentler season-Spring. A season of life and prosperity. Unfortunately, Kongrai never did see it in such a way. After every winter, the island became deathly silent, desolate even. The frigid temperatures was too much for the weaker wolves, leaving them perish at mother natures feet. Not only the cold affected the wolves, but the prey were scarce. It was hard to survive with little food. The savage pack of Skyla seemed to be taking the brunt of it. With small numbers that they already pocessed, it seemed unlikely that many would have survived into spring. Fortunatly enough, that wasn't the case for Senna. Though it was a troublesome season with all the situations that kept occuring, this was the dawn of a new year, and the dark queen saw change in sight.
The alphess slowly made her way across the golden sands, while the salty ocean greeted the queens feet every few seconds. Sapphire pools remained locked before her as her expression held great seriousness. A matter of importance was on her mind, and it needed to be dealt with. An odd, flat boulder jutted out of the grains of sand a few feet ahead of her. A perch that Senna dubbed her own. After discussing their packs persisting failures, they've decided it was time for something to be done. Even the alphess carried herself with a more authoritative attitude. Her opakti, Taro, remained behind her the whole way. The spirit knew exactly what was about to happen-of course, he was a guardian, and it wasn't hard to know this since he was connected with his masters thoughts. A pack meeting was in order.
Climbing upon her perch, it was easy to tell that her stomach was slightly larger than normal. Yes, the Skyla alphess was pregnant, and would be expecting her second litter in the coming weeks. She would tell this to her pack members once they've arrived, but more important matters needed to be discussed first. Rules needed to be changed, members needed to be dealt with-defiantly a meeting that would possibly change the Skyla. Lifting her muzzle to the clear blue skies, she parted jaws to loosen a long howl, a howl to summon everyone and everyone that belonged to this tribe. This pack would not live like they were a dying pack no longer. No longer would the Skyla be taken for granted, nor would the members be given petty warnings to their misdeeds. She was going to bring back the old Skyla ways, the way it used to be in those glorious days.
[OOC;; First, I apologize for the fail post-I've gotten a little rusty with Senna. ^^; Pack meeting! All pack members should come, though it's not required. Those that don't, will face the wrath of higher ranks later. I'm going to update the pack stats for Skyla, so keep on the lookout for that! :P]

A while had past since he had seen any other members of the Skyla. Infact, the last time he had seen a single soul, had been when a stray wolf, going by the name of Howlsong, had been attempting to gain acceptance into the pack. He had left her in the company of his mother, the Alphess Senna, returning to do his daily duties, and hadnt heard anything of the stray since. Amori has vaguely wondered on a few occasions whether she had become a member or not, but hadnt fretted over the question for too long. Wolves come and go frequantly, it wasnt anything new. of course, the evidence that his family were still around was strong, with the territory being scent marked and patrolled on a weekly basis, he just hadnt actually seen anybody in person.
The sound of a demanding howl came as quite a surprise to the young adults ears, and he dropped his focus from the small herd of Deer that inhabited these Fields to listen properly, distinguishing who the call belonged to. It was of course Senna, summoning her packs presence for some reason. Their was no question over whether to obey these orders, as the Skyla Alphess was notorious for her means of punishing the disobedient, and just because he was her son, didnt mean he would be excused from such punishments if he did not obey her commands. So, shifting his eyes one more time to observe the Deer herd, whos numbers had dwindled scarily over the past year, Amori lifted himself off of the ground that he had been lay, and trotted off towards the direction of the call.
His paws moved delicately, treading softly through the lands, gradually getting closer to the beach. The heavy sound of waves crashing upon rocks met his ears long before he could actually see anything, but the sights eventually met his eyes. His mother sat on her strange rock a few lengths away, looking as powerful and demonic as ever. Amori lowered himself slightly out of respect, and padded cautiously forward, making eye contact with Senna only once, and bowing his head. 'My Alphess.' He greeted, having long since stopped adressing her as mother.

The fiery, golden orb in the skies cast it's light upon Sorrow Woods, glittering through tiny pinholes of the trees canopy. A young, female wolf lay almost motionless beside a tall shrub. The only movements that still deemed her living, was the gentle, slow rising of her chest inhaling and exhaling. The heiress had grown over the harsh winter, both physically and mentally. She was started to look more and more mature with her feminine frame, but was gaining some muscle, just to be in the good graces of her alphas expectations. Her eye, however, never truly healed from last autumns situation with her mother. After Senna had gave her this cruel reminder of how the Skyla rules were enforced, Nemu had no choice but to wise up, and face the undeniable facts-she needed to grow up. Especially since everything that happened the first year of her short life-losing her two siblings, encountering the monstrosity Credo, putting herself and Amoris life in danger.. Those were only a few things on her long list of trouble that she had so easily 'accomplished'. Unfortunately, those days just might be over for her. She couldn't be a child forever, as much as she so hoped to be. With springs arrival, was also the arrival of her date of birth. Nemu was soon to be a yearling.
The lithe form outstretched her slender limbs as she awoke from her slumber, eye lids slowly peeling back to reveal bright, sapphire eyes. A trait she obviously inherited from her mother. After a short, silent yawn, and a quick scan to observe her surroundings, Nemu lifted herself off the ground, readying herself to hunt for a meal. The heiress didn't even manage to bring a paw forward, when a familiar howl sounded off in the distance. She knew exactly who so melodic lyrics belonged to, and knew by the sounds of it, the wolf wanted Nemus presence. Her mother requested, or more like demanded, for her packs attendance..it seemed important. They never had a meeting in so long.. she could only assume that her mom was making up for lost time. Or, maybe it was to bring up what happened with her last year. She sighed at the thought, not wanting to feel dozens of eyes bearing down upon her, scrutinizing Nemu for the countless mistakes she has made.
Nemu pressed forward, navigating herself through the dense wood towards the sound of her mothers voice. Oddly enough the only thing she could think of, was who would be in the audience of her alphas. They always told her how winters made the packs of this island suffer greatly at natures hand, but how true could their tales be? Would Nico be there? Cinder, or Scarlet? Ember..? There used to be so many names around here, that she could hardly tell if she could put with faces with which names. Before she knew it, the pads on her paws were touching a grainy texture as the earth seemed to squish between her toes. She was so lost in thought, that she was on Petra beach. She could see two figures in the distance, but she could not make out who they were. Obviously, one was her mothers.. perhaps the other was her fathers. Nemu was proved wrong as she reached her own flesh and blood-her brother, Amori. Figures he would arrive first. He was the 'good one', the only one who never got into trouble, who never seemed to do anything wrong. It was something that Nemu often tormented her brother about, but somehow she secretly envied him. Some looked more fondly upon him, while others thought of her more as.. well, what a skyla wolf was. Mischievous, and one not to be trusted. As she finally reached them, she slowed her gait to stand beside her twin brother, lowering her head and tail to show her respect for her mother, but not once giving her eye contact. It was the best, and only greeting she would receive from her stubborn daughter. The two never really straightened out their relationship, and perhaps never would.
She glanced to her brother, and gave him a simple nod. "Amori," Her feminine voice finally escaped, a voice that has grown from that squeaky, pup-like voice, to more mature vocals.. if only her personality changed as fast. She sat back onto her haunches, occasionally sweeping her long tail across the sand while waiting for others to arrive. She hoped she would see some familiar faces, but only time would tell. Maybe it was just her parents and brother left now.. maybe the others didn't make it through last season.

Heavy paws moved across the ground, dragging various bits of leaf litter along with them with each step, as the Brute moved slowly forward. He made no attempt to travel quietly, no attempt to conceal his wearabouts, for he had no fear of his surroundings. Boredom had long since taken those things from him, leaving him with a severe longing for company. He lacked canine companionship, and right this moment, wished for nothing more than a confused loner or two to wander upon his presence. That way, he might actually get to have some fun.
With nothing to do other than wander the borders, a foul mood had fallen on Kaija. Where were the loners? The trespassers? The innocent and lost? Hell, even a lower ranking pack member would do right now. He needed something to torment. Something wolf like, for Tamen the Opakti simply did not respond to his mind games any more. With a cold hearted huff, Kaija flopped his body against the floor, watching with little interest as the bird shaped Guardian circled a little above his spot.
Little time had passed when the earie song of his mate echoed over the trees, a sound that was not easily mistaken, for its owner was well known across the Island. Kaija flicked his tail once, and gathered himself up onto all fours, preparing himself to go and find this meeting that had just been announced. Senna was a formidable femme, and even he knew better than to not show up to her commands, else he'd feel her temper afterwards. The wrath a powerful, hormonal, pregnant fae was not particularly something he wished to endure. So, with large, heavy paws falling soundlessly over the leaf litter, the Skyla Alpha padded towards the meeting of his pack.
