she left chii's questions unanswered until they arrived because of the darkening earth. with its silence which for the the mojority of the trip was almost too much. with a eerie presence. propping the fae up on a tree once more she sat and began to answer the questions Kishi is still around, but unfortunately i heard since my last visit Karn passed some time back, i never knew of him, but the first brute i met here on kongrai he has been in persuit of Kishis heart and i believe he is now the Alpha his name is shade. as for zenthas followers i have heard storys of other follower but all seem to have a sensitive or soft side where they can have a conversation, and not be malicious so i believe credo is the only on so blood thirsty but i could be wrong..
she rose to her feet, her midnight orbs observing the scenery. she had only been here once before but felt as if she were home. she wasnt part of this pack but a great deal of pride filled her heart when she was here. letting out a long harmonic howl calling for any of the xyla to come and help.

Seconds rushed into minutes, and minutes quickly turned to hours. Daylight had faded, letting the great moon take the suns place behind the subsiding clouds. The entire time the vagabond walked beside this wolf, Satarah, her eyes did not take their gaze off the ground. She placed her entire trust, her life into her hands-the hands of a stranger walking her through the hovering darkness. Chikako simply had no other choice but to do this. Even if this stranger mean't her harm, she would have either died by her claw, or by the beasts fangs.
After the long, silent trip, Chi finally felt her crutch prop her up against a tree, exhaling tiredly as she did so. That's when the scent hit her. It wasn't too hard to miss-it was a strong stench, a smell of a pack. They've must have reached Xyla borders.. either that, or hey were already into their territory. Chikako was too exhausted to tell. The petite wolf did not stand long against the bark of the tree. Her frame gently slid down the woods, collapsing to the ground in a heap. This was not out of pain, but more so out of walking the long journey while losing a fair amount of blood. It was a life-threatening amount, but her wounds still needed attention in order to prevent further blood loss. All she wanted to do was sleep. Her body was sore, her gashes stung, and her mind was still a little scared of the situation that happened. Chikako could not sleep, not yet. She needed to remain awake, however much her eyelids threatened to droop.
Her ears pricked forward slowly as her friends voice sounded off. She finally answered the question she asked much earlier. Kishi still ruled, but unfortunately, her mate was long deceased, from how Satarah spoke. She did not formally meet the brute, but she still felt a little saddened for his departure-it must have hurt the lady Kishi to carry on her bloodline herself. She knew she had pups when she left, but without their father.. She must have been a strong mother. The wolfess continued on, speaking of a new wolf that seeked the Xyla queens heart. She never heard of this 'Shada' when she was here, but she only assumed he had the personality of the queen herself. It was even better news when she recollected of their being only on ruthless mongrel in the sorts of Zentha, while the others were capable of holding a conversation. That was promising news, but knowing Zentha, he would weed out the week. Terminate them, replace them with more suitable minions. She prayed to the stars, that she could be somehow wrong.
It was a lot of news to take in from being away so long. Though it was nice to be informed of how some things have changed, her attention returned to the sting and aches of her body. It didn't take long before Satarah loosened a lyrical howl, beckoning any help from a Xyla wolf able to lend their support. Chikako could only hold her breath. It was unknown to her if anyone would come, or if someone did and rejected her. She needed to stay optimistic, desperately needed to stay calm. What this wolf needed, was comfort, and medical attention.

she was begining to comtemplate whether or not she should explore the territory and find someone, but with the condition Chii was in that would be dangerous.. pacing some more she decided to raise another howl. her rear then sunk to the ground as she waited. her rose bud swiveled about listening for signs of anyother wolves.

Frost's ears pricked as she heard a howl. She didn't know the howl though. She somewhat recognized it, not really though. The howl had called for anyone, not her. Someone else would probably answer. Maybe Shade or Koiro. She tried to put it out of her mind while she licked her feeding pups. She only waited a little while before hearing the howl again. This time twice. Might as well... She arose herself slowly and stretched. Her pups squealed and squirmed in protest. "I'll be back soon," she told them and Oak, who had been lying with her. She trotted out of the den. It was still Spring, so the smell of flowers and the feel of warm air was around. Then she streaked off to the beach, where the howl had been heard. Why was someone there? She smelled dried blood first. Then under that, two wolves. One unknown injured one, the other was that loner from before. She ran into the scene a second later. The wounded one was lying exhausted against a tree. She had many wounds, a wolf definitely attacked her. Most of them were still bleeding somewhat. A weak trail of blood and pawprints laid a trail from a while away. She also probably hadn't let the wounds completely close yet. Frost turned her attention away from the injured one and looked at the loner.

her moon silver frame moved up to the fae cautiously. her tail waged slightly unsure if this fae was in a good mood. about three feet away now she could smell the pup spit and milk and could see her lose barrel. she was a mother now which meant satarah had to be more cautious. satarah began to smile softly and spoke gently hello again... im sorry for showing up here so late. i sent my opaki to let someone know i was coming with another wolf who was injured but i dont think she arrived yet. this fae over here, she was attacked by one of zentha's followers the cannibal Credo. her injuries are simular to the one i had when i came except they are still fresh i was hoping you could help her?

This fae over here, she was attacked by one of zentha's followers the cannibal Credo. What surprised her the most was that this loner seemed to think she wouldn't help the other wolf. However much she despised the constant ignorance of the borders by these loners, she certainly wouldn't let one die. She walked closer near both of them and studied the wounded one for a moment. This would be hard. She worked with the body, and never used herbs like others, or humans. Her mother had told her about what her mother had seen, or smelled. One of them had gotten injured, and another had brought out some foul smelling thing. Apparently. Frost turned her attention back to the one who spoke. "Of course. Go take a bath in the water," she said, nodding her head to the beach. "Then come back."

The bright eyed wolf lay there, lying in agony as she waited for someone to answer her friends urgent calling. Yet, time passed, and no one replied. No one showed up, not even a scout to investigate the situation at hand. It was then that Chii felt a sense of hopelessness. Before she came here, she thought the Xyla would at least come to meet them, but not one wolf of their pack even bothered to see them-to even reply to Satarahs howl. Perhaps her fate was to be ignored by them. Even her companion seemed to worry as she began pacing. She loosened another call, sounded more urgent than the last. But, would it make a difference?
Chii lowered her head as Satarah began to whine in anxiety. All they could do was wait, and pray that someone, anyone would come and give her medical attention. Fortunately, just when Chii was about to lose the little hope she held onto, a Xyla wolf appeared. The she-wolf did not speak, but gave glance at her, then to Satarah. At last, someone came. Maybe this wouldn't turn out so bad for her, afterall. The two conversed for a moment, but Chikako was too tired to listen. Her head slowly slid down onto her paws, eyelids threatening to close once more. Exhaustion was overwhelming her, not even realizing that the pack wolf was tending to her wounds. She finally lost the battle to slumber, as her eyelids finally dropped shut.
[Bleh, that was horrible-sorry.]

The Massive brute made his way toward the Faumara beach and as always by his side was his owl cheen, the two never seemed to stray to far from each other and when Cheen had informed shade that there was an injured fae on the Xyla territory, Well the first thing he wanted to know was if the wolf belonged to his pack or not then he would decide if he had any compassion for her, Normally he wasn't this cold but things between him and kishi had put the brute in one hell of a mood and he knew that kishi probably wasn't to happy about their little encounter either, Hell he didn't even know if she was carrying his pups or not all he knew is that he was the alpha male now and he was going to stay that way, He still cared for kishi but he was not going to step down because she had decided to.
As he made his way though the forest closing in on the beach, he knew that no one from the pack had seen or heard from their new alpha male in quite sometime, in fact he did not know if they had accepted him as their leader and of course he always had his doubts about Koiro, that stubborn little pup would never accept him even if his mother was caring shade's pups, Cheen was comfortably riding on his master's shoulder listening to his thoughts silently, Trying his best not to pry after all what had gone on between his master and that fae was their business and he had no reason to bring it back up, As soon as he and his master reached the scene Cheen went soaring into the sky then circled the group.
Shade made his approach but said nothing to them, The look in his eyes told the whole story, He was there on business. Not to reconnect with his pack or the loner that had befriended him, His eyes were as chilly as they had been the day he squared off with that white fae in the race, He stared at the scene and snarled softly, just loud enough to attract some attention from the group but not loud enough to pose a threat.

Once she had left, Frost set right to work on the wounded one. She started licking the wounds, somewhat roughly. She looked up when she heard another wolf. Shade, with his owl. Probably just a response to the howl. She was about to continue when the loner returned. She said something to Shade. Just some pleasantries, so she returned to cleaning the wounded fae. Not for long, however, since she had done what she had planned to do already. She looked at the white fae. "Come here," she said, gesturing to the loner's side. "Lie down and press against her." She didn't pay much attention to shade, why should she? The other wolf would talk and get what she wanted to know, and the only way he would be useful with healing, unless he hunted something for her, which she doubted would happen.

"i apologize for returning unannounced... how are you though?"
Shade turned his attention to the younger and smaller fae that had spoke up, He figured that the pack shaman was a bit busy tending with the seemingly injuried stranger to give he alpha the attention and respect that he had worked so hard to gain. He simply snorted softly at the thought of her then looked up at cheen still circling the group then back to the silver fae. He finally decided to respond to one of his newest..err.. friends. "Its quite alright as far as i'm concerned you pose no threat so your welcome though i don't know how the others feel, and i'm fine"
Even though he had been so polite when he spoke, It was still clear that he was not in a good mood but he was not going to snap at someone who posed no threat to him or his pack, This satarah had managed to do something that many had tried to do but failed. She had befriended the massive pitch black warrior, Even this could not distract shade from his thoughts, He was here as his duty but what he really wished to do was to go and find Kishi and do anything within his power to make it up to her after their little fight.
He loooked down at the fae on the ground before looking at the shaman then back at his friend."Make sure you aid her in any way you can and frost when that fae is back on her feet, come and find me right away.. i must be off.. other duties need my attention." With that said the large brute left a very little opening to ask what he was going to do before padding off, Cheen however landed on the tree near the group as if to keep an eye on them.

Knowing the pack was now in the hands of two capable, strong leaders was a great weight lifted from her chest. The knowledge of her inability to cater for the Xylas needs had been pestering her for too long now, and she was glad that she had finally done something to adress the issue. Kishi was confident that, althought Halgea and Shade may have their differences, and were not always the best of friends, they would put these issues aside and put the Xylas best interests first, should need be. The fae was growing old, and even if she did have a good few years left in her, she wished to spend these proving herself a good mother to her children, including the litter that was currently growing inside of her, and dedicating herself as a worthy mate to the new Alpha, Shade.
The strange howl interferred with her short nap, and Kishi debated whether to go and find out who this wolf was. Being no longer the leader, and heavily pregnant, she had the option of staying in her little hidiehole and resting some more, but curiosity and sheer boredness got the better of her, and so the femme gently lifted her swollen body onto all fours, trotting off in the direction of the Beach.
Faumara Beach wasn't too far from where she had be hiding out, and it only took her 15 minutes of deliberately slow walking to reach the scene, various scents greeting her nose as she padded closer. Two strangers were here, one of which seemed vaguely familiar, but Kishi failed to work out why. The smell of blood lingered.. slightly worrying. Frost was here too, the pack Shaman, a formidable fae who Kishi had sometimes confided in when she had been pack leader. And last, Shade, the new Alpha. Great. Now she'd have to speak to him. She had a lot of explainning to do, not just to him but to the rest of the pack too. Halgea was the only one whom she had told of the reasons for her stepping down to the role of huntress, but she knew that the others had a right to know too.
Lowering her body slightly as a sign of respect for the Alpha, kishi padded slowly towards the group, eyes swooping over each individual with curiosity.

Frost listened to their conversation with little interest. She mostly watched the wounded fae and thought. The salt from the water would help the wounds close, and kill off any infections that would try to sneak their way in. The water would help clean off the pelt somewhat, softening the toughest scabs so it would be drawn down to a convenient size. The warmth from both of the pelts would keep her from becoming cold, since she wouldn't be able to handle it as well in her state. Food would be also good, but she could get that. It could wait as well anyways, she wasn't awake yet, and the fresher the meat, the better. She reviewed this over in her mind, making sure it was right, and trying to remember if anything else might help. The mention of her name shook her out of her thoughts. "...and Frost when that fae is back on her feet, come and find me right away.. I must be off.. Other duties need my attention." Shade wanted her to talk to him? Why? With the state of things around here, it sure wasn't going to be to tell her that the humans had left, and had left a fresh buck around. She watched him walk off, but didn't move her head, when the other fae spoke quietly. "Things seem tense around here lately is there anything I can help with? Perhaps helping gather food for the pack, or pupsitting?" She shook her head. She didn't like the way she acted like she was part of the pack, or would be allowed in after her friend had helped. Then again, since the alpha was fine with it, and Xyla was a friendly pack. Too friendly, perhaps... She had no true right to judge the way the pack was ran, after all, she wasn't going to change anytime soon. "No. You'll need to hunt for your friend, and my mate is a good enough helper. Kishi may have a different answer for her own, though." Then her scent reached Frost's nose. She saw her approaching Shade, lower to the ground, a respectful position. Why? They were mates, she was alpha. Maybe something had happened with them. Her amber eyes lingered on the red fae's still swollen belly. She would be giving birth any time now. She waited for her to approach the small group of white faes before moving.

No sooner had the male disappeared from sight had he reappeared in the blink of an eye. It was clear that his faithful owl had informed him of kishi's arrival and there was no way that he was going to miss a chance to make up with her. Regardless if he approved of her choice or not she was still his mate and if he had any say about it she would always be his mate until they are both enter the eternal rest together. Even then she would still be by his side either koiro liked it or not he was the alpha now and he would do anything in his power to protect his mate and his pack.
He watched as she lowered herself in a respectful manor and normally he would of approved of a wolf greeting him in this manor but she was not just some wolf she was his mate. He slowly padded over to her instead of waiting for her to approach him and he lifted her back up then licked her muzzle softly. This was the one side that up until now only kishi had seen from the brute. Sure he had been friendly with Satarah and the others but this was beyond friendly. He whispered in her ear softly "i'm sorry, it is your choice but you will always be my alphess". What he said actually rang true she had told him on that night that she was planning on stepping down but she refused to tell him her reasoning behind her choice. That is what had started the fight between them but shade just admitted he was wrong for trying to make her do something she didn't want to. He nuzzled her softly and stayed just as close to her as she would allow as he looked over at the group. A softer gentler look in his eyes once more.

two familiar scents came to her maw one of the brute whom just left and the other of the fae he adored so much. no doubt his opaki whom watched over alerted him to the approach of his beloved mate. almost simultainiously first kishi came on the scent and shade appeared out of the shadows. something was clearly up kishi's frame lowered as she approached shade. as she moved passed satarah is was clear her barrel was swollen with pups.
a few words were exchanged im sorry, its your choice, but you will always be my alphess... had kishi really stepped down from alphess? but shade was still alpha? who was the alphess now. slightly confused satarah still managed she lower herself submissively, although there was a possiblity kishi wasn't the alphess she still deserved respect, and there was no lingering scent of a new alphess. inching closer to the two she let another friendly smile spread on her features and speaking softly she said hello im satarah, im an aqaintance of shades... may i add your as beautiful as he said... she made sure she didnt forget to introduce herself again while it was fresh in her mind, she had seen kishi before but never truely got this close or spoke to her. she just hoped kishi would like her a little more then frost appeared to.
