Bonsai Citharius: Live that you will be remembered
White-toed and black-colored paws tred along in a steady pace, unhurried, brushing past grass and multi-hued leaves shed from the trees. There was a pause, the feet halting in their onward movement. A moment's stillness; then a black nose dipped down to earth, hovering just above the ground and sniffing lightly at the grass. One paw came forward and pawed at the earth, scratching aside leaves and uncovering more of the bare soil.
Then the head lifted, the light brown nose rising to return to its level position with the land. Cyan eyes were revealed, surrounded by white patches over the eyes and two white dots at the corner of each eye.
Bonsai Citharius. Outcast of his birth lands and wanderer to this new land. Of course, he believed he'd done no wrong. He had been wronged. Rim had been his brother, his mentor, his best friend. And then the little imposters had come along and stolen all of that from him. He knew he was justified in his attempt to end the little thief's life, and for harming his sister who had tried to get between him and his goal.
With difficulty, Bonsai shunted those thoughts aside. It did no good to think of them now. That part of his life was far behind him, in lands he would never return to. The only thing he would miss was his little sidekick, Dab, who had tagged along at his heels as he once had after Rim.
Hmm. He wondered if anyone was around here. Anyone he could engage in talk and find out more about this territory. He could always find out on his own, of course, but it would be so much faster if he could get someone to tell him what he needed to know.

It had been quite some time since the Liazo warrior had last ventured through these parts, and yet she remembered each and every detail of the place vividly. She used to come here quite alot, so long as the weather wasn't too warm, back when she was still a loner. It was also here that she last stumbled upon her smaller wolf friend, Chikako. The younger fae hadn't been seen since, though, and Niyah had often wondered what had become of her. The Liazo territory had served her well, though. Prey was plentiful, and the rivers there were just wonderful. Not to mention the fact that she was under the protection of a pack; life just could not get better than that.
Yet, she still missed it all. She missed not having to do as she was told, missed not ruling under anybody else, and most of all, she missed being able to come and go as she pleased. Now, she had rules to obay, orders to follow, and tasks to carry out. And even though she loved it, it had never been her first choice of life style. Yoru, of course, disagreed completely with her masters views on the situation. The small fox formed Opakti was thriving in the pack environment, and thoroughly enjoyed not having to watch her back every second of every hour of every day, and so had not stopped complaining since the minute the pair had set foot out of Liazo territory. In the young Opaktis eyes, these lands were dangerous, especially since word of this Zentha character had gotten about again.
'Haven't you had enough yet? Can't we just got back to the packlands, like nothing ever happened? Please.' The young fox wined, kicking up some dust from the ground with her paw, ears alert for any approaching sounds. The pair had been living on Liazo lands for a while now, since Suko had accepted them into the pack and appointed Niyah as pack warrior. Yoru still had her suspicions that the wolf's priorities were not quite right yet, and this had been confirmed by the fae demanding that they take a trip out into the loner-lands once again. Suko, the Liazo Alphess, had not been seen for a while, and so Niyah had jumped on the chance to sneak away from pack territory and venture out into the dangerous parts of Kongrai. 'I'm not forcing you to stay out here, you know. You can go back any time you want.' She knew that the fox would not do this, however, and the satisfying sound of Yoru's snort of discust signalled that they could now carry on in their journey.
The two companions had been padding through the dry lands for a short ammount of time before either of them spotted the figure placed not to far ahead. Yoru was the first to see the large canine, and immedietly began to think the worse. 'Who's that?' She asked, intrigued, before eventuall adding, in a slightly more panicked tone, 'What if its Zentha? We should go! Lets go back to the pack lands, quick. Maybe he won't spot us. We can just act like none of this has ever happened!' Niyah ignored the cowaring fox's panick stricen worries, and slowly began to pad towards the figure. She herself was feeling slightly more weary now, but curiosity was just too hard to pass. "Hello?"

Bonsai Citharius: Live that you will be remembered
Scents on the wind. Someone was nearby. A slight smile flitted across Bonsai's face, lasting only a moment before disappearing. He perked up his ears, honing in on the tones floating toward him. He waited, fairly patiently. Whoever it was was definately coming his way, and they'd come into sight soon enough.
The sound of paws crunched over leaves. "Hello?" Ah, there it was. They had seen him. Bonsai turned his head to peer over his shoulder, one cool eye landing on the wolf and... a fox? The brow lifted in a hint of surprise. How odd. This was something he'd never seen before. Where he had come from, foxes and coyotes were considered scavengers and pup-killers and were killed on sight. Maybe here it was different.
Bonsai swung his body around to face the two full on. He dipped his head in a nod of greeting, eyes scanning the female. She was alright... pretty but kind of generic in appearance. Creamy tans, mottled browns and a rich red on her ears. Nothing like the vibrant colors of the wolves he'd grown up seeing in his birthland. And no fae could ever hold a candle to Eden. She had been a beauty unmatched by any other.
"Hello," Bonsai replied. "Nice to meet you. I am Bonsai Citharius. And you are?" He tilted his head down to blink at the red fox again, musing over the reason the wolf would let this pint-sized canine trail her around. Was it only for companionship? How useless. Was the fae so desperate for affection that she would seek it from lesser creatures? He turned his cyan irises from the fox, fixing them on the she-wolf's face again, waiting for her to reply.

Watching as a look of confusion and surprise washed over his face, Niyah rolled her eyes ever so lightly. It was a reaction she had become rather accustomed too since she had begun travelling with Yoru, each one being different. Those who were not aware of what an Opakti was would look upon the she-wolf as though she had lost her mind, whilst observing the fox with a look of mere discust. Those who did know what an Opakti was, well, often they'd pick fights, for some reason, nobody seemed to want to get along. Yoru was clearly feeling weary of the newcomer, all sorts of abserd thoughts travelling through her mind. The young vixen may have shown a decent ammount of strength and wit in battle before, but she was not the bravest of creatures.
'Hello, Nice to meet you. I am Bonsai Citharius. And you are?'
Bonsai Citharius. The fae repeated the name in her head several times, struggling over what was the correct pronounciation. Perhaps he was forreign? Two names for one wolf! How very.. odd. He looked different to the usual sort she came across, too, although she couldn't quite place why that was. "I'm Niyah, and this here's Yoru." She said with a smile, gesturing to the young fox beside her, who was still fretting silently to herself, over whether he meant them any harm.
(So sorry for the wait.. and for such a bad post. I'm ill)
