Though her dazzling sapphires were hidden behind closed eyelids, she could feel the gaze of her pack members eyes upon her, upon her newborn children. Their innocent cries were soft in the night, and there tiny paws motioned towards her stomach. Colossal paws huddled closer to them from her maternal instinct to keep them warm and safe. Those warm feelings returned from her last birth of her litter, wanting to do everything in her power to protect them. She would make sure that no harm would ever fall on them. No man nor beast of her kind would lay a hand on her precious infants. Never.
Suddenly, she felt there eyes leave her, there presence abandon her to outside of the cave. Her eyelids slowly coiled back, sapphires tiredly searching for the cause of there departure. There was nothing, but the sound of a commotion outside. Something was terribly amiss.. Senna knew too well that trouble seemed to rear it's head at the worst of times. And this, was a terrible time for someone to have the audacity to start a fight. Her head lifted off her outstretched limbs, ears perked forward to listen in on what was going on outside. It was hard, considering the roar of the waterfall.. but, with much strain, she heard a familiar voice, one that belonged to her pack. Sparta? His words, the one she managed to hear, sounded so harsh. As did her children words directed towards him. Something was not right. A low rumble erupted from her throat, ebon lips peeling back to bare her fangs in aggravation. She wanted to march out there and snap, to just lace into someone for causing such a commotion. Senna knew that was impossible. The lives of the tiny newborns depended on her, and she desperately needed rest. She wasn't in any condition to inspect the situation outside, let alone defend herself.
All the alphess could do, was wait. Wait for some sort of signal that whatever was going on was ending.. or worse, just beginning. But the anticipation and ruckus went on and on, until finally, the scent of Sparta began to fade. Could he have left..? And what had made him so angry in the first place? Her stern hardened face was kept directed at the entrance of them cave, waiting for someone to inform her on what had happened. But, as Spartas scent left, another masculine scent hit her delicate nostrils. The sweet aroma that she had been longing for. Kaija.. Her mate had finally arrived. She knew he would arrive sooner or later, but she was glad that he was finally here. She wanted him to see his new litter of pups, his two daughters.
------------------
The jackal had howled for what seemed like an eternity, his voice growing rasped. The canines limbs were aching from the non-stop running he was doing.. and for what? Taro didn't even find Kaija, or that raven of his. All of this running was for nothing. He could have stayed back with Senna, in the safety of the den. He felt horrible for leaving her now. His master was in labor, and he just left her by herself. His efforts to find her mate were fruitless, and he had already covered so much distance. Now, he had to travel all the way back, and deliver the painful news. Heaving a heavy sigh, he turned back, heading towards Senna's den site. He knew he had to hurry now, even though his legs persisted to stop. Taro was her guardian.. if anything was to happen to her while he was away, then he would be to blame. It was his duty to protect her at all costs. Right now, he wasn't doing a very good job of it.
After some time, he finally returned, only to find a crowd was around assembled outside the entrance. Nemu, Amori, Cinder, another unknown yearling.. and of course, his golden robs landed on the one he searched so hard for. Kaija. His ears flattened against his skull as he realized that he must have heard his cries for him, and headed straight for his mate. He didn't stay outside for long, rushing back into the cave, frantically searching to see if his master was safe. "Senna..?" The jackal called out in a gentle tone for her, until he finally spotted her. She lay there, with two precious pups, unharmed. A wave of relief washed over him as he walked towards her. He wanted to remain a safe distance from her though-he didn't want a repeat of last time when he got too close to her litter. "Are you alright..? Kaija is outside.. I'm sure he'll be in momentarily." He tried hiding the concern in his voice, but there was no point. It was already written all of his face of how worried he was for the Skyla alphess. I'm fine, Taro. He reassuring voice popped into his mind, easing the male if only a little. He wouldn't leave her again. Not like this. Taro circled the ground for a moment before laying down in a comfortable position, keeping a watchful eye on the she wolf.

As the famme stepped out between the twins and their father, It was quite clear that she was back to her old demented self, Back when she was in perfect sync with the pack, She slowly brought her head up as her icey cold glaze fell uppon her alpha, A look in them that any male with any brains would be afraid of, It seemed that she was going to stand up to her alpha like she had done not to long ago, An action that nearly sealed her banishment but just then she sunk down into a respectful bow, Before speaking softly. " She is my daughter Ember,Sire I brought her here in the hopes she could join this mighty pack"
The way the fae spoke caught the dark brown bat off~guard just like it most likely caught everyone around her off guard. The only one she had really spoken to with this much respect was her daughter, "Myia, Go and tell Senna what took place here now" The bat shrieked as her master's voice echoed in her head, She quickly shook her head before snapping back at her master, "You know i can't speak with any wolf but you..But.." The bat shuddered seeing the look in her master's eyes, She was in no mood to be questioned by anyone below her, "I'll find a way..." with that stated the bat took off from its branch just above the grouping of wolves, Flying toward the cave as she spun at the right time to bypass the waterfall, But what she saw next took her by surprise, A jackal was now laying by the dark alphess, She could only assume that he was her guardian, Either way she decided to give it a shot as she clung to a ledge she looked at the jackal and screeched. " Hey you mutt!"
"Sire, We really must speak alone, but before that" The fae slowly rose to her full height before glancing back at the cave then back at him with a slight smile,"You should meet your new pups and spend some quality time with your queen...Alone" the last part of that was clearly directed at the twins and her own daughter, as she would slowly step out of the path of her alpha, making sure that her head never rose above his.

'Im cinders daughter... eh emily. i go by ember though... perferably...sir.'
Kaija swung his head round to observe the yearling whom was addressing him. She had stepped out towards him, a brave move for such a young wolf, especially one that was not exactly a pack member, that had to be noted, but even so, the cautiousness and nerves were rolling off of her in waves. Rightly so, too. One simple word of command from him, and she would be dead. He was aware that cinder would perhaps not obey him if he were to demand such a thing, but the twins would, he had no doubt about that. However, he saw no reason as to why he should do that. In his concern, the young fae had shown respect and a hint of boldness, something that was treasured within the skyla pack wolves. For now, perhaps, she was safe from harms way.
'She is my daughter Ember,Sire I brought her here in the hopes she could join this mighty pack.'
Cinder too had stepped out, this time standing in front of her alpha in a way that, under different circumstances, would have pissed the male off to no end. At the last minute before speaking, however, the warrior sunk low into a respectful bow, showing that her actions had meant no ill harm. Kaija nodded. He had no time for this now. His mate needed him. We will discuss this at a more suitable time. I trust that no more commotion will occur in my absence. Tamen will be keeping a close eye, I expect you to remember that. The Alpha said with a deep, serious tone, effectively telling Cinder it was now under her duty to keep the pack lands safe and secure during the next few days, along with the twins. Keep her close and out of trouble, the matter of her presence will be addressed soon. He stated, nodding towards the yearling, 'ember'.
Tamen circled above, his large wingspan cutting through the air as he hovered, glancing over each individual in turn. Something was strange. An odd, unappealing scent lingered around, one that made the Opakti feel sick to his stomach. Surely not? The jackal was enough to deal with, and yet another guardian had joined the posse? The bird scanned every single thing in his surroundings, trying hard to spot the offender, until finally his beady little eyes settled on a creepy looking thing. A bat. Well great. Another Opakti to contend with. This was just great.
'Sire, We really must speak alone, but before that, You should meet your new pups and spend some quality time with your queen...Alone.'
Kaija nodded. Cinder was handling things, it was plain enough to see. He turned his back to the pack, all gathering around the cave mouth, and stepped into the alpha pairs den. Senna.

her rose thorns raised with her tiara, when he gave his gesture of her possibly staying. she felt an enormous amount of adrenalin and excitement run through her. as her disappeared into the darkness of the den where his new children lay she finally breathed a sigh of relief. was it possible she could be finally home? she tried to hide the smile from her face, but could only look back down at the ground. this feeling of accomplishment was reinvigorating. he had said to stay near, but all she wanted to do was run from one side of the land to the other, that would have to wait though because she didn't want to disobey orders.
as she sat her amber orb burned into the gavel below her as she examined every stone, and pushed the dirt around with her creamy paws. being excited and waiting for something was truly the ultimate boredom. rising to her feet once more she began following the running water searching for something to entertain her. wait what was that? hmm a turtle shell but no buddy is home. she began batting it around as if she were cat.

'Senna.'
Familiar deep vocals beckoned her attention, cerulean eyes rising to meet the brute at the entrance. Optics glided over the males features, knowing in an instant that this authority figure could only belong to one great leader. Kaija.. Her vocals were hushed by the sheer exhaustion of labor, managing to display a light smile saved for her mate. At last, her king had arrived, and she could not have been happier. Though the pups seemed more than eager to arrive before him, she was glad he was here none the less. Taro laid a fair distance away, but rose up to all fours knowing that despite his good intentions, it was best to leave the two alone. The spirit slunk out of the cave, leaving the alphas to their litter.
The tiny pups that nestled into her side reminded her why she had sent Taro to her mate. They're here. She murmured in a rasped tone, making a simple gesture with a gentle flick of her tail for him to come closer. It was a small litter this year, just two puppies. She birthed four the year before, but two had just vanished without a trace..she presumed that they were dead. Looking down at the two females now, she knew she had to make up for the mistakes she made the year before. The alphess had more experience now, and she knew she could be a better mother to them. They couldn't afford to lose any numbers, especially when there numbers were not that great after the harsh winter.
Sennas tail glided softly off of the pups, uncovering them to show their father of his new precious heir. Two healthy girls..they look just like you. The tired she wolf whispered, there bodies squirming with the sudden cool air upon them. How helpless they were as she kept her gaze upon them-being blind, deaf, and defenseless. Hard to believe that she was once in this state too, many moons ago. She was getting older now, and realized that bearing new heir to the throne held a great purpose. There will be a day where she and her mate will no longer be capable to run this pack. Time was not something you can keep at bay, she was getting older. As she was getting older, she knew that she eventually had to step down, to give her title to one of her children. What child would prove worthy of kind or queen, she would not know. Maybe it would be one of the two huddled into her side. Until then, she would cherish their fragile state alongside Kaija, her twins, and her pack-her family.

Sparta had run. Fled the scene with nothing more than a threat to leave behind. Accusations of both Cinder and Emily being traitors had left his lips, with further talk of the Skyla 'falling and rising with a new leader.' Leaving Amori completely confused. He simply could not grasp what was going on. Who was the real traitor here? And who the heck was Emily? He eyed Cinder and her child curiously, watching the way they reacted as the male retreated, his battle lost.
Minutes later, the overpowering scent of his Alpha interrupted his musings, and his father, the ruler of the Skyla pack, padded onto the scene. Amori lowered himself immediately, bowing his head in a show of respect for his leader, before stepping back and taking a place on the sidelines, eager to watch what would happen with interest. Cinder introduced her daughter carefully, and after the exchanging of some words and the quick building of tension, his father padded into the cave, not leaving behind the scene that Amori had expected. The young brute yawned, and then averted his gaze to watch the new wolf, ember, with curiosity.

She simply nodded after all she was not about to question anything her alpha had to say not after she had finally regained some of her old respect from the pack and it couldn't of come at a better time, She would need the pack's support now especially her leaders now that ember was back in her life, She was already hopeing and praying that kajia could find it in his heart to let her stay but deep down she knew he'd be easier to convince then his cold-hearted mate and her alphess Senna.
Before she knew it her alpha had made his way into the pack cave to spend sometime with his queen, leaving her to deal with her daughter and his own children but she didn't blame him at all, He had to miss her and he had already missed the birth of his latest pups and not to mention he hadn't of been in the best of moods as of late, she slowly shifted her attention going from pup to pup to make sure they were still there.
Her attention coming to a rest on her own flesh and blood ember, Her father flashing before her eyes causing her to shake her head for a moment, Cinder didn't know where ember's father was nor did she care, All she cared about was raising her daughter and keeping her alphas happy, She slowly laid down to keep an eye on everything. "Ember, don't stray to far"

Ember felt the gaze of her mother and the others falling upon her. She paused her tormenting of the empty turtle shell and glanced back at them. She could see the young male looking at her. She felt her cheeks beginning to burn so returned her view to the shell. Grasping it in her jaw you could hear her ivory fangs grinding against it. She thought about snapping it but a better idea occurred. She could give it to the we pups when they were teething. So she began digging a hole and proceeded to bury her little treasure. However she once again found herself sitting and playing with dirt. Her thorns sort of flattened. Night fall was going to be approaching soon so she wondered if there would be a group hunt and if there was would she be included? Her lava pools followed the rivers edge until there gaze seen a shallow place. She made her way over to the rapid water as it coursed in thin formation over small rocks and sand and laid down. The cool water felt nice. As her tiara dipped her pink tongue rolled down and up picking up the brisk liquid. A few drops fell from her lips as she took one more glacé at the group. They must think she is weird, but what could she do? She still didn't quite know them and couldn't be rough housing yet until she was for sure a pack member, or could she. She would have to see if any of the other yearlings would approach her first though.
